"BAM!" the first tree blocked a third of the entrance used by the zombies. Two more heavy logs soon fell by the side and covered the tunnel completely.
Because a part of the tree was still attached to the stump, it indirectly kept them together from getting removed.
"Get rid of the remaining zombies!" Satella ordered. The gun blazed after her order as it turned the zombies into piles of rotten flesh on the ground.
"Keep it up! Don't quit halfway! If your hand is giving up, then use your leg to hold that damn gun!" she shouted. What she said turned into the motivation that gets them to struggle a little more.
Minutes passed, and at last, the zombies that were still moving around are finally wiped out.
"Feng!" Satella called for Zhang Qin Feng.
"Feng!!!" she raised her voice but received no reply back from where Zhang Qin Feng went. Feeling nervous about the silence, Satella dropped the Decimator Rocket Launcher that kept her encumbered and rushed towards where Zhang Qin Feng went.
By the ti she arrived at the three trunks of the fallen tree, Zhang Qin Feng was no longer there. There's not a single hint of battle, injuries, or an attack at all. He vanished just like how he usually cos and goes.
"Where have you been???" such a sudden change in the event made Satella worried.

She returned to the where everyone gathered about ten minutes later. Unsure of what to tell them, Satella was forced to lie to all of them, including Alex and Queenie.
"Feng found sothing and decided to take it on his own. All of us shall continue moving forward until we arrived at the second safe zone. We'll leave two n here in case Feng ca back and for communication purposes."
"Who's willing to be responsible for this?" She asked.

Two loyal soldiers raised their hands.
"Good. Do not hesitate to co to us if the number of zombies is increasing over here. Both of you shall take this position until soone cos and replaces you two at night. Your responsibility for staying here is to maintain communication if Feng cos back, not for battle, understood?" Satella added.
"We understand. Please move forward before us. We'll report back to the main group if there's anything happen here." the two soldiers hamred their chest while replying to Satella.
"Good. Then I'll leave this place to you both. Everyone else, follow !" Satella ordered.
The 35 remaining soldiers followed in her footsteps as they picked up their speed towards the second abandon building. If the estimation does not go off by too much, this place should be unoccupied by the zombies.

'What just happened, Stein?' Zhang Qin Feng asked.
He was still in confusion about what had happened earlier. When the third tree fell, a black shadow ca at him fiercely, just like what happened with Satella back in Turbine City.

The only thing it was missing was the zombies.
"How co such a big dump has no zombies at all? Don't tell that this monster ate all of them and turning them into nutrients?" he randomly guessed. Since he had nothing better to do here anyway, Zhang Qin Feng would instead start to inspect his surroundings and search for an exit.
He was lucky to have a few spare Atom Batteries in his hand. Using one to power the modified torchlight in his hand, Zhang Qin Feng added so illumination to this barely lit trash do.
