Interesting. Looking at Alfonso who had suddenly appeared, Saul thought, I talked with Sander for so long without him showing up, but as soon as I see this rmaid, he appears. Could this rmaid have other special qualities besides her beauty?

Saul's heart was already stirring with excitent, but his surface remained calm as he turned around. "I heard there's a genuine rmaid princess here, so I ca to see what makes her different from other rmaids."

Alfonso walked past Saul and entered first. "Pearl has the richest royal bloodline among rmaids. But that's all there is to it. In other aspects, she has no special qualities. Her performance in intelligence and soul body is even inferior to Coral."

He walked to the glass wall and placed his hand on the glass.

Pearl imdiately sank down curiously, widening her eyes to look at Alfonso's palm pressed against the wall, wanting to get closer.

Just then, Alfonso's hand suddenly flipped over, and his knuckles forcefully knocked the glass once, producing a very loud "thunk."

Pearl, who was about to approach, was imdiately startled. The entire fish panicked, flipping several tis in the water, swishing her tail as she swam shakily to a corner of the room, then looked at Alfonso in terror.

Alfonso, expressionless with downturned mouth corners, turned to Saul and said, "I've done this trick over ten tis, and she gets scared every single ti."

Saul found it amusing but couldn't laugh appropriately, so he clapped his hands twice. "I heard fish only have seven-second mories."

He also walked to the glass, waited seven seconds, then mimicked Alfonso by placing his hand on the glass.

Alfonso frowned. "It's not just seven seconds. Usually by the next day, she forgets..."

Before he could finish speaking, Alfonso's eyes widened.

Because Pearl from the corner really did co back.

She stared with her milky white, pearl-lustrous eyes, curiously approaching Saul's palm just like before.

When Pearl got very close, Saul also knocked the wall with a "thunk," then unsurprisingly watched Pearl swim back to the corner in fright.

After that, Saul silently counted seven seconds and repeated his previous action.

Pearl was drawn out from the corner again.

Alfonso's frown deepened.

This ti Saul didn't frighten Pearl, allowing her to observe his palm through the glass.

Looking at the bewildered Pearl, Saul spoke the words Alfonso hadn't said aloud: "This rmaid princess's intelligence... is it continuously declining?"

Alfonso's brow furrowed so much it seed ready to tie knots.

Saul tugged at the rmaid he'd brought along. "I want to see the difference between rmaid royalty and ordinary rmaids. Can I take so samples from Pearl?"

Alfonso's lips pressed white, and only after several seconds did he speak. "What samples do you want to take?"

Saul counted them off one by one. "At least a vial of blood, palm-sized skin, and if possible, I'd like to cut off a section of bone, preferably spine..."

"Enough!" Alfonso suddenly shouted in a low voice.

Saul looked up blankly, gazing at him with an innocent expression. "What's wrong? Is Pearl as rare and precious as the rmaid royal bloodline?"

Alfonso said with so difficulty, "Pearl is currently the atavistic rmaid showing the most atavistic traits. Look at her tail—it's entirely cyan scales. Although her intelligence is sowhat low, she's still an important experintal subject. I'm also researching how to extract sufficient concentration of rmaid royal bloodline from her, so you can't touch her for now."

Seeing that Saul seed to want to argue further, Alfonso quickly added, "You can think of Pearl as the current Alexandra. She may indeed not be that precious, but she's currently irreplaceable. Look at her tail scales—they're all cyan, very much like the Azure Scale Clan ntioned in ancient texts. Without certainty, I won't easily turn Pearl into experintal material."

Having said this, regardless of whether Saul agreed, Alfonso was already preparing to escort him out. He raised his palm toward Saul—this was the preparatory gesture for teleportation.

"If you really want to study atavistic rmaids, go look in the Red Sea. You can find ones with relatively high bloodline concentration there too. Once you can determine the experintal direction through other atavistic rmaids, I'll bring you back to study Pearl."

Saul asked back, "There are still atavistic rmaids in the Red Sea?"

"Not many, but there are indeed so. Alright, don't resist."

Saul didn't plan to entangle further at this mont anyway. He could always use visiting Sander as an excuse to see the rmaid in the future.

However, Alfonso held his palm up for a long ti without teleporting.

"What's wrong?" Saul didn't sense any spatial fluctuations.

Alfonso looked conflicted, slowly lowering his hand. "Lord Frim has summoned all third-rank wizards to co imdiately."

Normally Alfonso should go imdiately, but he was still sowhat worried.

He reminded Saul again, "Pearl is currently the only sample. No matter what, don't touch her without my permission."

"Fine, I won't touch her." Saul nodded, showing reluctant but forced agreent.

Alfonso couldn't wait any longer. He glanced at Pearl once, then his figure disappeared.

"Probably went to the Tribunal." Saul's expression imdiately relaxed.

Saul returned to the glass.

Pearl inside the glass was still lying opposite Saul, but now she was looking toward where Alfonso had disappeared, seemingly not understanding how the person had suddenly vanished.

At this mont, Penny, who loved watching drama unfold, spoke in the diary.

[Hee hee hee, Brother Saul, didn't you say you wouldn't touch her?]

Saul, leading the rmaid, said, "Right, I won't touch her."

He gently pushed the rmaid floating under levitation magic.

Saul's rmaid flew toward the glass and actually passed right through it, falling into the water-filled room on the other side.

In the water, the rmaid showed a smile, seeming very comfortable.

Saul knew that controlling the rmaid's body was the nearly fifth-rank wizard Floco, so he didn't deliberately remind him.

Penny was chattering excitedly.

[Quick, quick, quick! Draw her blood, peel her skin, break off a section of her bone.]

Saul ignored Penny and pointed at the water.

"Lord Floco, don't cause irreparable damage."

Although Floco was underwater, he could still hear Saul's voice clearly.

He nodded, then approached Pearl.

Seeing Floco flying toward the glass, Pearl was first afraid, then quickly beca curious and approached Floco.

Floco didn't draw blood, but simply went forward and took Pearl's hand.

Pearl was bewilderedly held by Floco's hand, and actually instinctively looked toward Saul outside the glass.

Discovering Pearl was looking at him, Saul also waved, then found Pearl's expression even more confused.

"Why does she have that expression?"

Before Saul could figure it out, Floco erged from the water with that ugly fish face.

The entire process took less than a minute. Not even a drop of water was brought out.

"This so-called rmaid princess doesn't have my bloodline flowing in her either."

"Isn't Pearl from the Azure Scale Clan?"

"Should be so branch lineage, mixed bloodlines." Floco looked sowhat disappointed.

Perhaps deep in his heart he still wanted to find descendants of his own bloodline.

Not feeling dejected for long, Floco raised his hand, and a drop of dark red liquid floated from his palm toward Saul.

"This is the bloodline I extracted from her—just a small portion that won't affect her body. Outsiders won't discover anything missing unless they drain her blood for examination. It can self-repair in two months."

This really helped Saul. He quickly collected the rmaid bloodline. "Thank you very much."

"Oh, there's one more thing." Floco said hesitantly. "I don't know if you care, but her soul body has been artificially damaged. The technique was very sophisticated. You would probably all think it was natural."
