Chapter 336: (EDT) Second Part - Escape
"Bring your boss away before it is too late. Shaun, Queenie, Alex, and I will stay here to stop them until everyone is gone. Move quickly before it was too late." Satella said. That was the last reply they got from her before the Luna Device was taken off and get destroyed.
From the look of it, they're going to abandon the Wind Base.
And as Zhang Qin Feng was going to struggle, Valerian ca out from the cabin and hugged him. The twins also appeared and pulled him down from getting away. It was a difficult decision for them to abandon this base they put effort into building.
But if they don't leave right now, it would be a waste to Satella and the other's effort to keep their enemy from breaking through.
Her will to stay and fight can be felt from the mont she destroyed the Luna Device on her. Collectively, Shaun, Alex, Queenie wrecked their Luna Device as well. This was done to keep the attacker from tracking where Zhang Qin Feng was.

Once again, the weapon is charging again as the real culprit behind this beam weapon cos into view.
It was a four-legged walker with an enormous two-pronged cannon above the controller's cabin. The gun it had was the most eye-catching point of this four-legged walker.
As it began to charge the third shot, Zhang Qin Feng could see how the electrical current flowed through the gun barrel and created a stasis field around it.
One light after another lits on the inner side of the three-ter gun barrel until the entire weapon flashed with brilliant light.

Aiming towards the port, Zhang Qin Feng witnesses how the beam obliterates everything in its path as the beam sliced through one Assailant-Class ship after another.
The beam lasted until seven ships were destroyed. The three remaining vessels were considered lucky because the gun had lost all its power after firing the beam for about four seconds.
"We've arrived! Quickly leave the vehicle and get on board!" Victor, the vehicle driver, said while he and Marvin got out from the driving cabin. They were rushing to move Zhang Qin Feng onboard into a hidden vessel deep inside a cavern.
Soon, the fourth shot arrived. The beam from the four-legged beast mowed down the three remaining vessels before it finally stopped firing. The sound from retaliation also slowly toned down until only an occasional gunshot was heard.
This situation lasted for close to an hour.
With Satella, Shaun, Alex, and Queenie's Luna Device broken, Zhang Qin Feng had no other choice but to hope they'd survive through this.
Soon, Zhang Qin Feng's Luna Device revealed many reading signatures running towards their location. It was evident that their hiding spot had been discovered by the attackers.
"They found us. We have to go right now." Victor said as he sat on the captain's seat. Using all the knowledge he had over this vessel they found and secretly continued to build, Victor commanded the operators to start up this ship's overall function.
"BAM!"
The natural rock formation that kept this ship hidden were demolished as the vessel charged out from its shipyard. Perhaps, not even the opponent could guess that Wind Base still had a secret weapon with them, albeit an incomplete one.
As the gun from the four-legged walker was on cooldown, it couldn't be charged in such a short ti without replacing the power pack. This gave Zhang Qin Feng a slight hope of escaping from the attackers.
The close to 500m long vessel imdiately picked up its speed when it got into deeper water. It seems that this ship hides more secrets than just its enormous size because the cruising speed was twice the speed of a basic Jiaolong-01.

"No… This prey is mine. Why would I give the right to control the Vermilion Empress to soone else?" the leader of this attacking team said. He looked happy the mont he saw the 500m long vessel sailed out of its shipyard.
'Haha… I am getting more and more interested in this guy… From where he got so many resources to continue constructing the Vermilion Empress?' it seems that the vessel was the reason these people ca here. But that still didn't answer how he could know about this hidden vessel.
