"Soone is indeed following ," Saul thought.
It must be people from the Stargate Council.
As for why they were only tracking him and not showing themselves, they were probably waiting for soone more significant to appear.
Saul didn't expose them and simply left with Jeffrey.
For so reason, Jeffrey was exceptionally enthusiastic around Saul, even suggesting they rent the sa villa during the registration period.
Saul only said he'd consider it.
The two took a public carriage into the capital of the Olga Duchy.
Saul sat by the window, his gaze constantly sweeping the streets.
Jeffrey, beside him, thought Saul had just arrived from the Stat Continent and was curious about the local environnt.
"Olga isn't the strongest duchy, but because it's close to the Star Observatory Tower, the public order here has always been good. Many wizard apprentices want to settle down here." Jeffrey wasn't looking at the scenery or pedestrians outside.
He was staring intently at the Star Observatory Tower in the distance.
"However, the academic environnt here is nothing compared to what's inside the Star Observatory Tower. So, entering the Star Observatory Tower is the lifelong aspiration of all wizards."
Saul had been looking for red worms crawling on people. Hearing Jeffrey's longing to join the Stargate Council, he gave face and looked towards the Star Observatory Tower straight ahead.
The white Star Observatory Tower wasn't close to Olga, but its imnse height made it seem as if it stood at the end of the street, even from a great distance.
The tower's top and base had a certain width, but its waist was slender and curved, resembling a graceful young woman at first glance.
"The person who built this tower certainly had taste," a smile played on Saul's lips.
But before the smile could fully form, it froze on his face.
He saw a streak of red slowly wriggle out from behind the tower's waist, first extending a head with only a proboscis.
Then, layers of fat on its body continuously contracted and expanded, revealing more of its massive form to Saul.
After crawling for a while, it seed to tire, its head and torso clinging tightly to the tower's waist.
"How can it be... so big?" Saul was dumbfounded.
"It is very big," Jeffrey, completely unaware of what Saul was seeing, thought Saul was referring to the Star Observatory Tower. "That's the headquarters of the Stargate Council. They say there are over three hundred resident true wizards. How could it not be that big?"
Saul's brows furrowed.
He had seen a red worm, about a hundred ters long, wrapped around the outside of the Star Observatory Tower. The thickest part of the red worm was almost as wide as the tower's waist.
But how could such a behemoth be wrapped around the Star Observatory Tower without anyone doing anything about it?
Saul even wondered if the small red worm that ate Wizard Aurel was a descendant of this giant red worm.
Most importantly, if the Stargate Council's headquarters was occupied by red worms, how many of the Stargate Council mbers were still alive?
If Senior Byron really ca here, did he discover the red worm, and was he attacked by it?
"I have sothing urgent, I'm leaving now," Saul suddenly said, bidding farewell to Jeffrey, who was enthusiastically praising the Star Observatory Tower. He jumped directly out of the public carriage window.
"Huh? Huh?" Jeffrey didn't understand why Saul had suddenly left. He poked his head out the window, looking forward and backward several tis, but couldn't find any trace of Saul. It seed as if he had vanished the mont he jumped out the window.
Saul hurried through the streets, constantly using his Fate Lines to sense Byron's location. He could feel that Byron was still alive, but he couldn't pinpoint his exact whereabouts.
Either Byron was very far from Saul at the mont, or he had been hidden by soone.
Because Saul was looking for soone with a purpose, he moved very quickly, constantly approaching the Star Observatory Tower.
After traversing most of the city, he suddenly clearly sensed another person's Fate Line.
It was Agu, who had co to the Iskaper Continent with Byron.
"Agu should have been with Senior. Now that it's just him, could it be that Senior has really run into trouble?"
Saul's figure vanished, reappearing a second later in the backyard of an inn.
He saw Agu writing sothing with his back to him.
"Ahem," Saul deliberately cleared his throat twice.
"Who's there?"
Agu roared and turned around, simultaneously destroying what he had just written. However, upon seeing Saul, Agu's face lit up with surprise.
"Master! How did you get here?"
"The Glare Family Patriarch invited . Then I thought I'd co see you all. But..." Saul tilted his head, looking at the item in Agu's hand, "Your situation doesn't seem too good."
Agu noticed Saul's gaze and quickly presented the recorded item in his hand to Saul.
"Wizard Byron was taken away. He told not to expose my identity, so I've been hiding in different inns, avoiding their surveillance. I was wondering how to get the ssage to you, but I didn't expect you to co by yourself."
After the initial surprise, Agu also breathed a sigh of relief. He had been on edge and had a very difficult ti these past few days.
"What happened? How was Senior Byron taken away? When did this happen?"
Taking the notes Agu had written, Saul found they contained descriptions of addresses. The information was very discreet; soone unaware of the situation might think Agu was just recording shop addresses.

Agu slowly recounted his and Byron's experiences during this period.
It turned out that after Byron and Agu arrived on the Iskaper Continent, they didn't rush to the Stargate Council headquarters. Instead, they toured various duchies on the continent before finally heading to the port city where Corey was located.
But after staying there for a short ti, one day Byron suddenly rushed Agu to leave with him.
Agu didn't know what happened, only following Byron towards the Stargate Council headquarters. However, it seed soone was following them on the way, so Byron and Agu discussed splitting up and reuniting in the Olga Duchy.
Because they separated, both had their own ways to evade pursuers, allowing them to escape more smoothly.
Later, they did reunite in the Olga Duchy, but as soon as they arrived at their agreed eting point, a group of people suddenly appeared and surrounded Byron.
According to Byron's instructions, if anything happened to him, Agu was not to intervene and should pretend not to know him. Agu followed these instructions.
When he cautiously approached the eting point again, he found that Byron was no longer there, nor had he left any secret signs to guide him.
So Agu could only wander aimlessly through various corners of the city, trying to find Byron, while recording any places he found suspicious.
It was fortunate that Agu was essentially a soul body with almost no living costs; otherwise, it would have been very difficult to live silently in the city without attracting the attention of other forces.
"Wizard Byron said he seed to have seen sothing on Wizard Corey and Wizard Aurel. But he couldn't be entirely sure, so he planned to go directly to the Stargate Council headquarters."
"Did Senior Byron also see the red worm? Is a special ntal power a prerequisite for seeing it?" Saul mused inwardly.
