Chapter 274: Repopulation Shelter No:205/Turbine Town (2)
The Residential Chamber is akin to a sanctuary.
Although this sector was built underground, this facility cos with adequate preparation from sunlight, weather, a refined atmosphere that promotes a healthier lifestyle, along with the best appliance for comfort.
This facility would even work if it was built on other planets across the solar system. As long as the power to maintain all the facilities endured, this facility would last almost indefinitely.
Unlike the building material they're using outside for Turbine Town, the material used for this Residential Chamber felt hollow. But while it looked porous, the reality was different from their expectation.
While Zhang Qin Feng and so of the team cooperated to get rid of the zombies here, they found out that even a shot from the powerful Delta-Model Pistol was failed to punch through the wall. It was totally out of their expectation.
"That flimsy-looking walls were actually so durable?" one of the soldiers said. If a Delta-Model couldn't even punch through the wall, they don't even need to try it using the Thunderbolt.
Perhaps only the "Raven" Sniper Rifle hanging on Satella's back could leave a dent on this durable wall.
Maybe because this sector was isolated from the outside world and mutation, the zombies were regular infectees. None of them had any sign of transformation or struggles. Even the dust was piling on their skull, clothing, and belongings.
"Clear!" a soldier reported.
It was quickly followed by other soldiers that spread around to get rid of all the possible threats. It was estimated that close to 2,000 zombies were here on their entry. As for survivors, it was zero.
This place was an excellent salvageable location. Furthermore, even the electronics here were still usable. And yet, all the equipnt is still in its pristine condition. It can be said to be a miracle because at least a decade had passed here.
Zhang Qin Feng stored so of the stuff inside his Dinsional Storage before leaving this place to the other soldiers. This is to make sure he could recreate the sa thing after returning to the modern world.
Even if he couldn't, he still had Marvin and Victor's help to create a lite version.
"Boss! We're almost getting through the door! Please co back here!" said the soldiers as their process of lting through the door was almost done.
It took Zhang Qin Feng and Satella like ten minutes to get back to this location.
Their gun was ready to blaze through the door in case the zombie inside there tried to co out. But once again, nothing like their expectation arrived when a secure passage was created.
Except for so putrid air on the other side, there's nothing else.

Stein's Sonar quickly responded the mont it detected the movent of sothing huge. Once again, the reptile's body makes its appearance from the ventilation shaft above the door and devours one of Zhang Qin Feng's soldiers.
Instead of returning to the shaft, it bravely appeared before Zhang Qin Feng and the others.
"A mutated Snake?" Zhang Qin Feng imdiately recognized the movent pattern. This monster should be the sa as the one he encountered when he and Satella were fighting against a Tyrant on the surface.
But it was evidently more titanic compared to before.
"SHUA!" the monster snake opened its jaw to release a breath of putrid gases that could make the soldiers vomit from slling it. It was worst than a mix of drunk breath, poisonous gas, pee, and poop.
As for those unaffected, they quickly unload their bullet at that target. But the hide of this monster was too thick for the supercharged shot to take effect. The electrical current runs wild without injuring the beast.
Perhaps due to instinct, the monster tried to devour Zhang Qin Feng and realized that he was not taking a shot. Or he was perceived as the weakest of the bunch for not taking any action.
But as the monster approached Zhang Qin Feng, a bullet ca from the Raven Sniper Rifle. It struck beautifully at the corner of the monster's eye, making it stutter for a second before moving around at high speed.
Then, another soldier was devoured by the monster before he could do anything. Even if he survived through the swallowing, the impact from getting ramd by sothing moving close to 100 miles per hour would wreck his body for sure.
Their engagent against the monster continued. Since the Thunderbolt Rifles were not working as expected, their only choice was to rely on solid bullets and explosives like the Delta-Model and Decimator Rockets.
Inside an enclosed area like this, Zhang Qin Feng couldn't use the Wolfram Light against this target unless he was willing to die along with it.
Luckily, the monster's size was titanic. This allowed the bullet to hit nine out of ten tis, as long the shooter tried their best. The damage might be insignificant, but when it accumulates, the attack still went through sohow.
Soon, bloodstain started to appears on the surface the monster had been before.
And it cried for the first ti when a decimator warhead exploded just a little behind its skull. To make it worst, Zhang Qin Feng's quick response allowed him to pulled the trigger twice, firing two more decimator-type grenades on the sa spot to wound it even further.
Zhang Qin Feng's side imdiately found their opportunity to deliver the killing blow the mont the monster was no longer capable of moving at that ridiculous speed.
"Fire! Fire everything you had! Blow this guy into pieces before it can continue to move!" Zhang Qin Feng ordered. He quickly pulled the older Centurion Rifle out to replace the Thunderbolt's useless charged bullet and keep the trigger on hold.
The recoil ca to him like he was operating a jackhamr. But it was worth it until the monster was preparing for a breath attack.
[Toot!]
[Danger! Danger!]
The warning from Stein made Zhang Qin Feng Quickly pull Satella as the two of them got out from the line of fire it could possibly reach.
**WHOOSH!**
The monster barfed a darker, sour gas as it narrowly missed Zhang Qin Feng and Satella. But the soldiers in the line of fire got it worst as they were lted by that attack.
