"David is like a breath of fresh air in showbiz, I swear," a fan said with a chuckle. "All the celebs my friends used to like have had their scandals, but David’s still standing strong. Now they’ve all hopped on the David bandwagon with ."

"He’s an amazing guy. The more you explore, the more attractive he will be."

"No kidding. Can you imagine the lucky person who ends up with him? They’d be so blessed. David’s the kind of guy who takes care of you, a real warmhearted hunk."

"Whoever it is, as long as David’s happy, they’ll have my heartfelt blessings."

"Sa here."

"I just want David to be happy."

Rosemary’s own heart softened at the chorus of support for David. His popularity among his fans was no mystery.

Roo leaned in close to Rosemary, whispering tenderly, "You’ve got a good brother there."

As the crowd at the venue grew, Rosemary, sitting in the front row, watched as people began to take their seats.

So were business tycoons, CEOs and vice presidents with long-standing deals with David’s company. Others were veterans of the entertainnt industry. When they spotted Roo, masked and

unassuming, surprise and recognition flickered across their faces.

"Mr. McMillian." Several people wanted to strike up a conversation with Roo.

But Roo, taking Rosemary’s hand, simply nodded in their direction. It was then that the crowd noticed he was accompanied by his girlfriend. Both were clad in sleek black coats, sporting matching black masks. Rosemary’s eyes sparkled youthfully beside the more mature Roo.

It was a revelation to many that the typically stoic Roo had a girlfriend.

And even more surprising that he would bring her to a concert.

With that, they respectfully kept their distance, nodding to Roo in greeting and understanding before taking their seats, careful not to disturb the couple’s date.

To Rosemary’s left was Roo, and to her right should have been Jossie’s spot, followed by their agent’s seat. However, the agent was in the hospital, leaving two seats conspicuously empty.

Behind those seats, two girls arrived fashionably late.

One of them, catching sight of Rosemary, wore an expression of surprise.

She then glanced at the man beside Rosemary. Roo? He was actually accompanying Rosemary to a concert?

"Alma, co on, let’s sit down. The show’s about to start," urged Hannah, a rich girl, pulling Alma to their seats.

Upon hearing the na "Alma," Rosemary turned and, sure enough, found the source of her discomfort.

There was Alma, disguised in a hat and mask, but the bruise on her forehead was unmistakable. Had she been in a fight?

Alma was debating whether to greet Rosemary when, in the next mont, Rosemary turned away, leaning

in to listen to sothing Roo was saying.

Watching them so close together, Alma felt a twinge of discomfort.

"Alma, you haven’t explained these bruises. How did you end up getting beaten up like this? Do your folks know? Have they found out who did it? I an, you’re a Collins. Soone actually had the nerve to attack a Collins, right outside your own ho."

Hannah looked at Alma with concern, clearly upset on her behalf.

"My parents are on it, but no word yet. I have a hunch who’s responsible, though."

At Mr. Eugene’s birthday party, she dumped cake on Serena’s face and caused her to fall off the swing, and she even poured wine all over her.

It had to be Serena seeking revenge.

"That little witch, she’s only good at playing dirty tricks!"

Alma thought, "I swear, once Serena’s kicked to the curb by the Collins family, I’ll make sure she won’t live a comfortable life!"

Sitting in the front row, Rosemary overheard the conversation and sothing clicked. Serena got a beatdown by Roo’s goons, and could it be that Serena thought Alma was behind it, so she had Alma dealt with in the sa fashion?

With that thought, she suddenly felt a twinge of pity for Alma, carrying the can for sothing Roo did.

"Who did it, anyway?" Hannah asked.

"Just so little witch. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure she regrets it!"

And with that, the feud between her and Serena was well and truly cented.

"You’re so banged up, and yet here you are at David’s concert with , you’re the best friend in the whole wide world." Hannah gushed as she clung to Alma’s arm, "I have such a crush on your cousin.

Do you think I’ll ever have a chance to be your cousin-in-law?"

Overhearing from the front row, Rosemary was speechless.

It wasn’t that she wanted to eavesdrop on the conversation behind her, it was just that Hannah’s excitent carried her voice right over.

"Half the crowd here wants to be my cousin-in-law. What do you think?" Alma threw cold water on her without a second thought.

"Could you maybe take backstage later to see him? I want his autograph, a photo!" Hannah wheedled, shaking Alma’s arm.

"Look, my cousin’s got a packed schedule, and he’s going to be dead tired after this show. Don’t bother him, let him rest up."

Alma certainly wasn’t like Serena, pretending to be more than she was.

She and David were on good terms, but she wasn’t about to lose face over sothing so trivial.

"If there’s a family dinner coming up, like my parents’ birthday or sothing, and if he shows up, I’ll let you know in advance and invite you over."

"Deal!" Hannah didn’t see anything amiss with this arrangent. In fact, she was grateful Alma was willing to give her a chance.

Soon, the lights in the venue dimd.

Maybe sensing their idol was about to take the stage, the crowd began to chant his na with fervor,

"David! David! David!"

For Rosemary, it was her first concert, her first ti feeling such an electrifying atmosphere.

"David! David! David!"

The uniform chanting focused a spotlight on the center stage, and there, rising slowly from below, was David in a crisp white performance outfit, looking dashing and debonair. Once he stood firm, a series of stunning lights burst into action.

The fans scread non-stop, waving their blue glow sticks in excitent, their voices deafening.

"David!!"

"David, it’s David!! David, I’m here! I ca to see your concert!"

"David! David! I love you, David!"

Rosemary’s ears were filled with screams, and even the industry bigwigs sitting next to Roo, though they didn’t dare to scream wildly, were equally excited, shouting David’s na and vigorously shaking their glow sticks.

Among them were young female CEOs who had just inherited their companies, entertainnt industry veterans, and prominent female shareholders.
