Seris didn’t show much of a reaction.
"As you command," she whispered and moved her hands gracefully, summoning an enormous book in front of her.
It floated around for a mont, showing off its elegant gems.
Then it flipped.
The pages flickered so fast that no one could catch even a single glimpse of them. Still, the book had an inviting aura around it, causing eyes to linger on it.
It felt like it was asking to be read.
Suddenly, it stopped.
Seris read through the pages.
She looked so imrsed that Noa almost believed she had forgotten his question.
However, she glanced back at Noa, her tone serious this ti. "As I ntioned earlier, this entire space belongs to you.
I anchored it to your will.
It holds an infinite number of martial manuals, all categorized by every filter you can think of—be it their rank, mastery difficulty, grade, origin, or anything else."
As she spoke, diagrams materialized behind her.
So were shaped like ancient formations, while others showed floating panels.
There was no lack of paths of energy.
They hovered like mazes, displaying manuals with their titles as well.
She paused to let Noa absorb her words.
Her full attention stayed on him, almost ignoring everyone else.
"Once the manual is chosen, the book will project personalized training based on the subject’s cultivation grade to et their requirents."
Seris went silent again.
She was peering at Noa and the hovering runes at the sa ti.
"There are a lot more things this hall can offer. It’s just part of discovering and using them, which is part of its charm, isn’t it?"
Noa nodded at her words, agreeing.
The system had already explained bits and pieces by showing the description and features.
But seeing how everything worked felt completely different.
He was about to ask sothing when Yun Qiqi chid in, her loud voice and daring attitude reverberating through the endless realm.
"What about the fireball? Is there any manual for that?"
She had rembered Mia’s wish and asked before anyone else could intervene.
The graceful woman shifted her attention.
Her eyes, holding the universe within, glowed as they landed on the little girl. A flicker of amusent also flashed across her face.
"Interesting," she said first, noticing sothing no naked eye could ever perceive.
Then, as if recalling the question, she added,
"Fireball? We might have sothing you are looking for. But... I doubt you can learn it."
Yun Qiqi didn’t lose her ground.
"I know," she said, her tone serious. "I want it for my sister."
Noa was watching how Seris’s eyes glowed when they found Qiqi. ’Did she?’ he questioned in his head and asked loudly as well.
"Do you know anything about her condition?"
He felt Mia’s strong gaze on his back.
She wanted what they were talking about.
What condition? What did this woman see, and why did she think that Qiqi wouldn’t be able to learn it?
This whole ti, Mia thought that Yun Qiqi didn’t cultivate because she was still a child.
Maybe she wasn’t as talented as she was and couldn’t awaken her core.
But—
Truth turned out to be completely different, causing her heart to stir in fear.
Even though it hadn’t been a long ti since she got to know Qiqi, it was impossible for her to dislike this little mischievous kid.
The little ti they spent together was enough for her to love this girl.
Like an actual little sister.
Seeing Qiqi trying so hard to be tough for the two of them ward Mia’s heart.
"What condition?" she asked.
Though the little girl remained silent this entire ti, she didn’t seem too surprised.
She had no idea about her condition either, but she always had a hunch that sothing was wrong with her.
"One of the seven seeds," the woman replied casually. "Calamity—to be exact."
Noa didn’t know Qiqi would hear this.
He would have preferred if Mia didn’t know this either.
Now, in an instant, both of them heard about it, because he couldn’t stop Seris from ntioning it.
What’s worse, Xue Hanly, Qing Xuan, and Chen Hao were also present.
Noa still had no idea how much the average population knew about this topic, so he couldn’t risk asking them before.
Perhaps the truth was sothing he didn’t want to hear.
Now it happened, and there was no undoing it.
But instead of dwelling on it or beating himself over it, Noa thought sothing, ’Maybe it’s for the better, and I should have asked long ago.’
Thinking about it, he was too foolish.
’I have a lot more to learn. I need more character developnt,’ he mused, glancing at the woman.
Noa didn’t show his reactions, hiding behind his stoic face.
He then asked,
"What do you know about them? Do you know how to cure it?"
Seris raised her head.
She was looking up at the sky, as if studying the constellations and every star within them.
"The Seeds," she began, voice barely above a whisper. "They aren’t that rare in this endless universe. So worlds are born with them. So never do.
Each one has unique properties, and it’s impossible to predict what they would do. Most of them are rarely good news, but so might bring sothing worthwhile."
Noa listened attentively.
He wanted to inquire more, but the woman read his intention, stopping him.
"I am no God of Knowledge. Nor was I born with the gift of omniscience. I said what I knew, and I am sorry for not being of greater assistance."
"It’s okay," Noa answered.
At least there was hope.
Not only were seeds more common than he originally believed, but they weren’t always deadly.
’There will be more opportunities to learn more about them.’
Seris only looked after martial manuals and techniques, so it was to be expected for her not to know everything in this vast cosmos.
Mia seed more dejected than him.
Her face showed a strong hint of worry, while her hands clutched Qiqi’s.
She wanted to assure the girl that Noa would find ways to help her, but instead of listening to her, Yun Qiqi declared again,
"Can you teach Big Sister Mia how to make a fireball?"
