With Lenny heading towards the tower, Hector, Athena and Perseus had gotten themselves together to fight off other demons on the ground.
Athena had long wiped her tears clean. This was not the mont that she should be sobbing.
A fight was at hand. She knew this more than anyone.
Instantly, she removed her two Short swords and began her massacre.
This was the sa thing for her other teammates.
The Chira insects also attacked the demons, tearing them like a book sprinkled with at oil against a hungry dog's teeth.
All kinds of Chira ants ran rappant, and it was not surprising to see demon parts or Chira parts flying in the air.
Blood of different color stained the ground.
By now the air was already pungent with the wonderful sll of innards, blood and slowly rotting flesh.
However, this was the battlefield, and this was the nature of this world.
Dominance was strictly displayed by one's strength.
Perseus made a jump in the air as he stabbed his sword on the ground. He Activated his Darkline energy, sending electricity through the ground all the way to a group of advancing demons.
The ground was already soaked with blood. It made for easy conductor to electrocuting the demons.
However, it was not enough.
Fortunately, Hector was available.
He had been transford into what he was now as a result of the Chaos pill. While it disfigured him, it allowed him the fortunate ability to beco a force on the battlefield that no one would one to ss with.
His long Sharp claws were the weapon of destruction he used against his enemies.
demons ca in different shapes and sizes, and so looked to almost be shapeless.
However, hector was very generous in sharing the attention of his claws amongst all of them.
At the mont, he was the second strongest after lenny.
This was as a result of his latest advancent in strength and the combination of the Chaos pill.
For this reason, he led the advance, especially targeting any Demon he thought to be too strong for the others to handle.
However, there was only so much ground he could cover, and as one would expect, he prioritized helping Athena over Perseus.
the demons were getting quite much for them to handle. It was not that they attacks were all that strong. It was just the number.
It was starting to get too much.
At this point, Hector was already contemplating using the Voice of Bedlam again. In fact, he was not just contemplating it.
He could actually hear a subtle voice in his head telling him to do it. Whispering to him that it was the only way.
he would have done too, if not that Athena was not close to him.
So far, she had been the only one capable of handling the blast from the Voice of Bedlam. But that was when he was in his human form. He was really not sure that If her defenses would be able to handle the blast with the additional boost from the Chaos pill.
Again and again, that voice in his head begged him to release it. It was like a subtle call to commit chaos and it hungered for destruction. This was destruction that was only slightly held at bay as a result of the killings he was currently committing.
Subconsciously, his moves increased and beca much faster as he so desperately wanted to do more to satisfy that call and hunger that was slowly beginning to drown his own mind.
Hector did not know this, but his red pupils were slowly splitting. They were starting to beco two for each eye. It was as if sothing was trying to awaken within him.
Just then, he heard a loud shout of his na.
"HECTOR!!!" Instantly, his pupils returned to their normal form.I think you should take a look at
He turned behind. Athena was on the ground.
"Athena!" he quickly ran to her, "are you okay?"
However, she looked at him puzzled, "Are YOU okay?" she asked back.
What Hector did not know was that while he fought so fervently, he had accidently hit Athena instead of protecting her, and only a second ago when she had scread his na, he had turned to her, and although she had not seen the change in his pupils, she had seen his smile.
It was like a rabid dog that had seen fresh at.
A few drops of saliva even leaked from his mouth.
"Yes! I am fine!" he nodded.
Just then, a demon jumped over with its long claws aiming at them.
Hector imdiately covered Athena with his body.
*BANG!*
A loud hamring sound was heard and then ca loud, unbridled laughter.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Yes! I love this hamr so much." Crusher brought the hamr to his face and gave it a deep kiss. Even though it was stained with demon blood and gut all over, he did not care.
Athena looked at him with a brow up.
"WHAT!? You guys get to smooch on the battlefield but I don't!?" Crusher gave her a side-eye.
It was at this point that Watch Eye erged as the beast he had so willingly beco.
Everyone turned to this Fifty ters high revenge-filled monster.
Again and again, The attacks ca ceaselessly.
"LE...NNY... TALES!!!" the Blob of Flesh scread out Lenny's na, and it echoed loudly.
It attacked Lenny, and prevented him from advancing towards the Tower.
This was an incredible abomination.
And if not for it having incredibly slow speed, it would crush Lenny by now.
Lenny frowned. He needed to get into the tower but this monster was obstructing his path.
"Insect-B!!!" Lenny Scread.
"Yes, Father! I'm on it."
All of a sudden, Chira ants flew over and dropped well-wrapped children on the Blob of flesh.
As they did, Lenny imdiately blew them up.
*ROAR!*
Watch Eye roared loudly. Obviously, he was in pain.
But whether the human bombs were going to be enough was an entirely different matter.
However, what happened next surprised everyone.
The middle inverted Eye suddenly glowed a bright red...
(Author's note: What!? with the rate of chapters I'm spitting, Cliffhangers are necessary...LOL.)
