We crash to the ground floor and after rising up we dash at each other.
As we trade blows, other assassins from the right pagoda begin to move towards us.
They tried to join in to help their Captains but any of them that tried to step in was instantly killed by the recoils of the fight.
At that mont I was moving faster than I had ever moved in this present life.
This feeling, the feeling of getting stronger as I fight a life or death battle.
The thrill that forces to move faster, because if I don’t my head could go flying at any mont.
I can feel it.
If I keep going like this I could break through to the Late Peak Realm.
As their blades tear through my skin so does my dagger on their skins.
"Mooorrreee!!" I say out in a deep voice.
At that point I had almost forgotten I ca here for revenge.
They were strong.
Very strong.
I could feel they still were not completely giving it their all.
Even like this I am barely managing to keep up...
No I’m not keeping up, I’m just surviving this onslaught and launching so counter attacks when I see a chance.
After clashing weapons and sending sparks everywhere for about six minutes I back away from them.
If they weren’t still holding back, I’d be dead.
But why?
I do not sense any killing intent.
Is it because they see as a child?
No, if they had sympathy for age they wouldn’t have massacred the entire village.
Now that they are not going all out, I need to take advantage of this.
"Heavenly Demon Technique... First Form...
I say in a deep voice, forcing myself to pull this move.
I already used one of the forms earlier.
Using anymore would be putting too much strain on my body.
As I dash towards them, large chains of lightning fall from the sky, most striking the assassins wo had gathered around .
Four heavy lightnings strike on the two captains, two for each.
Moving towards them a few chains of lightning attach to spreading throughout my body.
As I move I leave behind a trail of lightnings.
They both managed to dodge one of the strikes of lightning but they could only try to block the second one.
They tried but it wasn’t enough.
As the strike ends they looked exhausted.
They probably spent a lot of Ki trying to block the strikes.
I attack them with lightning coursing all over my body.
I strike.
Multiple tis, they block so while so passed through.
As my dagger touched them a little lightning current flowed through burning that spot.
I felt...powerful...
I’ve never seen Diana use the First Form of The Heavenly Demon Technique like this.
I continued my attack, for a mont it felt like I could actually beat them, but of course, that was a huge scam.
I was about to strike at Reiner when suddenly they both burst out with energy.
Reiner blocks by dagger with his sword and with a turn Rever kicks hard on my belly sending away.
I tumble on the ground before coming to a stop.
Trying to rise to my feet I could see so dead bodies of the assassins who were struck by the First Form of The Heavenly Demon Technique.
As I raise my head I see Reiner dashing towards at high speed.
I dodge his attack and popping out from behind him was Rever about to strike down.
I barely manage to dodge as her sword slashes down my clothes and cutting the skin from chest to my belly.
I as dodge the lethal attack I counter attacks with a punch right to her gut.
The punch sends her away and I turn to Reiner whose sword cos for by neck.
I block with my two arms as the sword pierced the feeble Ki I had used to cover up my arms.
It passes my skin, muscle and then hits my bones, cracking them.
The impact sends away crashing into the fence.
I drop to floor landing on knees.
"Fuck!" I utter in pain as I look at my forearms which were hanging by my sides.
If I tried to move them I felt intense pain.
With the Heavenly Demon Technique activated I try to begin it’s healing but of course I wasn’t given breathing space.
They launch at and I dodge the first attack as I leap to my feet and move away.
Rever cos in about to stab with her sword.
With my knee I hit the flat surface of her sword changing the direction.
Before I could recover from that Reiner has slashed the left side of my abdon.
It was shallow but incredibly painful.
From all sides, they begin trashing .
I could barely resist them.
Punch, slap, kick, slash...
After about seventy seconds of this, they finally stop and I drop to the backwards.
My whole body was a ss.
I had cuts everywhere and my blood flowed out as several little streams.
My mask over my nose and mouth had been ripped.
My clothes were tattered.
My eyes begin fading back to black and a did my hair.
Fuck.
"I knew I couldn’t beat the two of them but I didn’t think it would be this bad." I thought to myself as I laid on my blood staring into the night sky.
I thought at the very least I would be able to get one of them or at least escape if I needed to.
"Now, who are... urgh..." Reiner begins coughing out blood as he drops to one knee.
Rever who rushes to check him also soon drops to one knee as she coughs out blood.
Guess the poison finally kicked in.
I guess they held back the poison for as long as they could with their Ki.
But now that their Ki is depleted...
"Poison huh? You really ca prepared." Reiner says as he wipes the blood off his mask.
"Tell us, who are you?" He asks.
I was slowly dieing I could barely speak.
"I don’t think I can survive this one." I think to myself as I heave a sigh.
I guess this is it.
I’m sorry I couldn’t avenge you Diana.
I’m sorry you had to have a weak as brother.
But at least, I would be able to see you again now.
Yhh, maybe this is for the best...
"Kid, do you not wish to inform us of your na?"
Rever says.
"? you want to know who I am?
Did you also ask for the nas of the innocent people from that village whom you do cruelty murdered?
The children? The middle aged? the elderly? did you also ask each of them of their age?" I ask in a soft tone as I kept staring into the sky.
As I say this it seems their eyes dilate as their expression turn soft, maybe even a little bitterness and pity could be seen.
Why? I don’t know.
"I see, so it’s because of that you are here." Reiner says in an almost remorseful tone.
He then fully goes down to both knees.
He heaves a sigh and then says;
"I know no amount of apology would be able to stone for what we did.
I know even if I serve you my head, it wouldn’t be enough but..."
"Shut up!!
What are you saying...
You dare try to apologize now!?
What the hell am I supposed to do with that!?" I begin yelling out in anger as I try to get to my feet without my hands.
I stagger and manage to get to my feet.
As blood drips from I stand there my back bent over.
"You all...
I will make sure you all do not make it to see the next sun rise!?
You dare make my children cry!?
You dare cause them pain!?
You dare kill my Da Som!?
You monsters!?
Do you have to be a beast to survive in the Murim?
If that’s what it takes...
Then if I survive this, I will make this world bleed, bleed till the very last drop!?" I yell in anger as my hair bursts into the colour Red.
My eyes turn blood red...
Both my iris and sclera, everything turned red.
I try to stand upright and despite the pain raise my arms by my side as if inviting a hug.
With a loud voice filled with hate and anger I yell;
"My na is David, The Bringer of Death, The one called Sangdaejong, The Phantom You sense before you die, if I sohow survive this day, the world would regret letting be born...
...Heavenly Demon Technique!!! Fifth Form!!!! None Shall stand before I, the God of all Demons!!!"
As I yell this everywhere goes silent for a single second and I can see that Reiner has noticed sothing.
He jumps over Rever, pulls out a paper charm and tears it as a bright blue wave of explosion blasts out from my body obliterating everything as it spreads through the city.
