The temple lood ahead, its towering stone pillars cracked with age, yet standing defiantly against the unstable realm. Shadows slithered along its base, shifting unnaturally as if alive. The mont Dabi and his team crossed the threshold and reach the temple area, the ground behind them cracks as they will be swallowed by the abyss. There was no turning back now.

Zen panted. "Okay... so, uh… new rule: no looking back." This looks like a waring. But we have to move forward. When we beat the enemy... Let's just take so photos with the monster or whatever will be our enemy.

Jeni ignored his joke, her gaze locked on the darkness curling around the temple's walls. "Sothing's there. I can feel it."

Kiba's grip tightened. "No kidding." We all can fell sothing is there. The real question is. What is that thing? How strong? How do we defeat it?

Suddenly a familiar sound cos in Dabis mind. System notifications was off since the war with the warlords. He turn it on just now. And there wasn't any mission given by the system since then.

After checking his current status. Dabi could feel it. A pressure. A presence. Not like the monsters they had fought. This was sothing much worse.

"Don't stop moving!" Dabi says to his team, leading the charge. We will clear this hundred years old dinsion gate.

The old temple ahead was their only landmark in this twisted landscape. Jagged rock formations floated in the air, shifting unpredictably, and deep fissures of golden energy split the ground. The entire realm felt unstable, as if it was stitched together by sothing unnatural.

As they closed the distance, a pulse of energy surged through the air.

Then— BOOM!

A wall of shadows erupted in front of them, cutting off their path. A deafening screech followed as the ground twisted, forcing them to a halt.

Dabi's eyes snapped upward. From the darkness, figures erged. Not the mindless husks they had fought before—these were different.

Humanoid but monstrous, their bodies layered in black crystalline armor that pulsed with an eerie glow. Their movents were fluid, unnatural, yet their stance was unmistakable.

They were the people who entered this gate in past hundred years to find treasure. Now they have beco this monstrous things. Their body is eaten by the black crystalline armour. They beco one with it. And they were here to kill Dabi and his team.

Zen exhaled sharply, drawing his dual swords. "Finally, sothing worth cutting."

Jeni's breath was visible in the air as frost gathered around her hands. "They feel… different."

Kiba flexed his fists, his aura rippling with water energy. "Stronger than before. Be careful."

Althea's eyes narrowed. "They have a battle stance. They're not mindless."

Dabi stepped forward, his gaze locked onto the approaching enemies. "We don't have ti for a drawn- out fight. We cut through them and reach the temple."

The warriors moved. The first one lunged straight at Zen, faster than the creatures from before. Zen barely managed to sidestep, his twin swords flashing as he slashed across its midsection. The impact sent sparks flying, but the warrior barely staggered.

"Shit—this one's tough!" Zen gritted his teeth as he twisted, deflecting a counterattack.

Kiba roared, slamming his fist into the ground. A wave of water surged forward, knocking two warriors off their feet. But before he could capitalize, one of them flipped midair, twisting unnaturally and landing without a scratch.

"They're adapting!" Althea warned as she weaved between strikes, glowing runes flashing around her as she sent bursts of healing energy toward the team. She says, they look like undead monster. My healing might damage them.

Jeni clenched her fists, forming razor-sharp ice daggers between her fingers. "Let's see how they handle this!"

She vanished. In an instant, she reappeared behind one of the warriors, slashing across its back with a flurry of icy strikes. The warrior staggered, but instead of falling, its body absorbed the ice—twisting the frost into its own form.

Jeni's eyes widened. "It—It's using my ice?!"

The creature's arm morphed into a jagged icicle and shot toward her.

Dabi reacted.

Space rippled. Jeni's body flickered, vanishing an instant before the attack hit. She reappeared beside Dabi, breathing heavily.

Dabi exhaled. Teleportation worked.

But he couldn't afford to be careless. If these things could adapt, they had to finish this quickly.

"Target their heads," Dabi ordered.

Zen smirked. "That, I can do."

He blurred forward, his swords flashing in a precise arc. This ti, he struck directly at the warrior's head. The blade pierced through, and for a mont, the creature froze—before shattering like glass.

"That's the weak point!" Zen confird.

Kiba grinned. "Then let's break them!"

Jeni launched shards of ice, forcing the warriors into unfavorable positions. Kiba crushed them with overwhelming force, his water techniques disrupting their movent. Zen moved like a storm, his dual blades carving through them with relentless precision.

Althea stayed mobile, her energy pulses keeping everyone at peak condition.

Dabi, however— He moved differently. He didn't just fight. He controlled.

Space bent around him, distorting the battlefield. His punches didn't just hit; they bypassed defenses entirely, striking directly at the core of the enemy's being. When a warrior attempted to counter, its arm twisted mid-air, its attack redirected into one of its allies. "He was rewriting the battle itself."

The warriors faltered. One by one, they fell—until only silence remained.

Dabi exhaled, scanning the battlefield. Shattered remains of the warriors littered the ground, dissolving into nothingness.

Zen wiped his swords clean. "Alright. That was fun."

Jeni shook her head. "Your definition of fun is broken."

Kiba cracked his neck. "No ti to celebrate. The temple's right ahead."

Althea frowned. "Sothing feels… off."

Dabi felt it too.

The temple. It was calling to them. Not in words, not in sound—but sothing deeper. A pulse that resonated within his very being.

"Let's move," Dabi said.

The team pushed forward, stepping onto the temple grounds. The structure was massive, made of obsidian stone and inscribed with runes glowing faintly in the darkness. Pillars lined the entrance, and beyond them— A massive door. Ancient. Imposing. And covered in symbols that seed to shift when no one was looking.

Kiba stared at it. "So… anyone know how to open this?"

Zen knocked on the surface. "Hello? Evil god inside?"

Jeni sighed. "Idiot brother." Stop your la jokes.

Dabi stepped forward. The mont his hand touched the door— The world shattered.

For an instant, everything went black. Then—

They weren't in the temple anymore.

When their vision cleared, they were standing in a vast, open field. The sky above was blood-red, the ground cracked and scorched.

And across the horizon— Thousands of figures stood in absolute silence.

More warriors. More monsters. A battlefield waiting for their arrival.

Zen exhaled. "I hate this place."

Jeni swallowed hard. "That's… a lot."

Kiba rolled his shoulders. "We just killed a dozen. What's a few hundred more?"

Althea shook her head. "This isn't just a fight. This is a war."

Dabi narrowed his eyes. They weren't getting out of this easily. The temple wasn't just a sanctuary. "It was a trial."

And this was only the beginning. The battle for survival had begun. Who will be victorious is hard to say.
