Nicky's mind seed to suddenly co to the realization of what Lenny was doing.
Instantly, she turned to Father Black, "He is luring her in!"
"Huh!?" Scarface could not believe what his daughter just said.
According to what she just said, Lenny was Luring Loren in.
But as far as he was concerned, that did not make any sense to him.
He had been a man unfortunate enough to be in a lot of bar fights before he ca to this place.
That was how he was blessed with his scars.
However, he had never seen such a situation where a person allowed themselves to be injured just to deceive the opponent.
Father Black suddenly chuckled, "You know, I can guess what you are thinking, Scarface. And trust , battles are not always fought the way you Rugrats fight."
The mont Father Black began talking, everyone turned to him.
"Father Black, I heard from so of the brothers that you used to be an army veteran before the apocalypse. Please, can you enlighten us?" Scarface asked very politely.
Father Black turned to Scarface and gave a shallow grin, exposing a bit of his uneven teeth. "I was not just in the Army; I was a Navy seal, boy!"
"HUH!?" Both father and daughter gasped.
All of them lived normal lives before this place and before the apocalypse.

Hearing that he was once a Navy seal suddenly made a lot of sense as to why he was so feared and respected and why Washboard, no matter how hard he tried, could never take over the town.
It was general knowledge that Father Black had incredible instincts and always made the best of his judgnt.
However, none knew that those judgnts were based on the existence of such experiences.
Naval seals were known to be the model for superhumans in the old world.
It is said that during their training, a good sixty percent dropped out in the first week.
For the first six weeks, they were allowed only three hours of sleep daily, and even that was spread out and not joined together. aning that their minds were always on the verge of total collapse and the brick of madness, all of which was accompanied by intense suffering in the body.
Their training conditions were always the worst.
Either it was too cold or it was too hot.
They were practically trained like the spartan people of old.
After nine months of intense suffering and excruciating physical torture, they were released into the wild world as special defenders for their nation.
At the end of their training, less than four percent of the initial number ever make it to graduation.
Scarface and Nicky both rembered the awful stories about the Navy Seals and the terrible things they accomplished in the na of their country.
Instantly, the image of Father Black was made bigger in their eyes.
Father Black chuckled, "Scarface, tell , do you rember those old boxing shows we used to watch in the old world?"
Scarface thought for a bit. After all, it had been many, many years.
He nodded, "Of course!"
"Tell , how many tis has a person you thought would win a fight actually won?"
Father Black did not need to say any more.

However, such a system of battling was so old that he actually forgot about its existence.
In battles, there were a lot of factors to consider.
It was not all about strength. Even factors like wind change or even slight dust in the eyes could change how the match unfolds.
It was true that the stronger a person beca, the less those other factors influenced a fight.
However, if a person was capable of making use of those external factors to his advantage, then an incredible sight would unfold.
Just the fact that Lenny could lure in Loren was proof that he had incredible training, battle experience, and foresight.
The fact that he could allow her to wound him was evidence that he had endurance and tolerance for suffering.
And the fact that he could calculate the angles and ensure that her attacks did not do any more damage than was necessary was evidence that his capture of those unseen factors was at a frightening level.
Father Black explained with such fervor and praise that his eyes sparkled.
And just then, as they watched, Loren suddenly moved.

A slight but inconceivable smile stained the side of his mouth.
This action of his was only noticed by one other person, and that was Father Black.
Just as the blade was about to pierce through, Lenny shifted his point of balance slightly, and then he leaned forward.
*Slush!* The Claw pierced through, right into Lenny's sturdy chest.
The mont this happened, Father Black no longer looked.
Instead, he relaxed against the vehicle and popped out a cigarette to smoke.
This action of his took Scarface and Nicky by surprise.
Father Black could very well see their reactions.
He cracked a aningful smile at both of them as he took a deep whiff of the cigarette.
Letting the smoke fill his lungs before spitting them out.
