Lenny sat closed eyes in mid air. The battle was over.
It had been over now, for almost two days. At first after the death of the devil King, the she devil had tried to consu the Body of the devil king, but most of it was filled with poion, and the parts that were not were according to her, ’Disgusting.’
This ant that lenny was left with the spoils of war.
Of course, for now, lenny did not need it. After all, he had also grown significantly. He no longer needed to consu the body or the Heart blood of the organism. Just the Core or the heart was enough.
The she devil had long left lenny to do his thing. After killing the devil king, he automatically beca the ruler of this dungeon, including lord of the devil minions on all Level. that was just how hierarchy in this world worked.
However, at the mont, Lenny could not be bordered with that. he had more important things on his mind. For example, he was challenging the bottleneck into the Greater Demon realm.
Up until this point, entering into another realm had always been very easy, after all, he had a trace of the blood of the morningstar in his veins.
he was an unbelievable genius. Coupled with the mories of other creatures he had consud as a result of feeding on their core, he was indeed flying a safe trip through the ranks.
However, there was just sothing about the Greater Demon rank that just did not seem right. According to the mories that he had gotten from the Devil Bosses and even the Devil king, as long as he did it in a certain way, it should work, but it just was not enough.
he had enough cosmic energy, he had enough Holy power, and he could literally feel the bottleneck like a thin transparent film. However, breaking through this film was a bit of a problem.
lenny had hit hard again and again, trying to break through it with only brute force. Brute force was not doing it. Even the rush of magic power was not enough.
He knew that he could not continue this way, and so instead of continuing the challenge, he stayed away from the wall as he tried to comprehend the reason why he could not advance into the next stage.
It was at such a ti that he realized that he was feeling a bit heavy. when he consentrated on that heavy feeling, he realized that he was carrying a lot of weight.
But where was the weight coming from?
Lenny, in his mind’s eye looked behind himself and then he could see it clearly. It was an incomplete puzzle piece, having strings that held his advancent in place, continually strengthening the wall that prevented him entering into the Greater Demon realm.
On seeing these incomplete puzzle pieces, a realization of what they were hit him in the head. These were the laws that he had absorbed from the other Devil Bosses but had not yet comprehended.
Now, they were the ones preventing his advance.
"Hmmm! I see." He muttered to himself. And so lenny turned back. Instead of challenging the walls, he was going to challenge the Law fragnts.
And so one by one, they ca after him.
The first law fragnt was the one he had gotten from the Devil Boss of the first Level. lenny rembered that the world created buy this devil probably had the most amount of rules within it.
Yes, it did. As Lenny’s incredible mind moved, fixing the puzzles in different spots, he could not help but understand that this law had what he tagged to be the condition of ’3’.
But this law called the condition of 3 also had with it a set of self imposed rules. Looking even closer, it was like a mine field of unsolved mathematical equations opened up before his eyes.
There were at least a hundred thousand of them.
Instantly, lenny understood why those demons rather passed their Arcane skill through their bloodline, allowing the younger generation to cheat their way into power.
After all, it was indeed not easy to comprehend the several mathematical formations that was needed to attain such level of power, and this was only one law out of the millions that made up the cosmos.
However, Lenny could not help but smile at the challenge. Even without his m emories completely intact, he felt a sense of communion with the equations before his eyes. After all, he ca from a world where exploring the boundaries of mathematics was considered a priviledge.
’The Entire Universe Operates On Maths’ Those words were Einstein’s.
Truly, those great n and won of the science world in his forr world were up to sothing.
Lenny was an assassin, but his trade in the modern world was not just enough when it ca to killing. After all, anyone could hold a gun and shoot it at another person, but it truly took one the ability to calculate at an exemplary level for it to be considered clean, smooth, and in so cases, blad on everyday accidents.
For this, the bests at the trade had to go deep on the science path.
As the person that ca out on top of it all, he was one that had embraced the science world through and through.
Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics... As long as it had to do with the exploration of the known world, lenny would dig his head into it.
And thus, his ability to be able to touch the edges of the world and take advantage of its secrets.
Lenny nodded at the equations before his eyes. He started with the first one. racking his mind and using a bunch of formulas that he could rember to attack the problem.
But unfortunately, it did not work. Just when he thought maybe sothing was wrong, he realized that he had been going too far and too deep.
Sotis, the answer to the problem was just right before you.
Lenny flashed back to the fight with the first Boss Devil. In its semi-Arcane domain, the sun would do a count down from ’3’.
Lenny smiled, "So that is it. The Rule Of three, huh!? That is much simpler than I thought.
The Rule Of three was a mathematical formulae that helps to quickly solve both direct and inverse proportion word problems.
In other to use the rule of 3, three values are needed. Two of which are proportional to one another and a third value.
Lenny’s smile blood even further into a chuckle. figuring out the answer to a mathematical problem was always good.
In this manner, Lenny waved his hands, stretching his incredible mind to the limit.
By now, lenny’s mind could compete with that of a computer. He had evolved that far and his mind had also absorbed a lot more than any human brain.
One by one, he began to solve the equations. However, if any normal person were to see him do what he was doing, they would think he was an Artificial intelligence that was showing off to other computers.
The speed at which he processed each one was incredible. For every one solved, he would absorb it.
And soon, in no ti, he had solved it all, and in essence, he had made the fraction of a law is own. Lenny had absorbed it into his mind.
The mont that he did, he heard a crack from behind him.
Lenny looked behind and that was when he saw it. The thin film that prevented him from entering the Greater demon realm was cracked.
He nodded in understanding.
It was the Law fragnts he was carrying. He had to solve them and absorb them all.
Knowing this, he move dover to the next law.
The second devil Boss used Crystals. His law fragnt was not as mathematically draining as the first one. However, when lenny tried going at it, the Crystal puzzle did not work.
For a while, Lenny walked around it, checking to see if he had missed any thing. However, he could not find anything wrong. However, he rembered how he had solved the first one.
It was actually more basic than he thought it was.
"Crystal’s ehhh! It would seem like I would have to touch a bit on the First Principle of the Crystal structure of solids." However, there were certain thods that he could not use to break down this Crystal formation.
After all, unlike other crystals, it was not naturally forming, but rather as a result of magic and blood. A bright idea suddenly ca into his head.
"Of course, Pauling’s five rules for Predicting and rationalizing the crystal structures of ionic compounds."
On thinking this far, Lenny waved his hands, separating the Cations anions of the Crystal formation. He had to know how much of it was natural forming through magic, the amount that was blood...
(Author’s note: I apologize guys, i think I got carried away, and showed a bit of my nerdy side. I’ll back down on it a bit, but I really wanted you guys to understand how complicated cosmic laws are, and why Lenny is soooo Lenny.)
