Rosemary returned to her room and found a bunch of unread ssages on her phone. She responded to Roo McMillian first.
"I had a visit from a professor at Sumrfield College earlier, but I’ve decided on Westerly College."
Roo quickly gave her a call, his voice filled with surprise and affection. "Was that perfect score in the exam yours?"
Rosemary raised an eyebrow. "News travels fast, huh?" she thought.
The reporters had left less than ten minutes ago, and the news was already everywhere.
"You’re aweso, Rose." Roo praised sincerely.
Rosemary smiled, "You’re not half bad yourself."
Roo was taken aback. So, did Rosemary know all along that he was the perfect scorer from seven years ago? Had she looked it up, or had she noticed back then? "Westerly College is a good choice,
it’s close to ." Roo replied with a chuckle, "I like watching you save people. You look so serious, so beautiful."
"So, I’m not good looking normally?"
"You’re always good looking, but you have a special charm when you’re saving people."
Rosemary smiled, "What if I had chosen a school abroad?,"
"Then I’d move to work abroad. Wherever you are, that’s ho for ."
"Won’t that be tiring?" Rosemary understood that, while communication may be done online or over the phone, dealing with problems would still necessitate going back ho. The back and forth could take

Rosemary could not help but laugh at his words.

She smiled and said, "I prefer soone more mature."
Roo asked eagerly, "Do I, your fiancé, qualify as mature?"
Rosemary answered without hesitation, "You’re pretty mature, but sotis you can be childish."
"Childish?" Roo thought.
"Is it when I’m clingy?" he then asked.
"Mhm."
"Can’t help it, you’re too adorable. Being with you is just so joyful." Roo sincerely said, "I’m so happy, I want to be with you all the ti."
At that mont, Rosemary’s heart felt like a tipped–over honey jar, but she still said, "I need to reply to my brother’s ssage. He’s waiting."
"I’ll call you later then."
"Okay." Rosemary said calmly, "I’ll hang up now."
After hanging up, Rosemary told her brother the good news, then opened up Grandpa Beck’s WhatsApp and replied to a few ssages.
In WhatsApp, there was also a congratulatory ssage from Kelly Piper. After replying, Rosemary opened the next unread ssage
It was from one of her forr teachers.
"Rosemary, I saw the news. You’re amazing! I am so proud of you!"
Rosemary flashed a smile, "Thanks. I was just doing my thing."
Her teacher knew she had always been a brainiac. In the mock exams back at school, she’d ace all the short answers, only avoiding essay writing and long responses.
But this ti, she had to tackle the essays and long answers, so it was not surprising that she got a perfect score.
"I know," her teacher said. "If the total score was a thousand, you’d still ace it! You’re one smart cookie and I’m sure you’ll do great things in the future. Maybe the principal will ask you to give a speech at
school to motivate other students. I hope you’d agree to it."
"Certainly."
After answering her teacher, Rosemary received a news notification. Her story was blowing up online.
Underneath the news, loads of people were dropping comnts. There were over 300k comnts.
"This top student is dope! But why no photos?"
"If her grades are so good, she must be average–looking, right? Is that why the reporters won’t release her photo?"
"Is she a short, chubby girl with a face full of pimples?"

The admissions officer at Westerly College had just returned to school when President Barton put down his teacup and excitedly said, "Quick, post the news that Rosemary has agreed to co to our Westerly College online, in case she changes her mind!"
Hearing this,the admissions officer was surprised, "Would she change her mind? I reminded her several tis before I left to choose our school and not to ss it
up."
If she does change her mind, wouldn’t all the expensive lab equipnt that President Barton bought be a waste?
"What are you waiting for?"
"Yes, sir!"
Rosemary was about to exit the app after browsing the comnts, but then she saw another news.
"Top scorer chooses Westerly College" was suddenly trending at number one!"
Did President Barton release the news so quickly because he was afraid she might change her mind?
Sure enough, President Barton was gloating in the principals group chat, We’ll see Rosemary every day from now on, you old farts can be jealous!"
President Tanner said, "As if you’re not an old fart! Didn’t you invite to be an honorary professor at your school last ti? I am free now, I am coming!"
President Barton replied, "Haha, no need now!"
He was swinging his legs in delight, humming to himself, and looking very pleased.
