Still whispering, Lenny answered him, "My son. Where is he?" Father black's eyes shut open. After all, that information was a very classified one. Not even the other council mbers at the table knew of this, and yet, this was the first thing Lenny asked for on entering the territory.
Father Black looked at Lenny in the eyes. he sighed a bit. he had really wanted to keep this matter a secret and for a long ti too. But he was a smart man and knew that he could not lie to Lenny.
"Co with !" He spoke up and Lenny followed behind him. As he did, Minnie followed after him. Her brows frowned a little. She had her own plans in mind. Clawed could not enter the territory because it was a witch's territory and he was a pure breed Demon unlike his sister Vinegar that could force her way in because of her heritage. Victor also did not go with them, staying behind because he was needed.
Lenny imdiately followed after Father Black, they took a car that carried them directly to the center of the territory. This region was housed by a huge building the shape of Cone.
Only authorized personnel were allowed to go into this place. of course, that was all the council mbers that were in charge of the Territory.
This was also the building that housed the Crystal Sphere that father black had planned to use. Nevertheless, what was above was but a ans to hide what was deep below the earth. The guards in this area dressed in full black with the badge of the territory on their chest saw father Black's approach and saluted him. Lenny also had his own fa in this territory and they also saluted him. Father black suddenly paused and turned to lenny, "Are you sure you want her to co along." he pointed to Minnie.
Lenny nodded, "Like I said, she is with ." Father Black nodded and carried on his way.
They walked in uninterrupted, and Father Black used his gate card key to access the elevators that took them down below. However, on getting to the last floor, Father black opened a panel next to the elevator buttons, and a retina Scanner ca up.
He looked into it and his Retina was scanned.
"Secret Level. Access granted!" A female chanical voice was heard. The doors opened up and Father black led the way.
This place had a different atmosphere about it. It was only a corridor, but it gave lenny the feeling like he was walking through a sci-fi Horror movie. This was most especially true because the lights were poor in this place. Father black chuckled a bit, "Please forgive the poor lighting system. We had to divert most of the power in the territory to the core so that we can teleport in case of ergencies."
Lenny nodded in understanding. He did not mind the lighting. Soon, they got a door and father Black had to scan his retina again.
They were allowed in. This room had the strong sll of dicine. And the sound of machines and monitors beeping from ti to ti could be heard. The room was as huge as half a football field and there in the center of it all were nurses attending to a person in a tube. This person was none other than Glenn. The Cut in her neck that had taken her life was still there.
This was her dead body. Nevertheless, tubes were connected to her body from multiple sides. these tubes sent fluids into her body. So red, so green, and so dark red. But that was not all. The center of her body was left open, neatly carved open to display the child within, which was also in another tube. This child was obviously a boy, and had hair as white as snow. He looked so innocent and without bla. Father Black explained that they tried to remove the child from its mother, but due to so unique circumstances, he nearly died. Therefore, they had to animate her body, simulating life so that the child may survive.
At the sa ti, it kept the territory functioning. After all, this territory needed glenn to keep functioning. They did not have her anymore, but there still had her child. "Because you are an half born, the gestation period of your child is shorter. The child does not need nine months before he was born." father black continued his explanation. "I reckon that glenn knew she was pregnant even before you left, but kept it from you."
lenny thought back to that day when Glenn had told him good bye at the edge of the territory. She did ntion that they could have a good life if he had stayed with her. A good family life. But Lenny had refused. Now, it made sense to Lenny why she would say that. Although she wanted a life with him, she did not want to hold her man down from accomplishing his goals. She knew that she would be doing more harm than good to him. Even if it was at the cost of the child she carried. According to the normal tiline on earth, it had indeed only been about two months since that ti till now. Soon, the child would be born. "She hide the child from you, and the rest of us with magic. But when she died, and lady vinegar hurried us back to the territory, I had imdiately noticed the belly bump. I have seen a lot of dead people, and none have had a belly bump after death. Therefore, I conducted an autopsy and I found him."
On Saying this, father Black had a bright smile on his face. it was as if he was expecting lenny to praise him. After all, he had indeed done an incredible thing. However, what happened next surprised him to his core. Lenny walked over to the child in the tube and then he....
