Racheal made her way toward the school garden after receiving a text from Jessica. Upon arriving, she found Jessica sitting on a bench, waiting for her.

"Hi there," Racheal greeted quietly as she approached, her bag slung over her shoulder like soone burdened with the weight of the world. "I received your text."

"I told you to stay away from Henry, but you told he’s the one who’s staying away from you now?" Jessica asked, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Yes! He sat beside today and started apologizing," Racheal replied with a heavy sigh. "To be honest, he’s a fool. I don’t understand how he could still want to associate with soone who tried to kill him."

"Hmmm... well, he does seem like a fool to . Or maybe he’s grown fond of you," Jessica said thoughtfully, her hand resting on her chin.

"That’s impossible," Racheal shot back imdiately, surprising Jessica.

"Anyway, that’s between you two," Jessica said dismissively. "Now, let’s focus on my business. We need to start copying students’ information today."

"So soon?" Racheal asked, her face filled with concern. "Do you want us to get caught?"

"Break ti is the perfect ti. Everyone will be out. We can’t do it at night because the students’ information hall is locked with a passcode then, but in the afternoons, it’s just locked with a key and I have a spare key for that," Jessica explained, her tone serious.

"But... but... I’m not ready," Racheal replied, her expression sad. "I’m still trying to process everything. My mind isn’t fully prepared."

"Thinking about everything?" Jessica let out a burst of laughter. "Girl, do you think you still have a choice? Break only lasts thirty-five minutes, and ten have already passed. That leaves us with twenty-five minutes. Don’t waste my ti," she snapped, starting to walk away. "Let’s go."

Racheal, though hesitant, had no choice but to follow closely behind Jessica.

The school hall was bustling with students, so done with lunch and heading back to class, while others were just starting their break. Jessica and Racheal maneuvered through the crowd, making their way upstairs to an enclosed room deep within the building where students’ records were kept. Jessica pulled out the master key from her pocket and unlocked the door, revealing rows of filing cabinets and a computer terminal.

"Quickly, we don’t have much ti," Jessica whispered, her eyes scanning the room. "We need to copy the contact information of as many students as possible. We won’t get through all of them today, but 200 should be enough to start. We’ll get the rest as custors later."

Racheal’s unease was clear, but Jessica’s determination pushed her forward. Together, they began rifling through the files, with Jessica pulling out folders while Racheal scribbled down nas and contact details in a notepad.

As they worked, Racheal couldn’t shake the gnawing guilt. She knew this was wrong, but the fear of prison and the lure of easy money kept her moving.

"By the way, we’ll use the nightti to wrap the drugs," Jessica revealed, her voice low. "I’ll be coming to your room every night. Since you don’t have a roommate, it’s the perfect place. I’ll teach you everything you need to know."

Racheal could only nod, resigned to her fate. She had already stepped into this dark path, and there seed to be no turning back. The deeper she went, the more she felt like she was drowning in a sea of darkness with no one to save her.

"But why are you still doing this?" Racheal asked, her voice trembling. "I an, your mom’s club isn’t a cri scene anymore. Can’t you just run your business there?"

Jessica scoffed. "Who told you I only run this in the club? And do you seriously think I enrolled at Belmont just to attend so fancy school, paying tons in tuition without getting anything back? Please."

Racheal raised an eyebrow, confused. "What do you an?"

Jessica gave her a sly smile. "I’m here to sell drugs, obviously. I’m not wasting money here for no reason. These rich kids are my perfect custors. Now that I’m at Belmont, I plan on sticking around for the long term, building my business. You, my dear, are now my business partner. Now hurry up and finish copying those nas, or we won’t make it out in ti."

"So this was your plan all along. You only ca to Belmont because of your drugs?" Racheal scoffed.

"Yes of course. Now that you know. Let’s get down to business." Jessica said, her voice etched with seriousness.

Racheal swallowed hard, her heart heavy as she continued to write down the students’ information. Every na she wrote down felt like a further descent into darkness.

Just as they were about to finish, they heard footsteps outside the room. Jessica’s eyes darted toward Racheal, silently warning her to stay quiet. They both quickly hid behind a row of cabinets.

The door creaked open, and a bespectacled teacher peeked inside. "Who left this door open?" she murmured, scanning the room but not seeing anyone. She shook her head and stepped back out, locking the door from the outside.

Jessica and Racheal waited in silence until the footsteps faded away before erging from their hiding spot.

"That was so close" Racheal voiced out with a sigh of relief.

"We should wrap this up. Break will be over soon. We’ll finish the rest later this afternoon," Jessica whispered, gathering the papers. "Let’s get out of here before that teacher cos back."

Racheal nodded in agreent, her nerves frayed. They made their way to the door, and Jessica pulled out the key to unlock it only to find it wouldn’t turn.

"What’s wrong?" Racheal asked, anxiety rising in her chest.

"The door isn’t opening," Jessica muttered, her frustration evident. "It must’ve been locked with the passcode from the outside."

"We’re stuck?" Racheal’s voice wavered as the full weight of their situation settled on her.

"Yes."
