P.O.V - Diana.

After the young boy left I remained standing at the Cart for a while.

The guards finished setting up the tent and called over to us.

I went to prepare a little al we all could eat.

This sohow beca my role after the first day.

On the first day of our journey one of the guards had cooked sothing.

It was supposed to be food apparently but it tasted like shit.

I was annoyed and went to do sothing.

Everyone ate and enjoyed it and that was how I beca the one cooking when we set camp.

Apparently even Dang Woon and Dang Shoo are both bad at cooking.

Why do most n not know how to cook? David was very good at it, he was the one who taught .

Just learn it bro, it could save your life one day.

The cooking didn’t take long.

After cooking and serving the guards, Dang Woon and Dang Shoo, I go sit on a log of wood placed close to the fire.

A few minutes later the young boy cos over to my side.

He sits beside and damn he’s handso.

"Wait no, no, no, did I just think this little boy was handso? What the fuck are you doing Diana?." I say to myself as I smack my face with my palm.

"Huh? what’s wrong?" He asks.

"Naaa, it’s nothing." I reply with a smile.

"Well, I forgot to ask earlier but what’s your na?" He says with a smile.

Hmmm, is he trying to hit on ?

Well I guess his off that age right now.

"My na is Dang So." I say to him.

"Ohhh, that’s a nice na." He complints with a smile.

"Well, what’s yours?" I ask him.

He pauses for a while before replying.

"My na is Yeong, Namgoong Yeong." He says.

As he says this everyone is shocked.

The Namgoong family?

Even I was a little surprised.

Why would a mber of the Namgoong family be lieing passed out on the road.

Wait no sothing is not right here.

Core mbers of the Namgoong family have a distinct sky blue hair.

But his hair is black, just like those of the Dang Clan.

P.O.V - David.

After telling her na she asks for mine.

I couldn’t tell her I was from the Xin Clan which is from the Unorthodox Faction since they were mbers of the Orthodox Faction and I do not know what their reactions would be.

So I picked a prestigious family of the Orthodox Faction.

But maybe I picked one too Prestigious? cause what’s up with their reactions?

"The Great Namgoong family?" The Dang Patriarch suddenly asks.

Great? what’s so great about a family whose Patriarch was grovelling before when I went to pay him a visit as Sangdaejong.

I hadn’t even faced the Tang Clan at that point.

I could clear out the entire clan if I wanted to at that ti.

If any clan was great I would say it was the Tang Clan.

When going to attack them I was confident I could take them on with little injuries but I almost lost my life.

Though those foxes had two female Supre Peaks whom they didn’t let the world know about.

They were stationed in one of the branches I had attacked before heading to the Main Clan.

Those two were really tough.

If not for my speed and experience in killing, with their poison techniques, I might have lost to them.

If I hadn’t faced them I would have been able to wipe out all the other branches after visiting the main clan.

"Yes, that Namgoong family." I respond to the Patriach.

They look at strangely for while, like they were finding it hard to believe.

Ohhh, my hair.

"Well what were you doing passed out on that path." Dang So asks.

I heave a long sigh.

"Well, I am an illegitimate child of the Namgoong Patriarch, so I don’t have that distinct sky blue hair." I say to them.

"And as an illegitimate son I wasn’t really given the best treatnt so, I ventured out, to seek opportunities, to train myself, but then I got attacked by a beast and ended up there." I narrate to them.

They all began to look at with pity all except their Second Elder and Dang So.

"Sorry about that." Dang So says to as she pats my shoulder, it felt cold.

"Thank you." I replied.

"So, what do you plan on doing now?" The Patriarch asks .

"Well, I am not sure for now." I reply.

"We are heading on a journey, why don’t you go with us, maybe you could learn or gain a thing or two along the way." Dang So says to with a smile.

She speaks so mature.

I’m not sure I should join them since I do not know where they are headed.

"We are headed for the Golden Manor branch located in Yangzo." Dang So says as if reading my mind.

"You seem like and awfully cautious boy, don’t worry, we won’t harm you." She says as if teasing with a smile.

This little girl...

I smiled as I give her a plate.

"Ohh you haven’t eaten, sorry." She says as she quickly hurries to dish so food.

She’s cute.

T.P.P.

Back at the Xin Clan, at the gate stood two guards.

They were standing guard when sothing started moving towards them from the dark.

They pulled out their swords ready to attack.

Slowly the being got into the light and they saw a man walking towards them, barely hanging on to his life.

He looked like he was burnt bad.

He had no hair on his hair, most of his skin was charred.

It was the Late Peak agent who was in the trees when David went to save the children.

He had not died and managed to treat himself to be able to at survive till now.

"Ta...take t...to the Gra...Grand Elder." He manages to utter before collapsing on the ground.
