Liu Xing watched the blood-colored Ghoul approaching relentlessly, yet he felt oddly calm inside. He knew that in the face of absolute power suppression, any resistance would be futile.

Before Liu Xing could dwell on it further, Alice approached, concerned. "Ryuusei, are you alright?"
Shaking his head, Liu Xing smiled. "I’m fine. I don’t know why that Ghoul didn’t harm , and thanks to you, Alice, for your intervention. You drove the Ghoul away. Otherwise, I might have been in trouble."
Alice breathed a sigh of relief. "I just had a hunch. Rembering the severed arm from the Ghoul statue, and now this Ghoul with a missing arm, I guessed it might belong to it. I blurted it out in the heat of the mont, but luckily, I was right."
Liu Xing nodded thoughtfully. "That’s plausible. And we found two Ghoul statues. This Ghoul is missing a leg and a heart, which might be in those statues. But Alice, you should call Chris imdiately. However, there was a problem. Upon inspection by Ryuzaki, so parts of the car had beco loose or fallen off due to the Ghoul’s violent actions. So it would take so ti to fix the car properly.
Therefore, Liu Xing and the others had to salvage what they could from the car and move to Lu Tianya’s vehicle.
Fortunately, Lu Tianya’s car was still operational. But a serious issue arose: Lu Tianya’s car was a four-seater. Even if Miguel said he could walk and Hu Li could transform back to run, there still wouldn’t be enough space for everyone. After all, none of them had Indian heritage.
So Liu Xing recalled a thod they had used not long ago — rooftop seating!
