Jennifer was touched. She hadn’t expected lody to be both comforting and complintary.

[Are you free tomorrow afternoon? I’d like to invite you for tea.]

Maybe realizing the girl was still young, Jennifer added, [Or coffee works too.]

Rosemary gave a light smile, and before she could reply, Jennifer sent another ssage.

[You saved , comforted . No matter what you say, I owe you a drink.]

Rosemary’s slender fingers typed back, [Alright.]

[What ti suits you?] Jennifer asked eagerly.

[Anyti.]

[How about three in the afternoon?]

[Sure.]

[What would you like to drink? Coffee or tea?]

[Either is fine.]

The girl was so easy-going that Jennifer liked her even more and began to look forward to eting her the next day.

[Let find a popular spot. I’ll send you the address later.]

Jennifer sent a happy emoji.

[Alright.]

Rosemary put her phone away after replying to the last ssage.

"What were you chatting about?" At this ti, Roo, who had just finished his work, ca to pick up Rosemary from the mall and casually took the shopping bags from her hands.

He didn’t expect Rosemary would buy so much stuff for his parents, and even more surprising was that she was laughing and chatting with soone on her phone while carrying all these bags.

"A very interesting lady," Rosemary’s eyes softened. "I have to go out tomorrow afternoon."

"To et that lady you ntioned?"

"Mhm."

Roo was confused. Rosemary wasn’t the type to enjoy socializing. What kind of lady could make her take out ti, especially to et?

"How did you guys et?" Roo asked as he opened the car door for her and fastened her seat belt.

"Last night, when I was exchanging music scores."

"You got close so quickly?"

"Mhm, it feels like we’ve known each other before."

She felt very comfortable with the lady, as if they had known each other for a long ti.

"If I knew you were going to The Aurora Haven last night, I would have gone with you," Roo explained. "I own that club now."

Rosemary was sowhat surprised. "Isn’t that Mr. Dylan’s club?" She had happened to save Mr. Dylan before, and the staff at the club were particularly polite to her when she went there afterward.

Later, when she saved the club manager and the waitstaff, they all respected her from the bottom of their hearts.

"Previously, the Hunter family was facing a financial crisis. I helped Mr. Dylan out, and in gratitude, he transferred the club to and decided to focus on his real estate business."

If it wasn’t for Roo, the Hunter family would have been drowning in debt. In fact, there would be no Hunter family in Sumrfield.

"Then why are the manager and staff in the club still the sa people? No one has been replaced?" Rosemary asked further.

"They are familiar with the business and do a good job, so I didn’t replace them."

Rosemary nodded in understanding. If she had known this, she would have gone with him last night, so he wouldn’t have to wait at ho for over an hour.

"You seem pretty chummy with those club people?" Roo glanced at her and asked quietly, "You go there often?"

"Just occasionally."

Rosemary briefly explained what had happened before, and in no ti, they arrived at a restaurant owned by the McMillan Corporation.

In the private room.

Phillip and Shirley sat at the head of the table, checking the ti every now and then.

Standing nearby, Brodie chuckled, "Phillip, Shirley, it’s not ti yet."

George straightened his tie, seed a bit nervous, and cleared his throat.

Jennifer was full of anticipation, wondering what the upcoming daughter-in-law would be like.

Five minutes later, there was a knock on the door.

Everyone turned to look, only to see Roo walking in with a gift in one hand and a girl in the other.

What caught everyone’s eye was a beautiful girl with a distinctive deanor. She had no makeup on, but she was stunningly beautiful, with bright eyes and delicate features.

George and Jennifer were completely stunned at the sight of her.

She looked so much like lody!

"Grandpa, Grandma, Dad, Mom, I brought Rose here," Roo led Rosemary forward and didn’t forget to introduce her: "You’ve t Grandpa and Grandma before. This is Dad and Mom."

George and Jennifer were too stunned to speak. She looked more and more like lody.

"George, Jennifer, this is Rose, Rosemary Collins, whom we’ve ntioned to you often."

Phillip, pleased, suddenly noticed that his son and daughter-in-law didn’t react and couldn’t help but elbow his son, reminding him displeasedly.

"George, say sothing!" He was so talkative at ho before. Why was he mute now?

Was he not satisfied with Rose?

Shirley noticed that the usually eloquent Jennifer was also without a word and couldn’t help but lower her voice to remind her, "Jennifer, what are you dazing at? This is Rose, Roo’s fiancée."

"Nice to et you," Rosemary smiled, seeming to recognize them.

She took the gift from Roo and gave it to her grandparents first. Then she picked up the other two and gave them to George and Jennifer separately.

"This is a small token of my appreciation. I hope you like it."

George didn’t know how he had accepted the gift.

Not only did she look like lody, but her voice was exactly the sa.

"Jennifer, this is for you," Rosemary handed over the gift with both hands.

Jennifer was stunned for a mont before asking incredulously, "Are you lody?"

Rosemary nodded, smiling.

"You really are lody? Is lody my daughter-in-law?" Jennifer was overjoyed. "Dad, Mom, this is the girl I’ve told you about, the one I t on the street!"

Phillip and Shirley were a bit surprised. The smart, beautiful, capable, and kind-hearted girl Jennifer had been talking about was Rose?

"What’s going on?" Phillip and Shirley couldn’t help but ask.

"Well, it’s like this. We thought we hadn’t been back for a while, so we wanted to bring you so gifts. Have you opened our gifts yet?" Jennifer suddenly realized this.

Phillip and Shirley shook their heads in unison. They had just put them away and hadn’t had a chance to take a closer look.

Jennifer knew their habits, so she explained, "Before we returned to Fairfield Manor, George rembered that Dad loves Mirabelle’s paintings. So he made a great effort to contact Mirabelle’s assistant and asked Mirabelle to paint a picture to give to Dad. And guess what? Mirabelle is Rose!"
