It was a huge honor — the award show was one of the biggest in the country, watched by millions. Her na was suddenly everywhere, trending on fan pages and entertainnt sites. It was a mont that should’ve felt like a dream co true and in many ways, it did. But it also ant new interviews, endless fittings, hours of rehearsals, and traveling back and forth for promotions. Plans for the wedding suddenly felt like they were being pulled in a hundred directions.

Lilith stood in front of the long mirror, wearing a stunning red dress that hugged her figure in all the right places. The deep red color made her skin glow, and the soft fabric shone under the lights of the dressing room. Her makeup was flawless tonight, every brush of color on her face was blended perfectly, making her bright eyes stand out and her lips look like blooming roses.
Anyone who saw her would’ve thought she looked like a queen ready to take over the world. But inside, Lilith was biting back a sigh. She checked her phone again, hoping for a new ssage. Nothing.
Tonight was one of the biggest nights of her career, her first ti walking the red carpet for the award show as a nominee. Reporters, caras, fans...all of them would be waiting outside for a glimpse of her. But there was a small problem: she was supposed to walk in with a male co-star or partner.

However, before Lilith could think too much, a sudden knock on her dressing room door made her head snap around. She narrowed her eyes, curious — she wasn’t expecting anyone.
When the door opened, she was genuinely surprised to see Ethan Carter standing there. He had that sa boyish grin on his lips, his hair pushed back just a little too carelessly, and his hands tucked into his pockets like he owned the place.
"Hello~~ Did you miss ?" Ethan drawled dramatically as he stepped inside the room, his eyes shining with playful mischief.
Figures, Ethan thought, trying not to chuckle. Bro really made that actor back out, huh? He doesn’t trust any pretty boy near her.
Lilith raised one perfectly shaped brow, her red lips curling into a slight smirk. "No," she said bluntly, fixing the earring on her ear without even giving him a full glance.
"Hump!" Ethan let out a fake gasp and pouted like a sulking child. He flopped down on the cushioned chair near her makeup table, throwing one leg over the other like he was at ho. "As soon as I landed, guess what?" He rolled his eyes dramatically. "Big brother called right away — told to attend this fancy red carpet with you."
