The mont the giant bone platform ford, thick necromantic energy erupted.

Root-like networked white bones rose from the "arena’s" edges, sealing the platform completely.

Only the side of the bone arena facing the two retainers suddenly split open.

"Crack crack!"

Bone spikes wove together, forming a small bone gateway topped with a pitch-black skull.

In its hollow eye sockets, green soul fire danced, as if rolling out the red carpet for the two retainers.

"This is a Bone Colosseum!"

Such a distinctive sight imdiately let Carlos ID its origin.

Bone Colosseum—

Popular back in the day, only necromantic archmages could build this type of necromantic setup.

With the Necromantic Tower as its heart and countless bones as foundation,

condensing massive necromantic energy, carving countless complex runes,

requiring serious elbow grease to construct.

It was one of the top-shelf necromantic installations, with necromantic energy forming its own cycle, perfectly integrated.

With skeletal legions inside and Gray Spirit Monsters howling outside, combining suppression and elimination, defending like Fort Knox.

Though Carlos had figured this journey wouldn’t be a walk in the park,

when the Bone Colosseum actually showed up, he still found it a pain in the ass.

"Fortunately, the master of this ruin—that necromantic archmage skilled in alchemy—

didn’t intentionally create this ruin for his heirs, but ran into powerful enemies outside and bit the dust.

His crib was affected by spatial weirdness by coincidence, accidentally forming this ruin."

Ruins mainly fell into three flavors.

One type was ancient powerhouses deliberately slicing space for inheritance or as backup plans, waiting to be discovered by later generations.

Another type was core buildings of ancient major powers,

often composite top-tier installations with incredible concealnt and defense, able to resist ti’s beat-down and survive to the present.

The third type

was coincidentally caught in sudden spatial shake-ups and passively swept in.

This necromantic ruin was the last type.

In a sense, this was good news, especially for Carlos at this mont.

Ancient necromantic archmages cultivated death energy, inevitably getting their bodies and minds corrupted by it.

If not brutally cruel, cold indifference was par for the course.

If intentionally left for heirs, Carlos should consider finding another spot—who knew what vicious tricks might be waiting.

"According to intel from related missions in my previous life,

that necromantic archmage got lured away and ganged up on by enemies,

dying in a hurry with his soul destroyed, leaving only a wraith wandering in so Spirit Realm region."

Under ti’s beat-down,

the simple backup plans the necromantic archmage left in the Bone Colosseum before getting lured away had long been worn away.

Now, the Bone Colosseum’s revival was just instinct—extrely rigid.

Though its firepower was impressive and Carlos found it sowhat troubleso, he actually wasn’t sweating it much.

Without the necromantic archmage running the show, the Bone Colosseum couldn’t display even one-tenth of its juice.

"Wonder what skeletal nasties will be inside the Bone Colosseum."

Carlos recalled ancient necromantic masters’ thods, which differed big ti from today’s Death Heralds.

...

"This type of top-shelf installation provides crazy high combat bonuses to friendly forces—can’t just waltz in."

Though the Bone Colosseum lacked a necromantic master’s control,

entering unprepared like this

would be like voluntarily walking into a lion’s den, facing the worst possible situation.

Carlos knew it inside and out, naturally wouldn’t make such a rookie mistake.

He commanded Purple Vortex to fly a circle around the Bone Colosseum.

As his vision shifted,

from top to bottom, carefully eyeballing the bone spike walls of the Bone Colosseum’s outer layer...

Staring hard until Purple Vortex reached the back-left area of the Bone Colosseum.

A flash of excitent appeared in Carlos’s eyes.

"Jackpot!"

On the bone wall ford by those bone-white spikes,

one bone spike was particularly deep in color, radiating ice-cold vibes.

This special bone spike was the core of the Bone Colosseum’s outer formation!

Just trash it, and the Bone Colosseum’s outer formation would automatically collapse, seriously reducing its power.

If normal smarts controlled the Bone Colosseum, this bone spike would never be exposed.

Unfortunately, it was now a dead object with nobody at the wheel.

He imdiately barked:

"Stop! Wreck it!"

After hearing his master’s command,

without hesitation, without considering why,

Purple Vortex imdiately drew the purple-striped greatsword from its back, swinging its thick arm to chop down at that special bone spike!

"Boom!"

The sharp purple-striped greatsword collided with the special bone spike, making a clanging sound.

For a mont, they were locked in a stalemate, stirring up shock waves.

"Roar!"

Purple Vortex suddenly put the pedal to the tal, Dark Purple Force Field condensing for enhancent, power dramatically increasing.

This special bone spike began unable to withstand Purple Vortex’s trendous force,

making creaking sounds.

Suddenly,

a crisp breaking sound—a crack appeared on the bone spike.

This was just the opening act...

With the first crack, soon ca the second, third...

After several breaths, spider web cracks covered the special bone spike.

As if the next second,

the Bone Colosseum’s outer formation core would shatter.

But even covered in cracks, this special bone spike still held its ground, rooted underground, frantically sucking up necromantic energy and constantly patching itself.

Seeing this,

Carlos signaled for his other retainer to get in on the action.

"Ginya!"

"On it!"

The withered yellow figure appeared on the other side of the special bone spike.

Ginya gripped her greatsword,

spiritual power surging, the tulip patterns on the sword lighting up one by one.

The power called withering wrapped around the blade, seriously dangerous.

"Bang!"

Unstoppable sword light flashed.

The sharp greatsword struck directly at the special bone spike’s base.

At this mont, most of the special bone spike’s juice concentrated on its upper section, wrestling with Purple Vortex.

The base was undoubtedly wide open.

Ginya’s sudden powerful attack, without any surprise, sliced through the special bone spike’s base with a crack.

"Bang!"

This special bone spike instantly shattered, scattering into countless small ice crystals of dark color that lted upon hitting the ground.

The mont the special bone spike bit the dust,

the cold, grand outer bone walls of the Bone Colosseum

suddenly began shaking.

The formation core’s destruction caused serious instability in the entire outer layer.

The originally fused frigid bone spike branches, without the formation keeping them in line, could no longer maintain harmony.

Fusion points frequently broke, branches interlocked, devouring and attacking each other, growing like weeds, rising from the ground.

Making the Bone Colosseum’s outer layer more chaotic, further trashed...

Thirty feet, sixty feet... several frigid bone spikes constantly devoured surrounding kin, growing faster and expanding, quickly breaking through the Bone Colosseum’s constraints.

When they reached maximum growth,

these towering bone spikes... no, perhaps calling them bone trees was more on the money.
