From the shadows, a figure staggered forward. At first glance, it resembled one of the villagers—its fra thin and hunched, its skin the sa earthy tone. But as it erged into the faint light, its unnaturalness beca clear.

Its eyes were dull and lifeless, staring forward without focus. Its movents were jerky, as though strings were pulling it along. And though its mouth never moved, a hollow, echoing voice filled the room, sending chills down the spines of everyone present.

"Offer yourselves to ," the voice demanded, reverberating as if spoken from the depths of a cavern. "You cannot escape. You cannot resist. Submit, and you will know peace."

Lana’s eyes widened slightly, her hands instinctively moving to prepare a spell, while Allison growled low, her claws flexing in readiness.

Enel, however, didn’t flinch. Instead, he tilted his head, studying the creature with a mixture of curiosity and disdain. His smirk deepened, his crimson eyes gleaming with a dangerous light. "This is your ’god’?" he asked, his tone mocking as he gestured toward the shambling figure. "I’ve seen trash heaps with more divinity."

The creature twitched at his words, its head jerking unnaturally to face him. Its voice rose in volu, the echoes becoming harsher, as if trying to overwhelm the room. "You will bow, or you will be consud!"

Enel laughed, a cold, sharp sound that cut through the air like a blade. "Consud?" he repeated, taking a step forward. "I think you’ve misunderstood sothing, puppet. I don’t bow, and I don’t offer myself to anyone. Least of all to sothing as pathetic as you."

The creature’s head tilted, its lifeless eyes focusing on Enel as the tendrils on the walls began to stir again, slithering with renewed aggression. Enel remained unfazed, his stance relaxed but poised for action.

"Tell ," he continued, his voice calm but laced with venom. "Do you even know what you are? Or are you just another plaything for whatever parasite is controlling you?"

Enel’s mind buzzed with activity as he silently called upon the Satan System. His voice was sharp in thought.

"Analyze this creature. Cross-reference it with the data from the corpse I dissected in the city. Find a weakness."

The System whirred to life, quick and precise.

A smirk spread across Enel’s face, the sharp glint in his eyes returning. He turned to Talkling, his tone teasing yet laced with deadly intent. "Tell , Talkling," he began, his voice dripping with mock curiosity, "do you want to kill a god?"

Talkling froze, confusion etched across his face. "What... what do you an?"

Enel didn’t answer imdiately. Instead, he turned to Lana, his voice taking on a commanding tone. "Lana, no Darkline energy. Use Holy energy instead. Keep it at bay while I cook up sothing nice."

Lana hesitated for a brief mont before nodding, her hands starting to glow with a soft, radiant light. Unlike the ominous darkness of her usual power, this energy was warm and pure, but it lacked the ease of her control.

With a battle cry, Lana launched herself toward the creature. The glowing tendrils lashed out at her, slithering through the air with terrifying speed, but the mont they neared her Holy energy, they recoiled with a shrill hiss. The creature shrieked in echoed pain, but still, it pressed its assault.

Lana gritted her teeth, blocking and countering the attacks. Her Holy energy flared with each movent, but the strain was visible on her face. She shouted back at Enel, frustration in her voice. "Enel, hurry up! I’m not a natural at this like you!"

Behind her, Enel stood calm but focused, his hands weaving through the air with practiced precision. Runes appeared before him, glowing white-hot as he drew them with swift movents, each line of power forming into a complex matrix.

Lana cursed under her breath as the light around her hands faltered. Her energy sputtered, and a tendril shot toward her, seizing the mont. She gasped, bracing for the impact. But before it could reach her, a flash of obsidian claws sliced through the air.

Allison, with her werewolf speed and ferocity, intercepted the attack just in ti. "Focus, Lana!" she barked, standing protectively at her side.

At that mont, Enel straightened, a satisfied grin spreading across his face. "Done," he muttered.

He stepped forward, his glowing hands ablaze with Holy runes. Turning to the creature, his voice rang out with sharp confidence. "Hey, ugly! You forgot to bow to your god!"

The creature’s hollow eyes locked onto him, its tendrils writhing with fury. But as Enel thrust his hands forward, the runes shot toward it, streaking through the air like radiant chains. They slamd into the creature, wrapping around its body and pinning it to the ground.

The creature let out a guttural wail, the runes searing into its flesh and radiating Holy energy that made it convulse. Enel dropped to one knee, panting from the exertion. "Killing a monster’s easy," he muttered, half to himself. "Capturing one? Now that’s a real workout."

Allison rushed over, steadying him with a firm grip. He let out a soft chuckle as he stood, brushing himself off. He sauntered toward the immobilized creature, his eyes gleaming with triumph.

With a smirk, he leaned in close, his voice dripping with mockery. "You called yourself a god? Guess what? You’re just my newest pet."

All the while, the other mbers of the village had been watching and they all paused in confusion as to what had just happened. To them, it was absolutely impossible what Enel and his party had just done. Enel knew this.

And then he turned to Talkling again, asking the sa question, "Do you want to kill a god?" This ti around, even Talking understood the question. After all, Enel was offering this monster to him.

Enel had a smirk on his face.
