"I can't hold her for long. Start the connection imdiately!" Saul pointed at the formation that was already prepared, having Pei'er go stand in the designated position.

"Just the two of us? Will that work?" Pei'er had been staying by Ophelia's side these past days and wasn't clear on Saul's situation.

But she still obediently followed Saul's command, taking her doll's short little steps toward her designated position.

However, just as Pei'er was about to move into the formation, the white doll's body suddenly turned toward Saul uncontrollably, its left arm instantly transforming into a long whip that lashed toward Saul.

Though injured, Saul's alertness remained. He imdiately grabbed the end of the whip.

However, he discovered his fingers were sizzling and smoking.

That whip actually possessed extrely strong corrosive power.

"Ahh!" Nerela's panicked voice ca through. "Master, Pei'er's and my body are out of control!"

Before she finished speaking, the white doll's other arm whipped over again.

Also a white whip, Saul didn't use his hand to block this ti, but instantly activated his electric light protection.

However, the powerful electric grid defense began emitting black smoke upon catching the whip, and was breached within a short ti.

"Such strong corrosive power—it can even corrode magic-constructed spells!"

Saul was shocked inside, understanding this was also Ophelia's thod, but he could only endure it for now.

"Master, what do we do? We can't get over there now, and we can't co out of this body either." Nerela was very anxious, not knowing how long Saul could hold Ophelia.

Knowing ti was urgent, Saul imdiately raised his hand without another word.

The Dead Wizard's Diary instantly appeared in his palm.

At the sa ti, the white doll's entire body shuddered and actually retracted to its original form, collapsing limply to the ground.

The diary in Saul's hand automatically opened, gradually forming a black page inside.

Saul smiled.

Even if Ophelia used the white doll to trap Pei'er and Nerela, with just a gentle pull from the diary, he imdiately drew the black page back into the diary.

What delighted him even more was that without souls, the white doll lost its power source and stopped attacking.

Saul didn't waste ti and tore out the black page again.

This ti he directly threw the torn black page toward the formation's designated position.

The mont the page hit the ground, it imdiately beca a consciousness entity with two heads.

Without a word of nonsense, Pei'er imdiately closed her eyes and activated the formation.

Saul wiped the purple blood flowing from the corner of his mouth and simultaneously initiated the connection!

...

When the Dead Wizard's Diary above her head suddenly disappeared, Ophelia knew Saul must be up to so trick.

Without the diary's suppression, she could easily leave Saul's consciousness platform.

However, just as she prepared to destroy this place, the deep sky above suddenly transford from dark depths to a sky full of stars.

And those stars flickered a few tis, actually opening their eyes.

Ophelia stood in place, stunned for a mont, then... reached back and gouged out her own eyes!

...

Using the power of the Prismatic World to delay Ophelia again, Saul swayed and nearly fainted.

He had used himself as a dium to transmit the power of the Death Demon from the Prismatic World. Although the other party was friendly toward him and he had been to the Prismatic World twice, transmitting that power still nearly exhausted all his ntal strength and wounded his spiritual body, almost causing him to lose consciousness.

Saul forced himself to direct Pei'er. "You stay here and use the fastest speed to modify this section into an auxiliary formation!"

Pei'er also opened her eyes, feeling uneasy, but could only nod quickly and imdiately follow Saul's instructions, slightly modifying the small formation nested in one corner of the array to beco an auxiliary formation for the Symphony of Fate.

Saul had no ti to stay here and teleported again despite his skull-splitting headache.

This ti, he appeared directly beside Mina, who was playing alone in her room.

Though startled by Saul's sudden appearance, Mina quickly showed a sweet smile. "Big Brother Saul!"

The two wing-like hands atop her head also waved rapidly.

However, Saul had no ti to attend to Mina. He went directly to the wooden box Mina was leaning against and shattered it with one palm strike.

The fragnts exploded, revealing an exquisite white porcelain kitten inside the box.

The kitten's eyes were crystal clear like rubies.

Saul placed one hand on the kitten's head and said in a weak but firm voice, "Careful, a tsunami is coming."

Mina supported her small body to sit up and saw the kitten in Saul's hand suddenly emit an explosive sound from within.

The explosion blew a crack in the white porcelain cat's head.

Saul's hand remained pressed on the white porcelain cat, not releasing even at the mont of explosion.

When the explosion occurred, his palm simultaneously burst with a flash of red light that disappeared instantly.

At the sa ti, in the great lecture hall, the Academy of Knowledge, the Academy of Practice, Saul's rented room, and the highest tower of the White Glass Castle, red beams of light shot toward the sky.

The beams shot into the air, then urgently turned and all converged toward the center of the five light points before disappearing in mid-air, as if sothing had swallowed the light.

Little Mina sat on the bed, quietly watching the white cat in Saul's hand.

In her black pupils, the red beams shooting into the room from five directions were reflected.

The beams converged on the exploding white porcelain cat and disappeared again.

Only Saul knew that the red light hadn't disappeared—it had entered the deep sea.

Saul slowly closed his eyes.

In his vision, several semi-transparent life lines extended from his fingertips, passing through the crack in the white porcelain cat and also entering the deep sea.

Under the extre pull of the life lines, Floco, originally trapped motionless at the bottom of the sea, suddenly leaped and charged toward the light following the massive undercurrent stirred up from the seabed.

Floco held nothing back, releasing all his power to charge toward freedom.

He knew this opportunity was extrely rare. If Saul hadn't widely promoted the Cat's Gratitude during this ti and used the power of fate lines to help him accumulate many deep sea curses, he couldn't have waited for this "seabed undercurrent."

Floco used all his strength to break through the deep sea pressure weighing on him. Though this undercurrent had stirred up powerful tsunamis, to carry him up from the seabed still required nine parts effort and one part luck.

But luck seed unwilling to favor this Water God who provided luck.

As he gradually approached the surface, the deep sea curse seed to react, actually stirring up towering waves from above that crashed down heavily.

The pressure from above blocked Floco's escape.

Even mobilizing all the accumulated power in his body to resist the deep sea's suppression, it always seed just a little short!

Looking at the sunlight that seed within reach yet impossible to touch, Floco roared, "What a joke, what a joke! Just a little bit, just a little bit more! I want to get out, let out ahhhhhh!!!"

However, this roar brought him no strength but made the resistance on his body increasingly heavy, as if the deep sea currents had beco layers of chains binding him, vowing to drag him back to the seabed.

Finally, Floco exhausted all his strength but stopped rising just a hair's breadth from the surface.

His montum lost, like a lead ball thrown to its highest point, trendous gravity was about to make it fall back to earth at terrifying speed.

Freedom, like flight, seed nothing more than an unreachable dream.

Just as the light in Floco's eyes was about to fade, several semi-transparent thin threads suddenly penetrated the sea surface and wrapped around Floco's white cat body.

These delicate threads looked fragile, yet when providing Floco with slight pulling force, they also injected new power into him!

The next second, Floco's eyes burst with light.

"Crash—"

The heavy water pressure could no longer restrain him. The sea surface was broken through, and the white cat's body burst out of the water!

"Splash!"

At the sa ti, the white porcelain cat under Saul's palm completely transford into a mass of transparent water flow, flying into the air and changing from a condensed water droplet into a palm-sized, slender water spirit with a human body and fish tail!
