P.O.V - Diana.
We hear a knock on the gate of my courtyard.
"Who else is coming to disturb tonight." I think to myself.
The gate slowly opens and Dang Hyuk steps in.
What the fuck does he want.
I was already taking a step towards him when I noticed soone coming in behind him.
A lady.
It was Dang Soha.
What could the two of them want by coming here by this ti.
They walk over to us.
Dang Ki Ran was not comfortable.
I could tell from her body movents.
It looked like she wanted to attack Dang Hyuk.
But then, she couldn’t.
"Good Evening Young Master Dang Hyuk and Young Mistress Dang Soha." She greets with a slight bow of the head.
"I apologize, I wasn’t aware you would be coming here this night." She says to them.
As she finished speaking Dang Soha hits Dang Hyuk on the back.
"N..no...no I should be the one apologizing.
I’m just coming from where you were being treated and I was told to check for you here.
I have co to apologize for my behavior towards you and your daughter." Dang Hyuk says with a full bow of his head towards Dang Ki Ran.
Dang Ki Ran was surprised, she didn’t know what to do.
She was still bitter, though her child was safe she was used as a tool and then she herself was attacked when she tried saving her daughter.
Her head was down.
"It’s alright Young Master, these things happen." She says as she forces a smile up her face.
"If you’ll excuse I just rembered I had sothing I had to do." She says as she quickly runs off holding back tears.
Dang Hyuk watches her leave with so face of pity.
I could understand her.
This bastard, he ca here just to make her cry.
I clench my fist as I take a step towards him.
As my feet touches the ground I feel a hand on my chest.
It was Dang Soha stoping in my tracks.
Her face as poker as always.
"Damn she’s fast." I thought to myself.
I didn’t even realize she had gotten before .
That’s not the speed of an Early Peak.
"Stop Dang So, he really did co to apologize." She says with a low voice.
"Yes, I really did co to apologize.
I really didn’t an any harm, as you must have heard from the Grand Elder, her daughter was completely unhard. I just wanted to speak with you. I really am sorry, I realize I went about it the wrong way." Dang Hyuk apologizes.
"I will not ask that you forgive him now, I just hope you can give him a chance to earn yours and Dang Ki Ran’s forgiveness." Dang Soha says.
Hmmm.
He does seem genuine.
And now that I’ve spoken about building up the Clan I have to put a lot of things into consideration.
"That is really not for to decide, the persons forgiveness you should be seeking is Dang Ki Ran’s." I say to Dang Hyuk.
"Do you hear that? You have alot of work to do Hyuk." Dang Soha says to him.
She turns to look at .
"Thank you for not keeping the stupidity of my younger brother in heart." She says to as she turns and leaves with Dang Hyuk.
"Dont get it wrong. I’ve not forgiven him." I reply to her.
She says nothing but just gives off a smile as she keeps walking.
They exit the gate and I just stand there.
Now I don’t feel like cultivating anymore.
But I have to.
I heave a sigh as I go back into my room to cultivate.
P.O.V - David.
It’s been a week since I t with the Elders of the clan and I have been steady cultivating since then.
I am still far too weak as I am right now.
After the First Elder ntioned fighting for the position of Heir to the seat I’ve been doing so thinking.
To be able to get my complete revenge for my sister I would need people.
I wouldn’t be able to do it alone.
Except I can reach my peak level again and one by one pick them out.
But for now I am just an Early Peak.
Though I planned on eventually taking over a force, why not start from this Clan?
And gradually over ti as I build my personal strength I also build an unstoppable force to get my revenge.
So now I have decided to actually fight for that position.
In this past week aside from cultivating I’ve been getting various materials.
My eting with the Elders woke up to how weak I truly am.
I have been able to put together sothings Incase of certain situations.
Now I wait to see what Dang Hyuk and the Grand Elder are planning.
After cultivating for a while I get up from my bed.
I pick up a shirt and walk outside.
I just wanted to take a walk outside under the evening sun.
I walk for a while and sohow I find myself going up that hill again.
The wind was really nice on my body.
Slowly, I walk to the edge.
I embrace the view as I take in a deep breath.
I look down towards the residents living below.
My eyes sohow finds its self locked on that sa compound.
There I saw her playing around with another kid.
"Seems like she has made a new friend" I say to myself not knowing I was smiling.
"Thats good"
It reminded so much of when I used to follow Diana to the play ground on earth.
I was still smiling and watching her when she suddenly stopped and turned looking straight into my direction.
Our eyes locked.
I quickly take away my eyes as I withdraw from the edge.
What the fuck? did she know I was here? or was it just a coincidence.
"Of course it has to be a coincidence." I say as I turn and leave.
I go over to eat at a canteen outside the Clan.
I spent about three hours there eating and gathering information.
By the ti I returned the sun had just set.
I walk into my courtyard and I felt sothing off.
Soone had been in here.
I walk over to my room and my door was slightly open.
I take out a dagger I had by my side.
I dash into the room ready to strike anyone I see.
But there was no one there.
"Did I not close the door when I left?" I thought to myself.
Of course I did.
I turned and noticed a note pinned to the wall with a knife.
I took the note and opened it.
It read.
"If you want her alive, co to the mountain behind the Clan."
