This was after the long conversation Zhang Qin Feng had with his first clone yesterday.
It seems that the number of virus carriers around them had significantly reduced compared to before nightfall. If they were to take a snapshot from a bird-eye view, one would notice that not a single zombie can be seen in the distance around a two-kiloter radius.
Of course, it was thanks to Zhang Tianci's effort that the security periters doubled up by twice on a single night.
But they still couldn't put aside the fact this camp was almost attacked twice by the horde. Luckily, before it happened, Zhang Tianci had already led his n out to intercept the zombies before they got closer to the disinfected zone.
With only ten combatants with him, thwarting two zombie hordes from attacking successfully was an outstanding achievent.
Since there's nothing else Zhang Qin Feng had to be worried about, it was understandable that he could now get in touch with the second fleet to continue with the plan.
"This is Big Boss. All Assailant-Class Captains, co into channel BB-1 once you receive my ssage." Zhang Qin Feng casually said while resting on a wooden recliner he brought out from the Dinsional Storage.
Even he was surprised that sothing like this existed inside the storage system. This item likely cos into his possession when he blindly collects stuff into the storage without looking afterward.
"This is captain for 002."
"004's Captain, answering the call."
"006 and 008 here, reporting in, Boss."
The four captains responded to his call instantly in less than five seconds. From how it looks, the beacon site can be said to be deactivated entirely after losing the energy support from all three power stations.
Right now, the building is nothing but a research subject for Zhang Qin Feng's crew. But it was too early to comnt any further, as the technology adapted by the Carmine Union seems to be slightly different compared to The Strand.
While the firearms here is still nowhere to be found, it seems that there are quite differences between the two island. Even in Stein's record, the detail on firearms wasn't that significantly explained in detail.
Again, it was too early to say they're safe from the electronic interference right now, as they know too little about these constructs. Zhang Qin Feng didn't even have the slightest idea of what they could do and why these beacons were built.
Based on his opinion as an outsider, they must have fulfilled the specific requirent to cause the beacon to be activated automatically. Furthermore, he was told that plenty of these fuel-powered vehicles exist.
Knowing sothing like this made Zhang Qin Feng reconsider his earlier opinion that this might be a coup-de-tat. Because from his understanding, a coup couldn't happen in such an orderly manner.
Zhang Qin Feng believes that this electronic interference project is likely not funded by an independent party or terrorist but the Carmine Union itself. Only the Union itself has such a solid financial background and manpower to openly run this project.
"It was great to hear your voice early in the morning. And again, I'm glad that the signal jamr seems to not affecting us. Still, even with my approval, approach the island slowly and report everything using flares in case the communication is cut off, alright?" said Zhang Qin Feng.
"Yes, Boss. All of us understand." their representative, the 008's captain, replied.
"Alright. if that's the case, shall we proceed with our following arrangent?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"Boss, all we're waiting now was a word from you. Everyone is ready to depart at your command." the 008's captain added.
"Good. Then, make your way to the beach from your location. I'll send a team to receive everyone, provide protection, and lead you all to the outermost settlent. It may sound pointless for to repeat this all over again, but let's establish a secure base of operation here." Zhang Qin Feng said.
A smile can be seen on his face while Zhang Qin Feng talked about his intention to establish a base on the settlent he spent a night not long after landing. Also, he was satisfied with the captains and their arrangent without him monitoring them so far.
"It will be done, Boss. The crews will be joining you and start working on the plan once they get on the island. Good luck." said the 008's captain as the communication disconnected.
The transport vessels floated close to the four Assailant-Class Patrol Ships started their engine minutes after the talk and prepared for their landing.
"Alright, boys and girls! The Big Boss had given us his order! Get ready to move out!" the captain said as the twenty or so Transport Vehicles sailed forward to deliver their loads onto the island.
Sa ti while the Transport Vessels moved forward, Zhang Qin Feng got in touch with Zhang Tianci.
To his surprise, it actually took Zhang Tianci three minutes to respond to his call, which made Zhang Qin Feng curious about what his clone was doing.
"Yes, Creator. What's your order?" Zhang Tianci said.
"The second fleet is coming onshore. I need you to bring a team to the beach to receive them. Can you do it on my behalf?" Zhang Qin Feng asked. His words were more like an interaction between two friends and not giving out order from a superior to subordinate.
"Of course. I'll quickly assemble a team with and make haste to the site. Is there anything else to pay attention to?" Zhang Tianci responded. It seems that he had already started to pick a few combatants to follow him as they began to pack up their belongings.
All of this was done while Zhang Tianci was still on the line with his creator.
"Yes. Do you rember the minor settlent we stopped on our first night? I want you to bring them there and let them start developing that area into our primary base."
"Also, remind them about the invasive parasite and make sure nobody eats or drinks anything that wasn't supplied from the second fleet." Zhang Qin Feng said.
"Noted. I'll bring half of the team out to et with the landing team now. Zhang Tianci, out." the call disconnected.
