The four Judgnt Forces mbers were equally shocked.

"Miscalculation—their connection to shadows is too strong. The spatial barrier couldn’t stop them."

"Damn it, it’s all because of this old bastard that we got distracted and let those two monsters escape!"

So the four imdiately used their strongest techniques to surround and attack the panicked rcury Archbishop.

"You guys!"

The rcury Archbishop wanted to cry. Nobody could have imagined that just making a deal with a small western border country would first run into two monsters that wouldn’t listen to reason, then get ambushed by the Judgnt Forces.

This made him wonder if everything he’d encountered was so kind of trap.

...

The battle ended quickly. The rcury Archbishop had already been heavily drained from fighting the Shadow Twins, and now four sa-level powerhouses were ganging up on him.

He didn’t last long before getting beaten half to death.

He didn’t even get to say his last words before the fiery woman breathed out flas that burned him and his rcury to ash.

And so, the rcury Archbishop bit the dust!

...

A few days later, everything that happened in Dotruu Kingdom got reported to the Human Supre Council.

The Human Supre Council handed down judgnt, abolishing the Dotruu nobles’ right to rule.

From now on, Dotruu Kingdom would have a Disciplinary Office established and be directly managed by the Human Supre Council.

After learning this intel, the Dotruu nobles led by Sword Saint Levi all regretted it deeply.

If they’d known the Human Supre Council’s Judgnt Forces were coming early, they would have stood with the Royal Capital to the end no matter what.

But it was too late—they’d completely lost their noble status...

...

...

In the First Dark Mist Layer, Ginya led a large group of Psionics back—nearly a thousand of them. This ant the nobles of Ember City had really bought into Carlos and decided to join him.

With supervisors in place, the supporting Lulu monsters were quickly herded over from all directions by the Black Knights.

"Purple Vortex, you lead eleven Purple Thornblade Black Knights and handle the first, fourth, and fifth fortresses!"

"Roar!"

"Red Spirit, you lead eleven Redrose Black Knights and handle the second, sixth, and seventh fortresses!"

"Wah!"

"Ginya, you lead eleven Tulip Black Knights and handle the third, eighth, and ninth fortresses!"

"Got it!"

With enough manpower, Carlos naturally wanted to start construction on multiple fronts.

One Retainer per completed fortress, two fortresses not yet started—perfectly fair.

With Retainers leading Black Knights to clear monsters, vassals managing the Psionics, and Psionics supervising the Lulu monsters.

Soon, nine great fortresses would stand on the ice fields.

Just then, Blood Silver, who’d been waiting there obediently for assignnt, still hadn’t heard mommy’s instructions and made a confused sound.

"Moo?"

Of course Carlos hadn’t forgotten this newborn Retainer.

"Blood Silver, you’re coming with on a trip. We need to get a critically important lost artifact."

Blood Silver wasn’t like the other three Retainers whose minds were maturing daily—it was still in a naive stage. Carlos didn’t dare let it act alone.

Not because he was worried about its safety, but because he was worried about other people’s safety.

"Moo!"

Hearing they were going out, Blood Silver was pumped.

It had gotten so sick of staying in this icy environnt every day.

"Roar?"

"Wah?"

"Master~~"

But the other three Retainers weren’t happy about it—they felt all sour inside.

They didn’t care about the environnt—they just thought this newborn Retainer was getting special treatnt for no reason.

Carlos’s mouth twitched. He casually ordered Blood Silver to go patrol, then said to the three Retainers:

"The fortress matter is critically important to .

Blood Silver’s mind is still shallow—I really can’t trust it with this.

Only with you three in charge can I feel at ease doing other things."

Carlos spoke sincerely, warming the Retainers’ hearts. They got all fuzzy and let the matter go.

It wasn’t until Carlos left with Blood Silver and a bunch of Silver Sword Orchid Black Knights that Ginya among them started to figure it out.

"Sigh, Master."

Ginya looked at the two enthusiastic idiots beside her, feeling both helpless and thankful.

Helpless that her companions were too simple—easily fooled by a few words from Master.

Thankful that they were too simple—when it ca to wisdom, she definitely had a huge advantage.

Suddenly, Purple Vortex and Red Spirit both looked at Ginya at the sa ti, seeming to wonder why her reaction was different.

Ginya smiled awkwardly and quickly said:

"I’m heading out first."

Watching Ginya lead her group away, Purple Vortex and Red Spirit looked at each other and felt a surge of fighting spirit.

This ti, let’s see who completes Master’s task first!

Roar!

Wah!

Not to be outdone, they quickly urged their respective teams to set out.

...

In the Material Realm:

"Warm sunshine, fresh air—this is the world people should live in."

Carlos sat lazily in the carriage, admiring the roadside scenery through the curtains.

Blood Silver got off to play, looking here and there, sotis picking wildflowers and blowing on them constantly.

Several Silver Sword Orchid Black Knights guarded the surroundings as Carlos settled down to think about their destination—a certain island in the mysterious eastern seas.

"Official records show that one of the nine Lost Vessels, the Eternal Cube, is sleeping there."

Lost Vessels—legendary mysterious vessels forged by so great being. Each one had all kinds of incredible powers.

They once shone brightly in the long river of ti, and their holders often started entirely new epics.

But the magical abilities of the Lost Vessels were secondary.

Carlos sought them because each one contained extrely vast Psionic Energy.

Using them as cores would be enough to build super-large Arcane arrays.

The future Northern Wall was itself composed of various super-large Arcane arrays forming a magnificent defensive Arcane array.

In Carlos’s vision, each of the nine fortresses would use a Lost Vessel as its core to build super-large Arcane arrays, further strengthening their defensive capabilities. Only this way could they be solid as rock and avoid getting breached by weird abilities.

...

They reached the seaside where waves rolled and seabirds occasionally landed.

The Eastern Islands—this was one of the entrances to the eastern seas.

Carlos had a thought, and a large ship descended from the sky, landing on the sea surface. The hull was long and narrow with multiple oar holes carved on each side.

Boarding the ship, Carlos quickly summoned ten Silver Sword Orchid Black Knights and ordered them to line up on both sides to row.

Bang!

As the Black Knights pulled in perfect unison, the ship shot out like a sharp sword, leaving a long white trail on the sea surface that scattered fish and made seabirds cry out.

At the bow deck, Carlos half-lay on a lounge chair, peeling a purple grape fruit and popping it in his mouth.

Because of the high speed, wind roared in his ears.

"At this speed, it won’t be long before we reach the whirlpool entrance to that mysterious sea area."
