"You wounded... yourself?" The devil spoke up shakily in realization of what had just happened.
Lenny nodded, "Yes I did!" He reached for his back as he pulled out the Dagger lugged deep within him.
This dagger was a long one. It was lugged so deep that it was only an inch away from Lenny’s heart.
The devil stamred a bit, "...are... are you really human!?" This question was directed at the risk lenny had taken at his own life to ensure success.
"I knew the tir resets every count down, but I was not sure how dangerous the wound was for the laws of this world to let have my turn. A scratch on the wrist won’t cut it. After all, all the other tis, the wound had had been deep and nearly fatal." Lenny suddenly leaned in at the eye that was slowly fading away, losing its life, "when I go out, I go all out!"
The devil eye, a greater devil existence suddenly disappeared leaving behind a core. However, this core was not like the conventional one that Lenny was used to.
This core was black as night and one look at it, and any one would feel a bit of disgust, but Lenny could not be picky. After all, on a normal day, he would have not been able to beat a greater devil existence like he had did. If this devil had not been so foolish and greedy with the need to eat Lenny alone as to open its semi-Arcane Domain, exerting such terrible rules that limited its own power, this victory would not have been possible.
Lenny could instantly tell that he had won not just because of his cunny, but because of a lack of exposure that the devil had to the outside world.
After all, the laws one learnt were significantly dependent on the environnt there were exposed to.
When Lenny had co to this area having the Devil dungeon, he had noticed that for a long mile in all directions, it was barren. It was obvious that the world that the devil had created was a derivation of the location of the Devil dungeon when its chaos magic had not corrupted everything in a mile radius.
Lenny picked up the core. But could not help but frown a bit. After all, he was told that he could get treasures in dungeons. According to his knowledge, this usually happened after one had defeated the Boss of a level.
Even though he defeated the boss before the minions, this should still be the case. However, only the core appeared. He took the core. It was small, and easy to swallow. The mont he did, his body greedily absorbed the Chaos magic and he could feel his power grow.
At the sa ti, a realization suddenly hit him. But before he could say it, the Satan system ntioned it.
Just as Lenny was trying to comprehend the aning of this, it happened.
All of a sudden, Lenny felt a burn in his chest and he fell to the ground. This burn was from the purple flas in his soul acting up.
He raised his head and looked around him. Just as he had thought, the domain was slowly fading away. As it did, so did the laws that governed the world.
His injuries had started to resurface. This included the broken limp and the broken ribs that had yet to heal. Even his mories were fading away.
Lenny frowned, "with or without mories, I am still Lenny Tales!" He raised his hand and PUNCHED himself so hard that he knocked out a teeth. Don’t forget that!"
The mont he said this, he activated two skills, the first one was WILL and the Second one was BERSERKER.
Instantly, he focused his attention as he dashed for the exit of the dungeon.
As he did this, he could simultaneously feel himself forget his past, himself, and then, just as he fell out of the dungeon, he rolled on the ground tumbling again and again.
Finally, he stopped deactivating Will and Berserker.
It was weird, but the current Lenny rembered the things that happened inside the Semi-Arcane Domain, including the fact that he had recovered his mories. However, what those mories were, he could not recall. It was as if the part of himself that had managed to connect with one another was torn again, but familiar and unfamiliar.
And then two things kicked in. The first was the Choas core of a greater Devil that he had just absorbed, and the second was the Purple fla poison in his soul.
One was his body adjusting to the power, feeding his growth and his climb, while the second one was trying to eat at his soul.
At such a ti, when his body felt like it was trying to divide itself into multiple pieces, his eyes suddenly gazed on his forearm. Right there was writing. A set of instructions.
Lenny rembered leaving instructions on his own body, but what those instructions were, he did not rember.
The first instruction was, "Channel all the Chaos magic into weaving these Runes...."
The Pain was teeth gnashing, and without his mories, he did not rember the technique that allowed him to change pain into pleasure.
However, with no other choice, he imdiately willed, controlling the potion that was the chaos energy that his body was trying to absorb, weaving them into the runes that had been drawn on his forearm.
The mont he did, the runes reacted with the three remaining Fate Runes, rushing into his soul to seal the Purple fla poison that was burning his soul.
All of sudden, Lenny felt so much relief that he nearly passed out, but he refused to fall for the temptation. After all, this was not the place.
He looked at his forearm. There was more instructions. Now that he thought about it, he raised his shirt and there, at every corner of his body was instruction step by step on a number of things he was supposed to do.
But for now, the most important of them all was this, "Improve your cultivation Rank!"
