"Run fast!"

"The elevator to the 15th floor takes 20 seconds to get down!"

"We don’t have ti. If they surround us, we're dead!"

Skull Head grabbed Lin Xu's arm and sprinted wildly toward the office exit. Lin Xu tried to break free but found the other's grip as strong as steel claws.

Damn it.

Don’t drag along when you run!

You’re scared of getting killed by the anti-terror quick reaction force, but I’m not!

If I jump down the stairs, this round is over!

Lin Xu desperately struggled to break free, but Skull Head interpreted his movents as “panicking and trying to run off” and only tightened his grip.

Helpless, Lin Xu had no choice but to follow his pace. When they reached the elevator, the doors opened just in ti.

Just as Skull Head predicted, the elevator had taken exactly 20 seconds to reach the first floor.

"Block them! Buy us 30 seconds!"

"We’re almost at the evacuation point!"

At the sa ti, outside the park, rcenaries who had received Skull Head’s orders had already begun engaging with the quick reaction force.

Skull Head quickened his pace again, with Lin Xu right behind him.

Gunfire roared, and Lin Xu experienced for the first ti in 20 years what it felt like to fight a "regular army."

What?

A gunfight?!

Who said we’re having a gunfight?

The mont the first gunshot rang out, electromagnetic shielding was activated.

Far more advanced electronic warfare equipnt than the rcenaries’ jamrs was switched on hundreds of ters away. Under powerful directional interference, the rcenaries quickly lost their radio signals essential for communication.

The earpiece was filled with static noise. Skull Head cursed angrily:

"Damn it, no signal!"

"It’s okay, almost there!"

By now, the two had left the exhibition hall and were desperately fleeing toward the outskirts of Tianqiong Technology Park.

Gunfire echoed from above. Lin Xu looked up in shock, then noticed two drones hovering in the sky, raining down firepower onto the ground with rhythmic precision.

Large-caliber bullets pierced through the rcenaries’ bulletproof vests, and the sll of blood spread instantly.

Skull Head’s eyes nearly bulged out in rage, while Lin Xu was dumbfounded.

What the hell?!

Is that really necessary?

What kind of heavenly law did I break for them to dispatch this kind of force to kill ?

Such a situation had never occurred in the dozens of previous encounters. Even when Tianqiong Technology was actively attacked and rockets were seized before launch, the highest-level ard forces Lin Xu had seen were local ard police.

In terms of specification, they were no match for this quick reaction force.

So what’s going on?

Wait a minute.

Could Jiang Xingye’s na be so kind of taboo?

Or is she herself the leader of so criminal organization?

But she doesn’t seem like it!

Lin Xu was full of question marks in his head. anwhile, the quick reaction force had almost encircled Skull Head’s rcenary squad.

"There’s no way out!"

"Damn it! Who the hell are you?!"

Skull Head pressed Lin Xu behind a narrow cover, his eyes almost shooting fire.

"You’re not simple! Even the quick reaction force wants to capture you!"

"No wonder you ca looking for us... you’ve got issues!"

"Isn’t that right? Brother, don’t you think you’ve got problems?"

Lin Xu helplessly pushed Skull Head away, his expression even calr.

"You all ca into the country ard. Maybe you’re the ones who brought in the quick reaction force."

"I’ll say it again, we’re not rcenaries. We’re a PMC! A legal PMC!"

Skull Head ground his teeth.

"Too late for words. We’re surrendering."

"Good luck to you!"

With that, he raised his hands and stepped out from cover. But the next second, a bullet shot down from the air.

Bang!

Skull Head’s knee was shattered, and he collapsed hard onto the ground.

Still shooting?!

Lin Xu’s eyes widened.

He’s already surrendered!

Surely the quick reaction force wasn’t ordered to kill everyone on sight?

"Don’t resist! Stop resisting!"

Skull Head struggled and shouted.

"We surrender! We surrender!"

As he spoke, the gunfire around finally ceased.

Soon after, more drones began hovering in the air, controlling every corner inside and outside Tianqiong Technology Park.

Soldiers wearing chanical exoskeletons exited armored personnel carriers and dispersed in the most standard tactical formation to complete the final control.

Lin Xu hid behind cover, afraid to make a sound. He glanced at his watch; 36 minutes remained.

What to do?

Grab a gun and restart, or wait and see?

From the current situation, if caught, it would just be the usual procedure—locked in an interrogation room wasting the remaining thirty-plus minutes.

Doesn’t seem like much of a loss?

Maybe I should act more aggressively and see if any new plot develops.

Try to run away?

Thinking this, three quick reaction force soldiers approached in a triangular formation, alternately covering each other.

He took a deep breath, stood up from cover, and sprinted away, ready to be shot at.

But to his surprise, they didn’t open fire.

"Get down!"

"Hands behind your back!"

"Stop!"

The three shouted warnings but never fired a shot.

Damn!

Am I getting special treatnt?

Well, I can’t be blad then.

Not far away, near a rcenary’s corpse, a grenade lay on the ground. Lin Xu sprinted forward; only five ters away from the grenade.

Throw the grenade, create chaos, try to escape.

The plan was clear.

But just then.

A huge force hit him from behind.

Bang!

He was knocked flying and slamd hard onto the ground.

Sharp pain, dizziness, difficulty breathing...

He felt like his heart was about to stop.

Lin Xu struggled to get up, but his body was already locked down.

Only then did he notice the net wrapped tightly around him, still contracting.

Damn!

There’s still this thing?

A counter-terror quick reaction force with nets?

Lin Xu had already lost the ability to resist, but the good news was that the mont he was caught in the net, he instinctively reached forward.

His hand was only centiters away from the rcenary’s corpse.

Twist!

Squirm!

Lin Xu twisted his body desperately, completely ignoring the three soldiers rushing toward him from behind.

Only 20 centiters left!

Move, dead leg!

Lin Xu fixed his eyes on the grenade in front of him, and just as his fingers were about to touch it—

Bang!

A leg kicked out violently, sending the corpse and grenade flying nearly two ters away.

"Got it."

The man seed to exhale deeply.

Then he reported into his radio:

"This is Monsoon. I’ve arrived."

"Mission complete. Target successfully captured."

"Yes, so complications."

"We were originally only here to capture, but were attacked by illegal PMC mbers."

"All cleared out. Will bring them back shortly."

"Identity verified."

"Lin Xu. Yes, that’s Lin Xu."

"Very strange."

"He had no prior contact with the Planetary Reincarnation organization. No idea why the alarm was triggered."

"Bring him back first. After all, he gathered so many illegal rcenaries, definitely not a good guy..."

Originally, Lin Xu was still trying to break free.

But as soon as the man finished speaking, he no longer wanted to move.

Because he realized these quick reaction force soldiers seed to have information he didn’t know.

Planetary Reincarnation?

What the hell is that?

So Jiang Xingye is a mber of this organization?

I got caught because I ntioned her and was mistaken for being related to this group?

No.

What is this Planetary Reincarnation? So terrifying cult??
