Chapter 121: Breakfast Before Golf
"We should start the mining rig with the lowest setting first." Zhang Qin Feng plugged the broadband cable available in the hotel room into the rig before moving on to the power supply point on the wall. With Stein working on the equipnt remotely, it was activated and running instantly once the power was turned on.
From the look of it, the operation was much smoother than when he was using it with the few Processing System Chip.
Pulling his smartphone out of the pocket, Zhang Qin Feng checked on the ti and realized it was already quite late on Friday afternoon. Since he will be joining Howard for a ga of golf, he naturally has to get a set of golf equipnt.
"Let's get a quick entry-level set from the nearby sports departntal store for tomorrow." Zhang Qin Feng smiled and changed into a new set of clothing before he left the hotel.
Since shopping wasn't one of his favorite thing to do in his free ti and neither shopping for golf equipnt, Zhang Qin Feng simply choose one with an average price. He had them deliver it to the hotel before leaving the shop empty-handed.
Moving on to the sportswear next, he grabbed himself a nice polo-tee and long trousers with a matching shoe. After grabbing everything he might need, Zhang Qin Feng headed to one of the food stores that caught his attention.
He ordered a few types of food to have a taste. So were up to his expectation, but so seem to clash with his palette. But he eventually finished them before returning to the hotel room to grab a proper rest.
Saturday morning.
Zhang Qin Feng returned from his usual morning practice and changed into what he bought yesterday before going down to the hotel's lobby.
But what he did not expect was Howard is even earlier than he does. It seems that this guy had so of his usual routines as well. Since the two had t by coincidence an hour before their golf appointnt, the hotel's breakfast lounge was naturally the best place to crash.
"Please, Wind. After you." Howard called Zhang Qin Feng's na casually.
"Thank you," Zhang Qin Feng accepted his offer and grabbed the seat across Howard. A waitress soon ca to their table to get their order.
"What do you think about this place? From the way you're dressed, you're not local, correct?" Howard asked. Looks like the way a person dress could really tell where they're from.
"I'm from Dongcheng. What about you?" Zhang Qin Feng answered. There's nothing to hide anyway. If Howard had sothing to plan on him, it would be pointless for him to deny the fact.
"I'm born in Horusian. But right now, I'm a permanent resident here in Han Country. So… What kind of work you're doing, if you don't mind asking?" Howard replied.
"Retail and Storage. But I'm in Digital Currency Mining right now. Let's hope that it's going to work out." Zhang Qin Feng replied.
"Oh? Did you try the Digital Currency trade as well? So what are you, a miner or a trader?" Howard seems to be very interested in this topic. His eyes seem to be blinking the mont he found the sa interest between them.
"I'm a miner. What about you, Howard? Soone as busy as you won't have ti to mine slowly, I guess?" Zhang Qin Feng chuckled. By the ti he finished his sentence, the breakfast they order finally arrived at the table.
They continued with their conversation for a little more before two other young entrepreneurs joined their table. From the look of it, it was arranged for a purpose because both of them were females.
"Let introduce you. This is Carla Yu, the director for Carla Surgery and Costics. She's a friend of mine since I ca to this Han Country five years ago." Howard introduces Zhang Qin Feng to the one seated beside him first.
It was also much proper because Carla Yu seems to be a year or two older than Zhang Qin Feng and the other guest beside Zhang Qin Feng.
She had short hair, about the length of her shoulder. Based on her body proportion, she's likely soone athletic, judging from how tone in her abs is shown and paired with black leggings. As for her facial feature, she was like sculpted from the butter.
Beautiful, successful, and fit. Without Howard, perhaps Zhang Qin Feng would be intimidated before approaching her and introduce himself.
"Just call Carla. It was nice to et you, Mr. Zhang." she extends her hand out. Zhang Qin Feng gave her a handshake while enjoying how smooth is her skin.
"And this is…" Howard was going to introduce the other one to Zhang Qin Feng, but he was interrupted before he did.
"I'll introduce myself!" she said. Pulling her hair together and bundling it into a ponytail hairstyle, she started with her self-introduction.
"I'm Jun Minji. Do you know ?" her introduction was a little weird. Feeling like he was getting tested with his knowledge, Zhang Qin Feng quickly brainstorms for an answer before he embarrassed himself.
But as he was almost giving up, a bus outside ended up giving him the answer he's looking for.
On the advertisent board were Jun Minji's photo, along with a sexy dress.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Jun. I just arrived here in Xiyang City, so I don't know who you really are. But if I were to guess… You must be the boss of the public bus company?" Zhang Qin Feng purposely cracks a joke while pointing at the busses outside with Jun Minji's poster on it.
"You!" Jun Minji was angry. But at the sa ti, she couldn't help but holding herself from laughing because she's indeed on the advertisent board of all the busses. Furthermore, each of them had her in different dresses or dinner gowns.
"It seems that your friend is nothing good, just like you, Howard…" Jun Minji turned to Howard and pointed her index finger at him.
"I'm a supermodel, you anie!" Jun Minji pouted and said.
