"Selling your own nation, that's a bit too much for a headline," Aston stared at the news. "People are living too comfortably that they have ti to judge soone else even in this kind of situation," he added.

"Weren't you like that before?" Javelin raised her eyebrows as she stared at her own reflection on the glass of whiskey.

"I was, but at least I didn't ddle with soone else's business or even life. Now that I have experienced it, my view of the world has completely changed," Aston answered as he turned off the TV. "I'm glad that I was chosen because I might beco like those people."

"Welco to the club..." Javelin scoffed as she hung her glass.

Aston touched Javelin's glass with his bottle of beer, and then they both emptied their drink in a single gulp. On the other hand, Zachary had been quiet ever since he left the rift because he couldn't stop thinking about what Nefarath said.

lissa called Zachary and asked for his whereabouts because she needed him. The reason why she needed him was because she was about to do a swearing-in ceremony. She was about to beco the Vice-president and they had been holding it because they wanted to do it once the rift was cleared.

"I guess it's ti for to leave now..." Javelin grunted as her body was still weak.

"I'll drive you to the airport," Zachary looked at Javelin with a worried expression.

"Please, you don't even have ti to shower. I'll ask Aston to drive to the airport," Javelin turned her head to look at Aston. "You don't mind, right?" she raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah, sure. I need to do so shopping as well because I might need proper equipnt for raids in the future," Aston nodded his head and looked for his car key.

"If that's the case, I can help you get what you need. I don't mind helping you choose," Javelin responded as she poured a glass of whiskey.

"That would be great, Thanks," Aston smiled in excitent.

Zachary went straight to lissa's house to be her personal guard at her late father's request. All the way to her house, he kept thinking about that mysterious woman, and he was disturbed by it. He had a single question in mind, and that was who that sister was and how strong she was that even Gods seed to be wary of her.

"Zach? Are you alright?" lissa asked as she put her hand on Zachary's shoulder. "You should lay down for a mont. You can rest while I'm preparing myself before we leave," she suggested as she looked at the sofa in the living room.

"I'll do that," Zachary nodded his head and lay down on the sofa.

The ceremony went smoothly and people were cheering for her from outside. The whole nation's attention was focused on her, but the mont she gave her speech, she proceeded with her plan. The plan was to convince the people that they could stand on their own without anyone's help.

The speech moved everyone, but that wasn't the only thing that lissa wanted. She wanted people to think that the Faelethria Kingdom was trying to take over Verdentia. Her tone and words were filled with anger that gave people the idea that she felt betrayed, and the only one who could betray her was Elestria since they knew how close those two were.

"I have to apologize in advance," lissa looked at Zachary. "The people will have high expectations of you and Aston. You both are their light and without you two, we will be in danger," she explained.

"What people think doesn't matter to . As long as you're safe and live comfortably, I have nothing to worry about," Zachary answered. "There's sothing more important than any of that, and deep down, I'm starting to think that all of this doesn't matter," he pointed out.

lissa furrowed her eyebrows and was curious about what Zachary had experienced inside the rift. She then said that she wanted to hear about what happened in the rift once she was done with everything.

(At Dystrovia nation)

"I'm the first to co back? Does that an I'm the first one that cleared the rift?" Victoria asked as she looked around but nobody was there except Mykel with a cigarette in his mouth. "Are you not bored doing nothing in here?"

"Do you think I'm not doing anything?" Mykel asked back and drank his vodka. "If you're bored, why don't you take a stroll in the city and help yourself? Maybe you'll find sothing interesting."

Victoria humd as she looked around for a mont, thinking if she had sothing to do in the suite. She then left after realizing it would be boring staying there, especially alone with Mykel because of what he said to her back then.

She took a stroll in the city and she never thought the people would show their gratification for clearing the rift. They felt safe after the envoy from the Faelethria Kingdom ca because the outlaws were afraid of the Five Sinners. She didn't care about it, but she never thought the plan was going smoothly without even having Mykel do anything.

"No wonder Elestria took him in. He's a man with lots of terrifying talents," Victoria mumbled as she looked at the people taking videos of her. "Also, how long are you going to stalk , Felix?" she glanced at the dark alley next to her.

"It's just a coincidence," Felix ca out of the shadows. "I was on my way back and I saw you walking on the sidewalk, so I followed you because I wondered what were you doing out here," he explained.

"Isn't that still count as stalking?" Victoria raised her right eyebrow. "Anyway, the reason I'm out here is because I don't want to be in the suite alone with him," she answered and continued walking.

"Understandable," Felix nodded his head.

Victoria glanced at Felix and thought it would be a perfect opportunity for her. If her intrusion was right, Felix could be her ally to go against Mykel once she beca strong enough to overpower him.

"Do you want to get your freedom back?" Victoria asked as she walked into the park.

"Even after getting everything you still think that it's not enough?" Felix asked back because he wasn't stupid enough to answer that question before he knew Victoria's true intention of asking that question.

"I'm not in the mood for playing mind gas right now. I'm genuinely asking you if you want your freedom back because I don't like it even with everything I have right now," Victoria said as she sat on the bench, watching the trees with her legs crossed.

Felix took a few seconds before he opened his mouth, "Even if we want to, that's not sothing we can do."

"For now," Victoria imdiately answered. "But later we will be able to get it back from him," she said with confidence. "If we work together, I can assure you that we can be free once more. Even better, we can take over this world," she added.

Felix took his ti to think and he was standing behind the bench, staring down at Victoria. He wondered how many abilities she had stolen the mont she lived on the island again. There were dozens of thousands of lives there and powerful abilities would be like one in a thousand, so she might have at least four to six new abilities she stole.

"How confident are you with this plan of yours?" Felix asked.

"Sixty percent and it would only go higher from here," Victoria answered as she unfolded the fan to cover her mouth. "We can play this safe knowing who we are dealing with."

"Count in," Felix answered and didn't hesitate because Victoria's prediction had always been right. "If you're looking for allies, we should get Sabel on our side. You're not the only one who has unbelievable growth," he suggested.

"That's the plan, but he has always been so wary of that he finds suspicious and untrustworthy. That's why I'm asking you first because you're the only one left among the five of us with common sense and rationality. He might listen to you," Victoria answered.

"Then I'll wait for him outside the rift. I'll be back with him if I succeed in convincing him," Felix said and then disappeared.

Victoria felt the chill breeze and looked at the sky where the storm was brewing. Her first and most important move went smoothly, and she had predicted that Felix would agree to her plan.

"Once I got rid of the threat, the rest would be easy to get rid of," Victoria said as she smirked but covered her mouth with a fan. "I'll take advantage of the opportunity you gave , and you'll be the one who regrets it later," she folded the fan and left.
