With a strange screech, the space-ti tunnel suddenly collapsed and shattered, with the last few strands of spider silk breaking off in the air. Erin rolled several tis on the ground until Luna picked her up casually.

In the thin mist lingered the pungent sll of high-energy weapons burning the air. Yu Sheng riding the Fox Tail charged into the tunnel; the last flash seed still imprinted on the retina. The fox girl in Great Demon Fox form looked across the street at the mist re-gathering there. She suddenly sniffed, clawed the ground twice with her front paws, and shook her head, as big as a three-wheel: "Savior successfully infiltrated the enemy!"

"Not sure if he’ll co back for dinner tonight..." Erin, dangling in the air, started to mutter, suddenly looking up at Luna, "Type C hook, put down!"

Zheng Zhi, anwhile, was still dazed, the events of the last mont being rather overwhelming for him. He stared blankly into the distance, finally reacting after several seconds, turning to Erin: "Brother Yu will be okay, right?"

Erin frowned, folded her arms, stood sensing for a mont, then waved reassuringly: "He’s fine, still hanging on by a thread right now."

Zheng Zhi was stunned, looking up at the others, but before he could speak, Hu Li sighed: "You’ll get used to it; her education level is just like that."

Zheng Zhi: "..."

...

Actually, Erin wasn’t wrong.

Yu Sheng was indeed still alive shortly after passing through the tunnel.

In a remote deep space orbital laboratory, a fully-ard security force was on high alert.

The air was filled with a pungent scorched sll, the purification system striving to vent the toxic smoke in the hall. The warning sounds from device malfunctions rang nerve-wrackingly loud, pipes around the research platform sparked, and smoke rose from the remains of the rift generator.

Soldiers surrounded the invader who flew from the rift’s other side—a huge furry Fox Tail emitting steam, curled among a pile of equipnt debris beside the anti-gravity platform. The Fox Tail itself rapidly disintegrating in the air, while the man with over a hundred bullet wounds leaned on a twisted mass of steel, blood covering the ground.

The next second, the "corpse" twitched suddenly.

Under the horrified gaze of the Black Spot Commander on-site, Yu Sheng leaned on a piece of steel to stand. He shook his sowhat deceased body, glanced down at the dissipating Fox Tail—Hu Li’s tail had, after breaking into the lab, refrained from exploding to extend Yu Sheng’s stay "on this side," instead using its remaining spiritual power to form a barrier, shielding Yu Sheng from the deadliest shots.

...Of course, the other hundred-odd bullets not shielded were quite deadly too, but those were minor issues.

Yu Sheng raised his head, looking at the Black Dot Group soldiers ahead, grinning a warmly terminal smile, seemingly oblivious to the guns pointed at him, and stepped forward to shake hands: "Great effort, everyone, great effort, well fought just now... Ah, no need to panic, I’ll be leaving shortly..."

Yu Sheng’s attitude was genuine, considering the amazing scene when he ca and the considerable surrounding destruction. His sincerity in thanking the soldiers was rather heartfelt; he was clueless about any customs in Algerde, but imagined this to be terminal care—of course, better not ask whose terminal care.

Yet in the next second, his ring of encirclent instantly "whoosh" retreated a re distance; even the extraordinarily resilient Black Spot soldiers, indifferent to life and death, were stunned, except the commander who was slightly more composed, quickly realizing this bizarre invader might be an extrely valuable "research sample," and imdiately shouted: "Capture alive!"

Yu Sheng spread his hands: "That’s a bit difficult."

Then imdiately, he died.

The surrounding Black Spot soldiers were swarming forward, only to see the invader collapsing face-up halfway, stunned for the second ti on the spot, all glancing at each other cluelessly as to what to do next, eventually all eyes fell on the commander on-site.

The commander hesitated too, showing no expression beneath his all-covering helt. In two or three seconds, he gestured: "...Check it."

Thus, a brave Black Spot soldier approached Yu Sheng—carefully avoiding the almost entirely dissipated Fox Tail, nudged the invader’s corpse with a gun muzzle, and then crouched for detailed inspection, raising his head to report: "Sir, the invader is dead."

Under his mask, the commander tightened his lips.

Indeed, it looked dead—but the issue was the invader should have been dead upon landing.

The jarring device alerts prevented further thinking. Black Spot Commander raised his head, surveying the lab’s current state—the rift generator in the hall corner was destroyed, equipnt directly connected to the central research platform was severely damaged during the forced "disconnection," coupled with reckless shooting and destruction by that group... weirdos on the tunnel’s far end when the rift opened, leaving the lab in utter chaos.

The only good news was that the core area of the laboratory was covered by a powerful force field shield and was not damaged in the recent battle. The barrier device used to confine the "Black Stone" also appeared to still be operational—otherwise, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

For a mont just now, he had even considered detonating the nuclear bomb buried beneath the laboratory.

——A fusion bomb is a primitive and inexpensive weapon, but it has always perford reliably when it’s ti for an "ergency shutdown" of a laboratory that’s gone out of control.

"Clean up here and send the bodies to the dical pod for the experts over there to take a look," the Commander breathed out and calmly gave orders, "Also, inform the engineering departnt to co over and quickly resolve these annoying alarm sounds... Where are the researchers who just evacuated? Notify them that the laboratory is now safe."

The soldiers imdiately began to execute the orders. Two of them soon found stretchers and body bags, skillfully packing up the invaders’ bodies. One of them, while closing the zipper of the body bag, still felt unsure and checked again, muttering in confusion, "...The heart evaporated, how did this guy stand up and talk just now?"

"I don’t know, but it’s best not to be too curious," said the other in a low voice, with a tone of caution, "The world is full of things that look human but are indescribable inside—curiosity is the gateway that leads them into the material world. Such matters are better left to more professional scientists."

"Sir," another soldier arrived in front of the Black Dot Commander at the scene, saluted, and said with a tone of seriousness, "’The boss’ already knows about the incident here, she is on her way from the ’Weaving Constellation’ and will arrive soon."

"Got it," the Commander sighed, clearly not in a good mood, "Prepare to welco her."

One laboratory accident after another, and this ti there was a mysterious invading organism, although the mishap with the breach generator losing control wasn’t his responsibility as a "non-technical staff," it was clear that the "invader" was now the biggest problem.

...Maybe it would have been better to directly detonate the nuclear bomb just now?

...

At the sa ti, Boundary City, deep within the "Dark Alley" of the Exotic Realm.

A fully ard Deep Dive Team and several technicians were carefully handling the "silver-white device" standing at the crossroads.

In the alley under the dusk sky, wisps of black Spider Silk still draped over the buildings above, yet compared to the situation previously reported by the "travel agency," the erosion of webs here had visibly receded significantly.

Since the rift at the crossroads of the Dark Alley was forcibly closed last ti, the "Spider Silk" that invaded here seed to have been impacted to so degree, and most of the webs that blocked the road had now disappeared—for the Special Service Bureau personnel undertaking this mission, this was good news.

The technical experts were gingerly dismantling the exterior of the silver-white cylinder.

They still couldn’t determine exactly what this device was, nor what purpose the technical madn of the Black Dot Group had in "transmitting" this device to this Exotic Realm—it could be a beacon, a container for spreading contamination, or simply a prototype for so larger-scale "invasion plan," but in any case, its arrival inevitably signaled a conspiracy in the making.

The Black Dot Group had a heap of black technologies in their possession, and more notable than those technologies were the madn’s unscrupulous thods to achieve their goals.

The complex locking device was finally safely released, and an opening was made in the unknown alloy casting of the device’s shell, while a protective panel was carefully removed by the technicians.

Two deep divers approached the device, deploying their Power Armor shields to protect the engineers conducting the dismantling operations, while curiously peering into the interior of the container.

Inside were intricate pipelines and what looked like a cage-like structure functioning as a restraint, and within the cage-like structure was a seemingly inconspicuous silver-white cylindrical object.

One engineer stared at the thing for a while, suddenly expressing a puzzled sound: "Hmm?"

The nearby deep diver imdiately asked, "Have you figured out what this is?"

"...If I’m not mistaken," the engineer scratched his head, "it looks like a bomb."

At these words, there was an imdiate gasp among those present, and the protective force fields of several deep divers "buzzed" to maximum strength as they prepared to drag the nearest technicians to safety, but the next second the engineer waved his hand: "Don’t panic, don’t panic, it can’t explode—if it could, it would have already done so. Let take another look..."

With that, he leaned in again to study it carefully, suddenly clapping his hands: "Oh! It’s a KK-I type fusion bomb."
