Allison was about to loose her life when she was suddenly pulled into a nexus by a hand. Enel was surprised by this, but before he could go after her, he felt a pull from behind and he was similarly pulled into another nexus.
he tried to go out the hole he had been pulled into, but it imdiately closed up. just then, he noticed the environnt he had been pulled into.
This was a house, but the design was definitely that of a demon or a demonic family. And then he began to hear voices. He turned around and there it was. Demons looked to be singing and celebrating. This was a feast.
In the middle was a human that had been stuffed like a pig. The dead boy even had a huge red tomato stuffed in his exposed mouth. demons never saw human beings as anything but cattle—lower species that were claid to be more perfect than they were.
As such, this much was expected. Instinctively, Enel took on a battle position. His hands had runes that ford two long swords.
However, he suddenly paused. Sothing was not right here. In total, there were eight demons. All of whom were celebrating a younger demon, but most peculiar was the fact that none of them noticed he was there.
they all still celebrated, tearing the at of the human as they feasted on the dead boy.
Enel slowly walked over to them. He waved in front of the eyes of one of them, but the demon did not react. And then he did the sa thing for another. It was the sa thing.
By now, Enel had co to the realization that they did not know that he was here.
But then he frowned as he reached to touch them, but his hand went through like trying to catch cloud.
Just then, a voice ca from behind him.
"There are just mories of a predestined fate. Made and governed by the cosmos. They have either happened, or are yet to happen. Either ways, you will get nothing from disturbing it."
Enel imdiately turned about to the voice, his weapons raised again for battle. this person was not like the demon scene. This person could definitely see and touch him. But That was not the only reason he had his guard up. It was because of the identity of the person involved.
This was none other than Naamah. She was a sister of Eve. One of the few people to have tasted from the tree of knowledge.
She was also blind, but that did not an that she was handicap. After all, Enel had witnessed her abilities first hand. Back then as Lenny, he had fought her when his power was at the greater demon rank and she had still significantly kicked his ass.
Now, his power was far lacking.
She sensed his uneasiness, but she did not mind him. her eyes did not face him. Clearly, she was still very blind. However, her ears were very attentive to him.
"You know, when I heard your foot step, I had doubted that it was truly you. But now, I can tell that it is you... Lenny Tales. To think that the Sisters of fate even hid such an important information from us. But..." she paused a bit, and her ears twitched. As if she was listening to the very vibrations in the air. "Sothing is not right.... You have lost your cultivation... No! You are new. Your body... Its your own. Your soul is still the sa but you are a new you."
Her brows lifted in realization, "You did not survive that day, did you. You died when the accursed Morningstar was reborn, but so how, you managed to be reborn." She smiled. "You lucky bastard! You were reborn twice... OH! OH!! that must have really pissed off the fates. No wonder they sent their most dangerous weapon to end you."
Enel did not know what was going on, but he could tell from just the way she was talking, that Naamah seed to have been isolated from the rest of the world. If not, with her gift, she would have long figured out that he was in the world.
Just this brief conversation with her was evidence that she had not lost her gift of knowledge.
"You pulled in here?" He asked.
"Yes I did. I had no choice. You and your... Female," she spat out that last part with a bit of obvious jealousy, "...are the only ones to have visit this part of the soul realm in hundred years. We had no choice. We had long beco desperate."
"You took Allison!? Return her, or I Swear... I’ll carve out your heart." he bellowed.
"Ouch... And to think I and my sister once shared my bed with you."
"I am not joking, WITCH!"
She raised her head in his direction. From the energy coming from him, she could tell that he was not strong enough to face her. Even back then, he was not, but for so reason, she thought it wise to not push him further.
After all, Enel was not normal.
"Don’t worry, she is alright. I have brought no harm to her. Also, we are in the nexus of a fate. That monster out there cannot sense us here. But if you let your power flair up, it will tear the nexus apart. Co with !"
She turned, not waiting for him to follow her. Enel hesitated a bit. He knew that the sisters of Eve were on the side of the Fates. But he could tell that she did know this place a lot more than him and he did not want to face that monster out there.
There was also the fact that he was at a loss of a thod to fight it.
He followed after her, but he still had his guard up. None that had ate from the tree of knowledge could be trusted.
As they moved, she spoke.
"The Fates betrayed us..."
