"This seems a bit complicated," Zhai Tianyu said to Liu Hui Ying, the two of them were returning to the Su manor after discussing what happened to Lin Yanjue, Lin Si's daughter and Lin Jinxiao's mother.
Liu Hui Ying didn't reply. She was lost in thought as she couldn't understand why the Su family would want to kill a small villager. Indeed Lin Yanjue tried to bite more than she could chew but Lin Jinxiao told her that his mother returned ho and decided to stay with him without holding onto her grudges anymore.
However, Lin Si told her that his daughter was a woman of great determination, she wouldn't have stopped for no reason. The only explanation for her to suddenly return without dealing with the Su family, it could only an one thing and that was she found out sothing that she shouldn't have which endangered her life and attracted the attention of the Su family.
"It is indeed complicated but more than that…" She turned around and looked at Lin Si who was a blubbering sobbing ss. He covered his face and cried while walking.
Each step that he took made him stumble as he continued to yamr the sa thing again and again.
"Are you going to continue crying like that?" She asked the man who paused before continuing to cry again. He looked like he was about to flood the village if he didn't stop crying any ti soon.
"My daughter is dead how can I not cry?" Lin Si said with a painful expression. He looked at his hands that were splayed in front of him and continued speaking, "She is gone and I… I have nothing in my hands anymore."
The reason why Lin Si continued to dwell on the surface of the earth was that he wanted to et his daughter one last ti before moving on. However now that his daughter was dead what was the point in staying on the surface of the earth unless he was to take revenge on the Su family who killed his daughter?
"My daughter was the kindest woman, she would never even harm soone," Lin Si spoke to no one in particular, Liu Hui Ying felt the resentnt surrounding him surge once again and knew that he wanted to take revenge on the Su family for his daughter.
She stared at him calmly before saying, "There is no need for you to react as such." She patted him on the back and added, "If you are here then your daughter is most likely here as well."
Lin Si was attached to his daughter, there was no way his daughter was not attached to her son. More importantly, Lin Jinxiao was still alive which showed that Lin Yan Jue was protecting him in a manner that was not known to the public.
But the Su family should be aware of it very much.
Liu Hui Ying's eyes narrowed as she turned to look in the direction of the Su family, sothing was very weird here.

"Find the young master!"
"Where is the young master?"
"Didn't I tell you to tie his feet why did you not pay attention to huh?"
The servants of the Su family were in a pinch as they ran around the Su manor, this was because the young master of the Su family was missing!
And this was sothing that didn't happen once or twice but every night!
"I am going to quit working here!" One of the servants muttered. He was walking towards the 'veranda' at the back of the manor. In the past they had always found the young master at the back of the manor, sotis he was staring eerily at the ground while sotis he was staring at the horizon. One ti they saw him eating the dirt on the ground!
It was truly terrifying!
"Stop acting like a baby," his colleague said to him. "The young master is only sleeping walking there is no need to be scared of him like this."
"You think that this is just sleepwalking? Damn you! I am telling you that there is sothing wrong with that child! Have you ever seen a child eating mud?" The servant asked his colleague. His skin was covered in goosebumps as he rubbed his arms.
His friend didn't say anything. He simply continued to walk forward, even though the two of them were very much aware that what the other servant was saying was the truth, there was nothing that they could do.
If anyone dared to say that the young master was possessed Su Tai would definitely deal with them nicely and by nicely it ant that he would silence them once and for all. No one wanted that to happen to them, thus they all kept mum.
This servant arrived at the Su manor just a few days ago and thus, he was unaware of what he could say and what he couldn't say.
The two of them arrived at the veranda, thinking that they would find the young master of the Su family eating mud again. However they didn't see him even when they looked around the veranda, this caused their hearts to skip a beat as they turned their gazes around the backyard.
What was going on? The young master was not here? If he wasn't here then where did he go?
The two servants were really scared. If they lost the young master then they would be losing their heads!
"W..where is he?" The servant who was quibbling about quitting looked around, his eyes wandering here and there as he looked at the empty veranda.
"I don't know..he should be sowhere around here——"
BANG!
The sound of sothing falling from the roof and onto the floor echoed in their ears. The two of them turned horrified, as they could sll the scent of blood wafting over them as soon as the thing fell from the roof. However, they knew that there was no other choice.
If they didn't turn around and look at the thing that fell, it would endanger their lives.
Thus the two servants summoned their will and then turned their heads to the side. As soon as their gaze fell on the ss of flesh and blood, their lips trembled and a scream tore out of their mouths.
"AHHHHHH!!"
"What's the matter?" Zhai Tianyu asked Liu Hui Ying who turned to look back, her brows still scrunched up in a frown.

Liu Hui Ying stared in the direction of the back courtyard. Her eyes glead as she replied, "It's nothing. I think I heard soone scream just now."
The next morning, Liu Hui Ying and Zhai Tianyu both noticed that sothing was very weird about the atmosphere of the Su house. There was a sombre note to the air inside the building which caused them all to suffocate a little.
What was more, even the servants looked like they were walking on eggshells around the house.
"What's going on?" Liu Hui Ying asked in a soft whisper but Zhai Tianyu had no answer to her question.
He looked around the house and noticed that a pair of servants were carrying a bag that slled like blood outside. His brows furrowed when he saw the large sack and couldn't help but stop the servants, "What is this?"
He sounded curious and naive like a young master who had no idea what was happening around him. It was easier to lower the guards of the servants like this.
Sure enough, when the guards heard his question, they were a bit confused but they were not wary of him.
However, before they could answer a sharp voice stopped them.
"Ah, what are you doing here? Why don't you take this carcass away? Do you want to scare our honourable guest?"
Zhai Tianyu and Liu Hui Ying turned to look at the woman who was dressed in a vibrant red robe. There were white peonies embroidered on the red robes as she stared at the servants before sending them away, she glared at the servants who bowed their heads and rushed away.
She then turned to look at Zhai Tianyu and Liu Hui Ying before saying, "Forgive , my lord, these servants are truly unruly. My master asked us to prepare mutton for you in the breakfast and we just finished dealing with the goat and its carcass was about to be thrown into the dumpster, I am so sorry that you have to look at sothing so unlucky in the morning."
Though Zhai Tianyu was suspicious of the thing that was inside the sack he still nodded and said with a smile, "Haha, you an that Lord Su has prepared mutton for in the breakfast? He shouldn't have!"
As he spoke he flattered the woman while Liu Hui Ying turned to look in the direction in which the servants went before turning to look at her ghosts,
"Li Gang, go and see what kind of giant goat they slaughtered."
