When Saul was at the third rank, he had also thought about exploring the Abyssal Eye, but the diary had clearly told him that he would die.

Without being forced into a desperate situation, Saul had no need to test the length of his lifeline.

The previous prophetic dreams had also made Saul understand that trying to seize a glimr of hope from the abyssal apocalypse was extrely difficult. So he had never rashly thought about personally entering the Abyssal Eye.

This ti, when Saul planned to enter the abyss again, the diary gave no hint at all.

This made Saul feel sowhat abnormal instead.

Could it be that because the fourth-rank him could already rely on the Symphony of Fate to resurrect, the diary would no longer give him death warnings?

Saul looked at the diary floating quietly in his soul body and decided to still try entering the abyss.

So Saul briefly explained things to Keli, then flew into the great rift of the Chaos Realm again.

However, the developnt of events was completely beyond Saul's expectations.

When he followed the previous steps and found the aperture buried in the mountain that could transport him to the abyss, he discovered that this aperture—had actually been sealed by soone?

This sealing was very thorough.

It was as if soone had deliberately reinforced the mbrane here, making it completely impossible for Saul to enter.

This mbrane was not physical, and it also blocked ntal power. Even Saul's fate lines, due to lack of sufficient dium, could not penetrate.

Saul tried several tis in succession and searched around the area, but couldn't find any other way to enter the abyss.

After wasting several days, he returned to the Purity Wizard Tower empty-handed.

His mood was extrely bad.

This bad mood was because so things seed to be escaping his control.

The mbrane cavity existing under the great rift could actually be sealed.

Was the deliberately left gap waiting for soone to enter?

And if the mbrane could be repaired, did that an the mbrane could also be torn away?

Wouldn't the Chaos Realm then be in danger of completely falling into the abyss?

Moreover, if one hole could be silently patched up, couldn't Camus also silently open a larger hole?

Couldn't he enter the Chaos Realm for a stroll?

With Camus's abilities, stealing experintal results without alerting Keli and the others would be child's play.

But after careful thought, Saul felt it was unlikely.

A mbrane that could separate two worlds wasn't like a broken bucket that could be patched up at will or opened whenever desired.

Moreover, Saul had been operating in the Chaos Realm for so long. If Camus could really co and go freely, it could have ambushed Saul here.

Rather than repeatedly trying to persuade Saul to join the abyss's camp.

But after ruling out the possibility that Camus could manipulate the outer mbrane of the Chaos Realm, Saul still couldn't relax.

Sudden changes ant that sothing beyond his expectations might have happened.

The other party sealed the entrance, most likely because they didn't want Saul to go over and discover the changes on that side.

"But what unexpected event could have occurred?"

Saul wanted to use the diary for deduction, but due to the lack of crisis, the diary gave no feedback.

The diary that Saul had always relied on completely lost its effectiveness for the first ti.

He had no choice but to let go, allowing the diary to continue floating in his soul body.

Seeming to sense Saul's irritation, Little Algae erged from behind Saul's neck again. After weaving a scarf around his neck, it perked up its head and stopped in front of him.

"Blub blub blub blub..."

Little Algae stuck out its tongue at Saul, ruthlessly spraying Saul's face with saliva.

Saul: =.=

Saul quickly raised his hand and grabbed Little Algae's upper and lower jaws, directly making its teeth bite down on the black tongue tip. Then he watched as the tongue tip suddenly went rigid as if electrocuted.

A smile finally appeared on his face as he released Little Algae.

"Thank you, Little Algae."

Saul understood that Little Algae was trying to make him laugh just now. Because Little Algae actually couldn't feel pain, the appearance of biting its tongue just now was actually an act.

This was also a regular routine between Saul and Little Algae from before.

Although Little Algae could no longer help Saul do anything in terms of strength, and its intelligence had long fallen behind, it persisted in ignoring its root system under the wizard tower to follow Saul around everywhere.

Little Algae was trying to cheer Saul up, and the Nightmare Butterfly Penny wasn't to be outdone.

It fluttered its wings and flew out, landing on top of Little Algae's head.

"Brother Saul, don't be angry. Anyway, every ti you go to the abyss, the bad guy tries to make you surrender. Now that you can't get through, he can't try to persuade you either. We won't listen to his nonsense and will officially start the war!"

Saul shook his head with a smile and reached out to tease Penny as well. But halfway through extending his hand, he suddenly realized that Penny's words reminded him of sothing!

"He's not trying to persuade anymore?"

Saul's movent froze in place as his brain began racing.

"He sealed the hole to hide so things, and at the sa ti, he doesn't need to persuade anymore."

"Could it be because the abyss no longer cares about my power?"

"Could it be that the abyss has already found other assistance? Found other ways to solve the trouble I pose?"

Just as Saul was thinking, soone knocked on his living room door.

Through the soul body fluctuations, Saul knew it was the steward Hope.

Now in the wizard tower, only he dared to knock on Saul's door.

After learning that Saul had entered the fourth rank, Hope's attitude remained unchanged. To him, Saul was still the master of the wizard tower.

As long as this point remained unchanged, that was enough.

After Saul agreed, Hope pushed the door open and entered, standing outside the doorway and respectfully saying, "Tower Master, Wizard Kist is waiting for you at the top of the tower."

"Kist?" Saul stood up. "What's he here for?"

...

"Why are you so unwelcoming?" Kist pouted, looking sowhat aggrieved.

Saul turned and entered the wizard tower. "Co in, I happen to have sothing to ask you."

The grievance on Kist's face instantly disappeared. Using his index finger to spin his harp, he smiled and followed behind Saul, entering the Purity Wizard Tower once again.

The two entered the fifth floor's laboratory, and Saul casually sat on an empty experint table.

"Aren't you very busy? How did you suddenly leave Iskaper?"

"I finished my work. Anyway, there's only so much I can do now."

Saul looked at the silver harp in Kist's hands. Ever since he had completely mastered the diary and returned the soul fragnts belonging to Kist inside it, Kist hadn't held this harp for a long ti.

But when he discovered that he couldn't beco the fifth target of the Symphony of Fate, this harp suddenly appeared in his hands again.

This harp had the terrifying ability to control people's mories. For low-rank wizards, it was simply impossible to resist.

"So?" Saul waited for Kist to confess himself.

This cunning fellow—if he didn't want to speak, no one could see through what he was thinking.

"I ca to see if there was anything here that needed my help."

"There is indeed, but I can't be sure whether you truly want to help, or if you're here to gather information for Douglas."

Kist's eyes smiled as they narrowed. "I knew you would definitely see through it."

"Are you proud that it took so long to guess your relationship?" Saul deliberately rolled his eyes.

"No," Kist slowly shook his head. "As long as you can see clearly before the final mont, then you won't disappoint ."

Saul imdiately sat up straight and pressed for more: "When is the final mont?"

"Ding—"

Kist hooked a harp string and gently released it.

"The final mont is decided by you."
