“Who is it…” Anna frowned, a cold aura emanating that swayed her cloak.
“Perhaps it’s the one that made Aunt Mary leave the ship.” Lu Li reread the fourth letter once more, placed it back into the envelope and tucked it into his pocket.
“She’s already…” Anna whispered.
“Not sure, we don’t know the timings of these letters.”
But perhaps roughly speculate—Watch Town and Star Town evidently have been scourged; the two prominent letters placed on the window sill would not have been overlooked by survivors.
Aunt Mary’s departure might not have been long ago.
“Has there been soone in the house all along?” Lu Li asked the elderly couple outside the door and the mother-daughter standing further away.
The mother-daughter and the elderly couple spent most of their ti in the house.
When Lu Li asked if they had heard any unusual noises lately, the elderly couple recalled hearing footsteps moving upstairs late at night yesterday.
