Chapter 155 Yu and Wan Couple’s Gossip Ti
After their passionate encounter, Ji Wanwan was exhausted by the man’s intensity, collapsing into Gao Yu’s arms, the man behind her contentedly wrapping his arms around her graceful body.
Although they were both naked, the heat of their body temperatures was intensely alarming. Watching Ji Wanwan heavily close her eyes and lean against his chest, the man smirked, gently planting a kiss on her forehead.
It was nearing midnight, and after finally recovering, Ji Wanwan lifted her head to see the man holding her tightly, already closing his eyes intending to fall asleep.
Suddenly rembering Song Xin whom she t at the bar tonight, Ji Wanwan touched the man’s nose forcefully waking Gao Yu again. The man grabbed the woman’s wrist, his sleepy eyes indifferent.
"I have to ask you sothing," Song Xin looked seriously at the man who had now opened his eyes, struggling to rember Song Xin’s identity was truly stifling for her.
Seeing Song Xin behaving rather decently today, Gao Yu unusually cooperated and responded in a muffled voice, "What is it?"
"Who is Song Xin? Is she a relative of yours?" Ji Wanwan got straight to the point, moving the man’s warm hand from her waist and asked curiously.
Hearing her suddenly ask about Song Xin, Gao Yu was puzzled but still replied normally, "No, she was a neighbor of ours. Our families have had good relations since our elders’ generation, and Song Xin is the second daughter of the Song family."
Listening to Gao Yu’s explanation, Ji Wanwan was processing the information, seemingly having heard of such a person before. After a little while, as if suddenly rembering sothing, she abruptly sat up from the bed, having a mont of realization, she exclaid, "Ah!"
"I rember now, isn’t she the one your mom tried to set up with Gao Chuan?" Sitting on the edge of the bed, Song Xin looked gravely at the man yawning on the bed, speaking with a hint of excited emotion.
No wonder the na sounded familiar; she had just entered the Gao Family and had heard so people discussing the gossip between Gao Chuan and Song Xin, primarily rembering Shen i’s dramatic antics since it was such a morable incident.
Hearing Ji Wanwan’s words, Gao Yu’s expression remained mostly unchanged, after all, what Ji Wanwan said was true.
Back then, Shen i had caused such a scene that Gao Chuan nearly fell out with her, and though he didn’t quite understand the specifics, he eventually helped scold Shen i.
Even if he was eager for Gao Chuan to get married, such absurd actions shouldn’t have been taken.
"No wonder she was getting so chummy with ," Ji Wanwan muttered to herself, her eyes suddenly lighting up with a gossipy flair, asking Gao Yu, "Hey, it wouldn’t be that Song Xin is still pestering your brother desperately, is it?"
Having heard so relatives from the Gao family say, the two almost got engaged before it inexplicably fell through, probably because of that incident, but that poor girl ended up arranged in such disreputable events and still didn’t land the man.
Gao Yu squinted looking at his excited wife, sleepily lying back down and yawned, "Don’t talk nonsense, hasn’t Gao Chuan already gotten married?"
Although Gao Yu was a few years older than Gao Chuan and Song Xin, he also knew Miss Song’s affections toward Gao Chuan; if it wasn’t for the girl’s intentions, Shen i wouldn’t have made such rash actions, lantably his younger brother has always been clueless about love, speaking of which, Song Xin was quite pitiable.
Ji Wanwan blinked, laying back into the man’s embrace, voicing her inner doubt, "Don’t you feel there’s sothing odd about the relationship between your brother and Anan?"
"Last ti, I don’t know what they quarreled about, but Anan was insisting not to let send her ho, saying Gao Chuan would dislike her and stuff?" Ji Wanwan recalled the last ti she was drinking with Jiang An, still not understanding Jiang An’s actions that night, but she didn’t want to bring up those sad mories around Jiang An anymore, so she hadn’t asked further.
"You aren’t suggesting your brother would mistreat his wife, are you?" Ji Wanwan guessed with displeasure.
After all, since she didn’t interact much with Gao Chuan, she didn’t know whether under that handso exterior lay a beast in gentleman’s clothing.
Gao Yu hugged the woman again and imdiately refuted, "No, they probably just had a fight."
Ji Wanwan has had her doubts, and although he has guessed them, no matter what secrets their marriage hid, as long as the two of them could live together peacefully, he, as her brother, would not interfere.
Besides, he knew his own brother well, and he was definitely not the type to bully won.
"Damn it," Ji Wanwan had just cald down for a few seconds when she suddenly cursed in the man’s arms, "If Song Xin still likes your brother, she wouldn’t ddle with them, would she?"
She had already told Jiang An that soone like Gao Chuan, being as attractive as he is, wouldn’t lack won pursuing him, considering there are many high-ranking ladies and daughters eyeing his looks.
Back then, the innocent Jiang An made no comnt on it, but now that Song Xin has returned, if she learns about Gao Chuan’s sudden marriage, wouldn’t she be eager to take revenge on Jiang An?
And with Jiang An’s silly and innocent character, wouldn’t she be easily bullied by others?
Ji Wanwan thought to herself. Behind her, Gao Yu chuckled softly upon hearing this, teasing that she had watched too many TV dramas, and such scenarios wouldn’t happen in real life.
Ji Wanwan pursed her lips and imdiately countered, "Didn’t you say Song Xin really liked your brother? Back then she did so much and Gao Chuan still didn’t marry her. Now that Jiang An and your brother have married quietly, if I were her, I would probably go crazy."
Jealousy, a woman’s nature.
Listening to Ji Wanwan’s analysis, Gao Yu remained non-committal. After all, so many years have passed, he didn’t know whether Song Xin still had feelings for Gao Chuan.
"No, I have to give Anan a heads-up." Ji Wanwan suddenly got an idea and wanted to get out of bed to grab her phone, but before she could sit up, the man pulled her back into his arms, his sowhat stubbly chin rubbing against the top of her head, his voice drowsy, "What for? What ti is it now?"
"They are their own issue, why are you worried? You don’t even care that much about our matters," the man said reproachfully, eyeing the woman who was excitedly gossiping in the middle of the night.
On the other hand, he didn’t expect Ji Wanwan to get along so well with Jiang An, which he was quite pleased about.
Thinking it over, Ji Wanwan agreed that it was late, so she decided not to disturb Jiang An’s sleep. These next couple of days she was off so it would be good to et and talk it over with Jiang An.
"What issues do we have?" the woman asked.
Unbeknownst to her, the man suddenly leaned close to her ear, his warm breath enveloping her, his deep voice exceptionally rich, "What do you think, big star?"
"When are you going to have a child for ?" the man softly bit the woman’s tender ear, watching as her earlobe instantly turned red.
Hearing him suddenly bring up this matter, Ji Wanwan no longer had the confidence she had before in front of the man and evasively said, "Don’t worry, what I promised you I will definitely do."
The mont her words ended, a silhouette pressed in front of her, and the man’s intense gaze fixated on her, his alluring voice drifting down from above her head.
"Today’s as good a day as any."
