Vandora had beco friends with Victor when he arrived in Imperilnt. After all, she could sll Lenny’s aura on him. This was the sa thing with Perseus.
Regardless, she had been incredible friends with them for many many years.
"Vandora, you look like you not getting enough of the action. How about you co with , lets go face those Angels and show them whose boss. I heard that the power of Hell beasts are surprisingly well effective against their kind.
"You flatter too much. However, we both know that I can’t. My job is to stay here and protect the treasures that have already been gathered. Or have you forgotten that this land is not foreign to either Fallen angels or demon kind." she replied.
"I know, I know, your aura blinds the plane from their sight. Regardless, it will be incredible to have muscle of your caliber out there. I would not have to use that technique again and again. Its hell you know."
"Ahhh! that reminds . I did cook up sothing for you. At least with these, you do not have to stand and fight." In saying this, Victor presented a bracelet. "Ever since the ’MISSING’ of our king," Victor spoke giving Perseus a particular look, "...Our connection to the eighth earth has not been steady, and the odin’s sleep makes matters worse. But i was sohow able to pass along a ssage to father Black concerning our needs, and he sent these."
Perseus took the bracelet. "If they can already send materials out of that place, then it ans that the Odin sleep has beco really weak. Any ti now, it will open and we will be able to return ho."
Victor chuckled, "yes, that’s true. But you know it wont be that easy. Once it opens up, the royal demons will be out to get Deter. At the sa ti, we still have the fallen angels to worry about. Even the royal demons have suffered at their hands. But that’s by the way." he pointed to the bracelet on Perseus hand. "Those work in pairs. father Black calls them Castlers."
"Why?" Perseus asked. But before he could get an answer, victor activated his magic, and instantly, both of them switched positions.
Perseus was surprised by this, "wait a minute, how did you do that?"
"its easy. Both it only works one way. One Bracelet is the King and the other called the castle. The castle, which is the bracelet in your hands cannot give the order to castle. Only the King bracelet...Very handy right?"
Perseus chuckled at this, "this is good. Really good."
"Yes, but there is a disadvantage on the distance it can be used. Only about ten kiloters in all directions."
"That’s poor. Its barely out of range of the fallen angels."
"yes, well, you will have to do with that. Now, to other important matters. We have to locate this city of high elves and get the treasure they harbor." Victor sat on the head chair as he turned to vandora, "any ideas from our lady?"
"The High Elves use a very perculiar magic. One that is fundantally different from the usual elves. If we want to fish them out, we need equipnt to detect it."
"And what kind of magic is that?" Perseus asked, his curiosity piqued as he leaned closer to listen to what she had to say.
"Its creation magic. It is how they had built their great empire and ruled as one of the most powerful forces of the Underworld before the dawn of the Royal families on their land. It mimics the power of the One above all."
"Wait! But I thought Holy power was the power of creation."
"No! Holy Power is magic of the divine. It is a form of ruling power. On the sa path with the power of Faith and the Domination of fate. it is the marriage of the two, and that is why is is so strong.
Of course, it is capable of creation. But it is not it. Creation magic is sothing..." her voice lingered a bit, "...special."
"Hmmm! Any ideas on how we can detect it?" Victor asked.
"yes... but i will be needing certain materials."
"Just na them. I’ll have the pups fetch them imdiately." victor stated.
"Unfortunately, they will not be able to make it."
"Why?" perseus asked back.
"Because its in that place."
On hearing this, Perseus’s eyes opened up in understanding. After all, he had been to that place.
"The NONE ZONE!?"
Vandora nodded, her huge turtle like head with its many eyes gave a light glow and an image was molded through the lava.
The image showed a place of total destruction, and yet order. It was always in a mix. One mont the land was ford well, and another it was either in ruins or even disintergrated.
The None Zone was a place that was said to be the trash of creation. A quick description of it would be the bin of an artist’s work. aning that if creation was the painting, The None Zone housed the rubbish that could not beco a part of the painting.
This place was as dangerous as it was unpredictable. Perseus had once been unfortunate to find himself in this place. He still had PTSD from the experience.
Just the ntion of that place brought back mories he did not want to rember.
He would rather have to go through the pain of using that technique ten tis over than to go back to that place.
Victor turned to Perseus. He knew this brother well. There was no way he would go. Besides, that place did things to magic.
"Since Perseus is not up for this one. Might I suggest you call her... Your sister. Magic might not be her specialty but that is exactly what makes her perfect for the job."
On hearing Vandora’s suggestion, Victor could not help but face palm in anticipated frustration.
After all, the person that was suggested was none other than....
