Exiting the Prismatic Channel, Saul sat quietly in the wizard tower, thinking.

He was considering whether he should secretly search for his master.

But he was also worried Frim might send people to watch him. Once he left the Borderland, the other party could confirm the Storm Eye was just a false alarm and would very likely imdiately send people to "invite" Saul back to Nephret.

Saul couldn't leave, so he was thinking about who to send to find Master Gorsa.

If he could join forces with Master Gorsa and persuade the Glare Patriarch, then Tribunal Chief Frim wouldn't seem like such a formidable existence.

Moreover, Saul had mastered Frim's secrets.

The other party had secretly imprisoned Stuart's soul while concealing it from Black Fla Emperor Elo.

If Elo knew about this, he would definitely understand that Frim had also prepared contingencies against him.

Regardless of what Frim's ultimate purpose was, such contingencies and precautions were ultimately unsettling.

Perhaps Emperor Elo would be willing to engage in minor cooperation with Glare for the safety of himself and the Black Fla Empire.

These thods all needed to be gradually unfolded.

The prerequisite was that Saul could find a way to suppress Frim, this greatest threat.

Otherwise, other people, even the closest forces, wouldn't be willing to openly oppose Frim.

"I wonder if half a year will be enough ti."

Just then, Saul's door was suddenly pushed open, and Keli rushed in holding a letter.

"Saul, I received a distress letter from Kira!" Discover more novels at noveⅼfire

"Kira?" Saul quickly stood up, walked to Keli's side, and took the letter from her hand.

The content of the letter was very simple, only two sentences.

One was "The resurrected soul has controlled Kema."

The second was "She wants revenge."

Seeing these two sentences, Saul thought briefly and realized the resurrected soul referred to Yura.

As for revenge?

Besides his Master Gorsa, who else could resurrect soone and still be so hated?

Saul smiled bitterly. "Yura wants to take revenge on Master Gorsa? How could she possibly accomplish that alone?"

Saul held the letter and asked Keli, "Can you confirm the information source is accurate? If she could send out a distress letter, why couldn't she write a few more words?"

"Because we use non-magical thods to transmit information."

Keli explained to Saul the secret agreent between her and Grand Duke Kira.

"At that ti, Kema and Kenas were in constant conflict, and Tower Master Gorsa's situation wasn't quite right. Grand Duke Kira thought about what to do if Kema was breached one day - how to secretly transmit important intelligence past the wizards. Later she arranged for trusted people to beco the most inconspicuous cleaning staff in the castle. They would clean the castle floors every night, and if Grand Duke Kira and others had information to transmit, they would leave specific marks on the ground."

"Pure physical ans to transmit codes? This thod isn't very secure either. Didn't she think about what if the information was intercepted and couldn't get out at all?"

Saul repeatedly confird the accuracy of the ssage.

"There is indeed that possibility." Keli's shoulders drooped. "To prevent magical power fluctuations from being discovered, this purely physical thod of transmitting information has many hidden dangers. I can only confirm that the person transmitting the information is Grand Duke Kira's person and wasn't in a controlled state."

Keli's repeated explanations had already shown her attitude.

Saul looked into Keli's eyes. "You want to go, don't you?"

Keli bit her lip.

At this ti, she should have been continuing radiation experints in the Chaos Realm. Grand Duke Kira was in trouble, but wasn't Saul also in trouble?

The only difference between them was that Saul could still buy ti now, but who knew what had beco of Grand Duke Kira's situation.

After all, if there were other solutions, Grand Duke Kira wouldn't ask her for help.

"I..." Keli made her decision. "I'll go take a look. If it's a problem I can help with, I'll solve it quickly and return. If I can't help, I'll also return quickly."

But Saul suddenly smiled. "Since you want to go, then go."

He stood up and returned to the experintal table. "However, before you go, I need to plan who will accompany you, to see who could be helpful."

Keli quickly rushed in front of Saul. "You need people here too. I can go back by myself..."

Saul raised his hand and ruffled Keli's tallic-lustrous long hair. "Whenever I had matters that needed you, you always ca to help without hesitation, without asking reasons or considering consequences. Now that you want to save Kema and save Kira, of course I should do my utmost to help you too."

This ti Keli was stunned. She raised her hand to touch the top of her head, sowhat unnaturally arranging the hair strands Saul had ssed up.

Saul took out paper and pen, organizing the information he currently had, telling Keli without looking up, "I can't personally accompany you. If I went, it wouldn't help you but would probably bring more trouble."

He drew a simple map of Stat Continent on the paper, then drew several special symbols located at the Sighing Wall in the far north, the Borderland, and the capital of Kema Duchy.

Finally, Saul drew a line on the paper with his pen. "Have Shaya accompany you!"

"Eh?" Keli thought for a mont before rembering who Shaya was. "Can he go? Doesn't he still need rest and recuperation?"

Saul's fingertip tapped lightly on the table surface. "I have a specially encrypted communication thod with him. He can help you transmit information. Moreover, he has multiple clones and is resistant to death. If there's danger, just send him up."

After having the worried Keli go back to prepare departure luggage, Saul again opened the Prismatic Channel to contact Shaya.

Shaya was very reluctant but could only agree.

Saul promised Shaya, "Yura wants to seize power. She definitely can't do it alone. After this incident is resolved, there will be quite a few rebels needing cleanup. These people can be handed over to you to handle."

Shaya's breathing sounds beca rapid.

"Oh, there's one more thing to entrust to you. The importance of this matter is second only to protecting Keli."

[As long as you're not sending to my death...]

"Do you think your value is so low that you're the kind of existence that can be casually discarded?"

[Uh... not really.]

Saul ntally rolled his eyes, then told Shaya what he needed him to do.

Shaya's side transmitted extre surprise, but in the end didn't refuse Saul.

[Alright! I'll do it!]

Cutting off contact with Shaya, Saul again called out to Mido.

[Huh, Lord Saul, didn't you just leave?]

Saul: "Plans have changed. Have you already told Royer about the new experintal thod?"

[Ah, we already told him.]

"No problem, proceed as planned, but you don't need to make the experint progress too quickly. Do you understand what I an?"

Mido's side was silent for a mont.

[You want to play dumb, right?]

Saul smiled. "More or less. In any case, don't let the experint succeed imdiately. Stall them. In a few days, I'll return for a trip."

[Eh? You're coming back? But won't you be imprisoned again if you return?]

"Not going back right now. That's why I need you to delay ti. Give them so sweet rewards, but don't completely solve the problem."

[Alright! Lord Saul!]

Although Mido was still confused, she knew that listening to Saul was enough - no need to think too much.
