Chapter 247: Continue
"Is there sothing wrong?" Howard pays more attention to Carla Yu on top of him while he's on the phone with Alim Roanoke.
"I just heard from Giant about your plan with that brat. Let know if you want to punish for interrupting your grand sche. I won't have a word of complaint about what you're going to do." Alim Roanoke said on the phone.
From what he said, it seems that only Donald Mckenzie and Howard knew about what they had in store for Zhang Qin Feng. And since it wasn't revealed to the others, it was not weird for Alim Roanoke to hear nothing about this.
This indirectly justifies Alim Roanoke's anger when his partner, Lady, is captured by Hu-Guo-Jun while spying on the Tianhe Special Squadron's operation. Furthermore, the intimate relationship between him and Elisha Stone, Aka Lady, wasn't a secret amongst the mber of Horus Eye rcenary.
"What happened has happened. There's no point for us to talk about this. Instead, I want you to do sothing for . What do you think about bringing Elisha back to the office?" Howard asked.
"Boss… Are you joking? Elisha is in top-tier security holding." Alim Roanoke said. He was happy that he could rescue her but happy and sane is two different issues here.
"You can get Manchester to give you so help. Donald will assist you in making this operation a success. I will be seeing all of you in the HQ after this." Howard cut the call off after saying what he wanted without waiting for Alim Roanoke's reply.
(Reminder on the nas:)
-Alim Roanoke (Dagger)
-Donald Mckenzie (Giant)
-Elisha Stone (Lady)
-Manchester Patterson Smith (Joker)
-Howard Saachez Evergreen (Leader)
"Carla," Howard placed the phone aside and reached to both of her wrists. She seed to enjoy what she was getting from him to the point what he was talking on the phone sounded unimportant.
"Yes?" she responds to his call. There seems to be a hint of expectation in her eyes as she leans on Howard's chest. And for the next ten minutes, she was thoroughly brought into her climax as Howard fiercely ramd her with all his force.
When Howard was leaving the room by himself, Carla Yu was left lying on the bed. Were it not because her cheek was flushing red from all the arousal, she would be presud dead from the exciting intercourse.
"What a loss for having you taken out from the picture. But don't worry… I'll make good use of what you brought into the Tianhe Special Squadron." Howard smiled.

Zhang Qin Feng's current condition can be said to be isolated from the modern world. With no other ans to return, all he could do was search for a solution before going back.
"Are you much better now?" Satella asked.
"Yes, I am." Zhang Qin Feng answered. After sleeping for a night, he felt much better than before. His mood was about the sa while feeling worried regarding the modern world.
But getting stuck here has its privilege. The upgrade that has been postponing until now finally got the attention it was supposed to get.
"I'll be going to Victor's place for a while for now. I wanted to make so calibrating and adjustnts, so don't worry about . While I'm at it, can you do a favor and compile the information for ?" Zhang Qin Feng said.
"I will," Satella answered before she left Zhang Qin Feng outside of Victor's building.
Zhang Qin Feng thought he might as well go ahead with the Wind Base's developnt and expansion while he has the ti to focus in one place. Before this, his attention was distributed between the modern world and here.
Not knowing when he would have such a ti again, Zhang Qin Feng decided to put his all over here for now. He would have to put so effort here to allow the base to operate without requiring him to be present at all tis.
"Boss! Feel free to enter and use anything you need. If you have anything else, just let know." Victor said the mont he saw Zhang Qin Feng coming into the building.
"I'll keep that in mind." Zhang Qin Feng quietly entered the storage warehouse and locked himself inside. Taking a tour around the warehouse, the first thing he did was taking a hundred kilograms of gold out from his Dinsional Storage.
'What a joke. If I don't have this Dinsional Storage with , won't the gold all went to the bottom of the sea by now?' Zhang Qin Feng chuckled and proceeded to another shelf stacked with Duranium Shards.
Operating a base was the quickest way to amass a significant number of Duranium Shards. With a thousand shards in a box, more than thirty boxes are arranged neatly here for him to use. Furthermore, these shards here were purely extras after deducting their daily expenses.
But not returning to the modern world would also slowly create a burden to the base.
'Stein, are you there?' Zhang Qin Feng called the system for its attention.
[Toot…]
[The system is here for you, User]
'Let's catch up with what we've been missing so far. I believe it's ti we focus on ourselves.' Zhang Qin Feng said.
[There are indeed a few suggestions for the system's upgrade]
[The system has been waiting for this word to co out from the User. After everything that happened, the system suggests a complete makeover to enhance the system's performance]
[This estimation would take between 36 hours to complete, and a tailor-made new system would be available for the User. Would the User like to continue?]
Judging from Stein's reply, the system has been operating restrictively from the beginning until now. Perhaps his passiveness and also lack of determination were what keeping Stein from functioning smoothly.
Furthermore, due to the restriction over resources, the system had no choice but to operate on the lowest setting to conserve energy. This made the system's actual performance set into low-efficiency mode, thus creating many issues from the start until now.
But right now, resetting Stein back to its top performance is no longer a dream. Although the upgrade would have to go from one stage to another, it was much better than the beginning.
[Would the User like to continue?]
[Yes/No]
'Go ahead, Stein.' Zhang Qin Feng approved the request. Half of the Duranium Shards around him vanished in a flash, along with the boxes used to keep them together.
