Lenny stood on the fighting stand, his eyes narrowing as he gazed at the Corruptor.

But she turned away from him, dismissing his presence with a wave of her hand.

A soft, eerie light cut through the void around them, and a radiant orb materialized in her grasp. "As you are now, Lenny, you cannot control , for crying out loud, you cannot even control your mind," she said, her voice smooth, laced with indifference. "Besides, I don’t believe you’re worthy."

Her words stirred a simring rage in Lenny, but before he could respond, she continued, "However, I will gift you this orb. After all, it’s what everyone who’s entered this dungeon has sought." She raised her hand, and the orb floated in the air before him, glowing ominously.

Before Lenny could react or reach for it, the world around him shifted violently.

Reality itself seed to warp, and in the blink of an eye, he found himself back in the normal world—standing in the arena. The orb settled into his palm, its weight felt foreign but strangely familiar.

The crowd, which had been roaring at the activities of the other combatants as they could see on the large screens, only monts before, fell into a stunned silence.

Lenny had appeared from thin air, the orb in his hand, a sight so unbelievable that no one knew how to react.

After all, the others were still in the dungeon, trying endlessly to overco a battle Lenny knee was fruitless, their fate would be to beco food for the corrupter.

But then, slowly, ass the shock wore off, the stands erupted in joyous cheers, the audience screaming in disbelief and celebration. He had returned, and more than that, he had WON.

There was a lot of disbelief. Lenny had been the weakest, and while the others still struggled, he had co out victorious.

anwhile, in the shadows of the arena’s luxury box, Naamah and Lasmatu, who had been deep in a trance during communion with the Fates, snapped back into reality. They exchanged surprised glances as their eyes locked onto the orb in Lenny’s hand, recognizing its significance.

Naamah rose to her feet gracefully, and with a wave of her hand, the entire arena fell silent once more. The power she commanded was undeniable.

Another wave, and from a gilded box, a shimring diamond flower floated toward her. She regarded Lenny carefully, her gaze sharp as she spoke. "You have done well, D999. And as promised..." The diamond flower, radiating a brilliant light, began to float toward Lenny.

But before it reached him, she paused, raising an eyebrow and pointing at the orb in his hand.

Lenny froze, caught in a mont of intense decision. The diamond flower was within his grasp, a prize that could heal his shattered soul, a part of him that had been lost in darkness for far too long. Yet, the orb—what was it truly? Sothing even the Sisters of Eve desired. He could sense its power, its mystery. To hand it over might an giving away sothing crucial, sothing tied to the very plans of the dark forces that surrounded him. But to hold onto it ant losing the flower he desperately needed.

His mind raced, torn between desire and logic. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw them—Tomato and the others, surrounded by demons. Worse, the Wyrm of Souls had wrapped its colossal tail around the young girl, Venir, who carried the very soul of this world.

Lenny gritted his teeth. He didn’t care for these people, not really. His path had long diverged from the one of righteousness. Yet, he had given his word to Mupstick. His word ant sothing, even now, in the depths of this treacherous life.

It had always ant sothing.

His gaze flickered between the girl, the demons, and the orb.

Finally, with a heavy sigh, Lenny waved his hand, letting the orb float away from him, surrendering it. The diamond flower reached him in exchange, its delicate petals glistening in the light.

"Good choice, D999," Naamah purred, her voice thick with satisfaction. She smiled at him, a knowing smirk, as if they hadn’t shared an intimate mont just hours ago, their bodies intertwined in a heated, dangerous union. The look in her eyes told him that the ga wasn’t over, that she held all the cards now.

And as Lenny held the flower, feeling its power begin to heal the cracks within him, he knew that this choice, like all the others, ca with a price.

Without hesitation, Lenny tossed the diamond flower into his mouth. Despite its crystalline appearance, it lted like butter, transforming into a rich, sweet liquid that coated his throat like honey. Imdiately, he felt it—the warmth spreading through him, filling the empty spaces in his soul. It was as though a missing piece had finally slotted into place, nding the fractures in his spirit.

Lost mories flooded back, overwhelming his mind in a torrent of images and sensations. Faces, nas, promises—all the things he had forgotten since coming to this plane rushed through him like a storm. As the flood subsided, a new clarity took hold of him. The confusion that had clouded his mind for so long was gone, replaced by sharp focus and an undeniable sense of purpose.

A low rumble echoed around him as the power of the flower took full effect. His body began to glow, faint at first, with a quick flash of blue light—the unmistakable sign of his soul advancing. He felt the shift deep within, his essence climbing, pushing past barriers that had held him back for too long.

But it didn’t stop there.

The glow intensified, turning a vibrant red. Another advancent, this ti more profound. His power surged, no longer bound by the limitations that had shackled him. He could feel it—he had entered the second rank of the Greater Demon realm. His muscles tensed as his body adjusted to the new strength coursing through him, veins pulsing with raw energy.

Lenny stood taller, the air around him crackling with newfound power. He clenched his fists, feeling the raw potential at his fingertips, a smirk curling on his lips. He had been lost, broken, but now he was whole again, stronger than ever before.

The arena around him seed to grow still as if the very world recognized his transformation. Naamah’s eyes widened in surprise, though she quickly masked it with a sly smile. She had not expected this—no one had.

Lenny’s gaze flickered around, now more aware, more in control.

"Naamah did you just threaten ?" Lenny asked.
