Earlier, he had gone through considerable effort to gather just over one hundred thousand Killing Points. He had slaughtered countless participants, repeatedly fard lives from demons, and wiped out an entire battlefield region.

Yet all of that combined was only a fraction of what the Combat Hall offered for ten consecutive victories. Suddenly, the prices inside the Divine Ability Pavilion no longer seed completely impossible.

If soone possessed enough strength and enough luck, they could theoretically earn trendous amounts of Killing Points within a relatively short period of ti.

However, as Max continued listening, he soon discovered why the rewards were so generous.

There was a catch.

A very dangerous catch.

The Combat Hall was not a place where participants could safely accumulate rewards over ti. Instead, it was a place where fortunes could change hands in an instant.

Every Killing Point earned during a challenge sequence remained at risk until the participant either completed all ten victories or voluntarily withdrew.

If soone lost before reaching ten victories, then all the Killing Points they had accumulated throughout their challenge would imdiately transfer to the person who defeated them.

In other words, a participant could spend hours fighting their way through multiple opponents, accumulate a large amount of Killing Points, and then lose everything in a single battle.

The winner would take it all.

Because of this rule, every match beca increasingly valuable as a participant's winning streak grew longer. Soone who had already won seven or eight consecutive battles would often beco a walking treasure chest worth hundreds of thousands of Killing Points.

The stronger they beca and the closer they moved toward the one-million-point reward, the more attractive they beca as targets for other participants hoping to claim everything they had earned.

As Max listened to the explanations and watched the excited crowds surrounding the various arenas, he finally understood why the Combat Hall had beco so popular. The system was incredibly risky, yet at the sa ti it was impossible to ignore.

The possibility of earning one million Killing Points from a single challenge was enough to attract countless geniuses. Every participant believed they could be the next person to achieve ten consecutive victories. Every participant believed they possessed the strength to succeed where others had failed.

Naturally, that confidence continuously drove people into the arenas despite knowing the risks involved.

The Combat Hall had essentially transford combat itself into a form of gambling. Participants wagered their strength, their confidence, and their accumulated Killing Points every ti they entered an arena.

So erged richer than ever before. Others lost everything they had spent hours or even days earning. Yet despite those dangers, the crowds only continued growing larger. The promise of rapid wealth and glory was simply too tempting for most participants to resist.

Standing amidst the sea of people, Max slowly looked toward the enormous battle arenas located at the center of the Combat Hall. As countless participants cheered, fought, and challenged one another around him, a faint smile gradually appeared on his face.

Compared to wandering the Eternal Hourglass searching for opportunities one by one, this place seed far more efficient.

If the rewards truly matched what he had heard, then perhaps the Combat Hall would beco the fastest path toward accumulating the five hundred thousand Killing Points he needed for the Genesis Trial.

With very high expectations, Max made his way through the bustling crowds toward the registration area of the Combat Hall. The place was even busier than the rest of the building.

Thousands of participants continuously moved back and forth while enormous crystal screens displayed rankings, active challengers, ongoing battles, and the amounts of Killing Points currently at stake.

Excited cheers erupted from nearby arenas every few monts while countless spectators discussed the strengths and weaknesses of different fighters. The entire atmosphere felt charged with anticipation and greed. Here, fortunes could be won in a matter of minutes, and everyone wanted a piece of it.

Eventually, Max arrived before a long registration counter. However, what caught his attention was not the counter itself but the creature sitting behind it.

It was a strange animal unlike anything Max had ever seen before.

The creature resembled a fox and a rabbit combined together. It possessed silver fur, long ears, bright golden eyes, and a fluffy tail that lazily swayed behind it. It sat atop a floating chair while casually reading through countless glowing screens hovering before it.

Despite its small appearance, Max could sense a strange pressure coming from the creature, making it clear that it was far from ordinary.

The mont Max approached the counter, the strange animal did not even look up.

Instead, it lazily spoke.

"Na."

Max raised an eyebrow slightly before replying.

"Max Morgan."

The creature's ears twitched.

Imdiately, several glowing runes appeared before it as though searching through so enormous database.

A few monts later, the strange animal finally looked up.

Its golden eyes briefly examined Max from head to toe.

Then it nodded.

"Registration successful."

Several glowing symbols appeared before Max before quickly disappearing.

The creature continued speaking in a calm and practiced tone.

"You are now officially registered within the Combat Hall. As a registered participant, you have two options available to you."

Max listened attentively.

The strange animal flicked its tail before continuing.

"The first option is to challenge an active participant currently undergoing the Ten Consecutive Victory Trial. If you defeat them, you imdiately inherit all the Killing Points they have accumulated during their current challenge sequence."

At those words, Max's eyes imdiately brightened.

That sounded very profitable.

The creature continued.

"The second option is to begin your own Ten Consecutive Victory Trial. In that case, you will be placed into the queue and wait for your turn. Once selected, you will begin fighting consecutive opponents. Every victory increases your accumulated rewards. Successfully reaching ten consecutive victories grants you the one million Killing Point bonus."

The creature then leaned back in its floating chair.

"Both thods have advantages and disadvantages. Challenging active participants can be extrely rewarding if you target soone with a large accumulated pool of Killing Points. However, such opponents are usually very strong. Starting your own trial is safer, but it requires winning ten consecutive battles."

The strange animal then looked directly at Max.

"So, Max Morgan."

Its golden eyes flashed slightly.

"Would you like to challenge soone currently fighting, or would you like to enter the queue and begin your own Ten Consecutive Victory Trial?"
