Chae-eun took a beautiful black watch out of the box. The audience murmured as they confird that it wasn't a model that had been released yet. Arthur explained, and Geon translated.
"This model is a collaboration with Black Silver Falcon and will be released next month. Ms. Chae-eun is the third woman to receive this watch."
Chae-eun's face lit up with a bright smile as she received a product that hadn't even been released yet.
"The third? You an Shizuka already received one, and who's the other person?"
"It's Ms. Kiska Miochichi."
As Kiska's na was ntioned, cheers erupted from the audience. After observing the audience's reaction, Chae-eun paused briefly before continuing.
"A question about Kiska, since she's been ntioned—did she not co to Korea this ti? She's such a cute girl, I really wanted to see her."
Geon answered in Korean to a question about Kiska.
"Yes, Kiska didn't co because she isn't performing; she's in the USA. And she's not a little girl anymore—she's over 170 cm tall now."
The audience was as shocked as Chae-eun.
"My goodness! 170 cm? The last paparazzi photos showed her as a little girl, and you're telling she grew that much in a year? It's unusual even for a Russian to grow that fast."
"It's not that unusual; it’s just surprising to see such a sudden growth, but it's common for Russian girls to reach that height before they turn fifteen."
"Russians are generally tall... Well, it's a bit sad that we won’t see the cute, little Kiska anymore, but I'm also looking forward to seeing how beautiful she's beco as a young lady."
"Hehe, while Kiska isn’t a celebrity and won’t appear on TV, I'll make sure to show you."
As it was said that Kiska wouldn't be on TV, booing ca from the audience.
However, Chae-eun smiled contentedly at the ntion of being shown privately and continued with a triumphant smile.
"Yes, I'm looking forward to it. Now, I have a question for Mr. Kevin Winston."
As Geon handed the microphone to Kevin, realizing it was his turn, the won in the audience scread even louder when the handso Kevin took the mic.
After seeing Kevin wink at the audience, Chae-eun cald the crowd.
"Everyone, calm down. Kevin? Since you’ve been working with Kay, does this an you won’t be active with Montana anymore?"
Kevin smiled at Geon as he answered the question. After a long response from Kevin, which Geon listened to with a warm expression, Chae-eun urged him on.
"Kay? What did Kevin say?"
Geon reached out and put his hand on Kevin's shoulder as he spoke.
"Montana will continue to be active, but his main job is as my bassist. He said he'd even run away from a Montana tour concert if I call him, haha."
Chae-eun's eyes widened.
"Did he really say that? Carlos Montana would be disappointed if he heard that."
"Haha, I tell Carlos the sa thing every day, so he's used to it now."
"Hehe, I see. So, Kevin? What’s your next activity?"
Kevin nonchalantly replied in English.
"Seoul City Hall Square, tomorrow afternoon at 8 o'clock."
Startled by Kevin's words, Geon quickly snatched the microphone from him, but Chae-eun, who understood the simple English, asked,
"Seoul City Hall Square, tomorrow at eight PM? What does that an?"
Geon was visibly flustered. Shizuka and Arthur also seed alard by Kevin’s words, shrugging as they looked at him.
"Why, isn’t it just about what's next?"
Shizuka hissed at Kevin.
"That's supposed to be a secret, you fool!"
Arthur also chid in, wrapping his arm around Kevin’s neck.
"Director Lin said to keep the guerrilla concert a secret, and you just blurted it out!"
Despite the conversation being in English, the majority of Koreans, who have a certain level of English education, understood as they watched the TV.
As Geon struggled to continue, Chae-eun chid in, sensing sothing was off.
"It seems so information not ant to be revealed has co out during translation, what do we do? It's live, so we can't even edit it."
Geon looked back at Byung-joon, who was standing behind the stage curtains, shaking his head and sighing.
After a mont of thought, Byung-joon nodded slightly at Geon, who then took the microphone.
"Uh... well... Kevin accidentally revealed so confidential information. I must have translated
it wrong. I asked him about continuing activities with Montana, and he casually ntioned his next schedule. Haha."
Geon laughed as he looked at the audience, but nobody laughed with him; they were all focused intently on his words. Realizing everyone was only looking at him, Geon licked his lips and exclaid,
"Ah, forget it!"
Geon stood up and announced,
"That's all from us! See you tomorrow at Seoul City Hall Square at eight PM! Everyone!! It's a free concert!! Run, kids!"
With that, Geon quickly dropped the microphone and ran off the stage, followed by Shizuka, Kevin, and Arthur.
Chae-eun reached out to grab Geon but was too late; he had already sprinted away, leaving her flustered as she turned to look at Ji-hyeon.
Ji-hyeon also seed perplexed, hesitating until Seok-jin's voice ca through the walkie-talkie.
"There's still seven minutes left in the broadcast! Ms. Chae-eun! Sing a song or sothing!"
Startled by Seok-jin's words through her earpiece, Chae-eun unwittingly grabbed the microphone and said,
"Uh... well, it seems anything can happen during a live broadcast. I kindly ask for the viewers’ understanding. Then... I'll sing a song."
As the stage ended in disarray, with the audience murmuring louder and the staff hurriedly moving about, the curtain at the back of the stage subtly opened, revealing Geon's face.
Looking around uncertainly, Chae-eun glared and grabbed the microphone.
"Hey! Kim Geon! Aren't you coming back quickly?"
Geon, hiding behind the curtain, responded,
"I won't ask any more questions if you don't. I'm getting scolded here."
Laughter burst from the audience, who were unaware that the situation was genuinely unplanned and believed it to be a carefully calculated performance.
As the unsuspecting audience continued to laugh, Chae-eun dry-swallowed and gestured impatiently.
"Alright, co back quickly!"
"Really?"
"I said okay!"
Doubtful, Geon hesitated before approaching, and the audience laughed again at the sight.
Geon and Chae-eun exchanged questions and answers, filling the remaining seven minutes of the broadcast and closing with Chae-eun receiving applause as she stepped down from the stage.
The group then moved to a hotel restaurant for a celebratory dinner, settling into the VIP room and starting to eat. Chae-eun stuck close to Geon, asking how he had been and about his health.
At the dinner, Yeong-seok, Seok-jin, and Ji-hyeon joined the group. Ji-hyeon got Geon's autograph and took photos with him, causing a stir among the writers who hadn't been invited to the dinner, as she sent the photos to the group chat and laughed at the writers’ jealous reactions.
Everyone was enjoying the dinner when Chae-eun, who had stepped away to the restroom, returned to find Yeong-seok in her seat, his hand on Geon's shoulder.
"So, you're graduating soon, huh? The sester has already ended, right?"
"I think it ends the day after tomorrow. I didn't take any classes this sester, so I'm not sure when it ends. But since I released an album, graduation won't be a problem."
"That's good, you kept your promise to graduate."
"Hehe, yes. It was a promise I made with you, hyung."
"That's right, you worked hard. But can I ask a couple of questions?"
"What is it?"
Yeong-seok held up two fingers.
"There are two questions. If it's difficult to answer, don't."
Geon smiled brightly.
"Even if it's a difficult question, you're not going to talk about it elsewhere, are you, hyung? Go ahead."
"Haha, okay. Uh... First, what's this about tomorrow at City Hall Square?"
"Ah... that."
Geon glared at Kevin, who was obliviously scooping up food, and then spoke.
"It was supposed to be a guerrilla live performance, but Kevin spilled the beans. We're performing there tomorrow."
"Really? Without broadcasting? Why would soone like you do a live show without involving the dia?"
"Um... Last ti during the Leopard tour, we also did a guerrilla performance in Korea. I guess it's because it’s my holand; I just want to share my music with as many people as possible."
"Is that so? Then... are all the mbers who were on today's broadcast participating?"
Yeong-seok's question elicited a mischievous smile from Geon.
"That's a secret."
Yeong-seok furrowed his brow, but realizing that an employee like Geon couldn't just divulge such details, he dismissed his curiosity and moved on
.
"Okay, second question."
Yeong-seok glanced at the end of the table where Yun-jeong and Jin-yeon were chatting with Seo.
"How did those two et?"
Since YDN had not publicly disclosed how Yun-jeong and Jin-yeon ca to be involved, they were officially just contacts that Geon had first reached out to in Korea.
Yeong-seok, who was also unaware of the details, naturally believed the sa. Geon was about to spin a vague story when the door to the VIP room slid open, and a middle-aged man in a neat suit appeared.
Yun-jeong and Jin-yeon gasped and jumped up from their seats, while the others, not understanding the situation, focused their attention on the man at the door.
The middle-aged man bowed deeply and said,
"Excuse . I have sothing urgent to discuss with Kay."
Recognizing the man, Yeong-seok stood up and extended his hand.
"Why, what brings you here, President Kim Chang-han?"
Kim Chang-han barely acknowledged Yeong-seok's greeting as he focused on Geon, causing Geon to glance at Byung-joon with a stern expression before rising from his seat.
"Let's go to the next room for a mont. Yun-jeong, Jin-yeon. Just you two follow ."
As Geon, Yun-jeong, and Jin-yeon headed to the adjacent room, Yeong-seok turned to Byung-joon.
"What's YDN's President Kim Chang-han doing here?"
Byung-joon shook his head in disapproval before getting up and following Geon to the next room.
Unable to get an answer from him, Yeong-seok grimaced as Seok-jin chuckled and handed him a drink.
