"Five seals have been broken," A woman sitting on top of the rocky mountain that was as wide and big as Mount Everest said. "And yet we lost five of our sisters," she added and flapped her six gold feathered wings that were big enough to cover the whole mountain.

"Those damned Gods and the curse they put on us," A woman floating in the red sky with her black feathered wings that covered the sky. "The ti is ticking, and our death will be Elazil's freedom. As long as she lives, the Gods will tremble in fear once more," she added and looked at the woman sitting on top of the mountain with her glowing purple eyes.

The woman who was sitting on the mountain humd as she stood up. She spread her wings widely, blowing her long purple hair and showing off her pale face and bright blue eyes. She then flew away, breaking and crumbling the mountain with her feet alone, and disappeared into thin air. Experience new stories on My Virtual Library Empire

"Five essences..." Mykel put the five essences on the table and looked at them. "Eight more to go and the problem down here will be over," he added.

"Do you think it would be as easy as collecting those five?" Aevia asked and stared at the essences. "I wouldn't ask you to get rid of them if the Gods in this world can deal with them," she pointed out.

"It should be easy unless you decide to make it harder," Mykel stared at Aevia with a cold expression.

"I'm not. I don't and I will never get involved," Aevia answered as she giggled. "The clock is still in a chaotic state. Sohow, the clock is unable to fix itself and it becos a lot worse," she added.

"So am I running out of ti or sothing?" Mykel asked and looked disinterested.

"No. It's quite the opposite. The clock will adapt and can handle complex calculations that are beyond understanding. At first, it was unable to contain your existence, but now here we are. A perfectly made being with zero flaws," Aevia answered and gently put her hands on Mykel's face. "There will be another one like you, a better version of you..." she added.

"If that's the case, you don't need anymore when the ti cos, right? That's really nice to hear," Mykel responded as he put the essences back into his pocket. "I can finally get back to my old life," he smiled.

When Mykel was about to stand up, Aevia suddenly grabbed his neck and pushed him down to the ground. He almost forgot about the pain, and now his face was slowly being crushed by Aevia who seed furious by the way he responded. He couldn't do anything as his body stiffened and couldn't move a muscle as Aevia started to crush his jaw and cheekbones.

"You're mistaken, Mykel. You won't be able to leave because I'm going to take your soul and put it in the archive..." Aevia said as she tightened her grip on Mykel's face. "If one day I needed a soul, I could just take yours and use it as I pleased," she pointed out.

Aevia slowly loosened up her grip and removed her hand from Mykel's face as she allowed Mykel's body to move again. She was looking down at Mykel's broken face for a mont and then disappeared without saying anything.

Mykel sat up and his face had fully healed, but the pain was still lingering all over his face. Although he was zoning out for quite so ti, the pain didn't go away as if Aevia's hand was still gripping his face tightly. He then decided to rest on the bed until he fell asleep without realizing it.

Mykel had a weird dream, and he saw Elena and the others laughing at the table in the Empyrean World. Everyone was talking to each other, but sohow none of them talked to him. He was there, but it felt like he was invisible to them, and he tried to touch them but his hand went through their bodies.

"How does it feel?" Aevia asked as she wrapped her arms around Mykel's neck from behind.

"This is just a dream," Mykel answered and looked at how happy they were.

"Maybe, but a dream could lead to reality sotis," Aevia pointed out and rested her chin on Mykel's left shoulder as she rubbed Mykel's chest. "After all, nothing is impossible if I want it to happen," she added and tilted her head to look at Mykel's calm expression.

"For soone like you to be angry for what I said is a bit childish. You can do whatever you want because nothing matters to ," Mykel said calmly.

"I wonder as to why I'm acting like this as well. Having watched you this whole ti, I have seen a lot of interesting things and wonder what I would do if I were a part of it," Aevia slowly pulled her hands away from Mykel's chest. "Perhaps I'm envious..." she pointed out.

Before Aevia could retract her hands, Mykel pulled them back as he turned around. He held her hands gently and put her right hand on his cheek so he could kiss it.

Aevia was quite surprised when Mykel kissed her palm and then her wrist with so much passion. She let him kiss her hand and watched him until he was done and waited for him to speak what he wanted.

"Stay here, with . Be the only God to rule this world for eternity as I will be your servant," Mykel said and looked at Aevia's face.

"No," Aevia pulled her hands. "I'm an observer, a Clockweaver. My sole existence is to start and end the ti. It's sothing that I only want," she explained.

"If that's what you want, why are you feeling envious? You're the one who created everything, and if your reason is to keep the balance, it's quite disappointing," Mykel asked.

"You don't need to know," Aevia answered and snapped her fingers.

Mykel woke up and noticed he was in between Henry and Jessie who were sleeping. It was nightti already and he decided to take a shower and stayed awake until morning.

"Here's all the report that I'm going to present to Her Majesty. Since you're her personal adviser in na, I think you should check it out first and see if there's anything I missed," lissa said as soon as she joined for breakfast.

Mykel looked at the docunts and lissa didn't use a direct approach to sell the territory to the Faelethria Kingdom. She used problems, risks, and threats of the current situation that the Verdentia Republic was too big to handle.

The result of the eting of that discussion was enough to create a crack between each party. One believed that the Faelethria Kingdom would help them as long as they gave Elestria what she wanted. The other one believed they could handle everything themselves and would try not to be too dependent on Elestria to avoid piling debts. The last one, they stayed neutral and didn't know what to choose as the lives of the people were more important.

The newly appointed president of Verdentia Republic was a good man and followed lissa's late father's ambition. He wanted to protect the nation and with that being said, he took a side on the second party. But, the problem was the second party didn't have much voice compared to the first party.

While the first party and second party were in dispute, the third party beca the final voice of Verdentia Republic. The pressure was on them, and the one who held a lot of power was lissa because almost all the third parties would follow her decision.

"So you chose to stay neutral. The question is which thod are you going to use?" Mykel asked as he closed the docunts. "Betray your nation, or sacrifice innocent lives?" he added and stared at lissa.

"But that would be too reckless for soone as smart as you," Mykel said as he rested his head on his fist. "Perhaps you want to stir more problems, making them push each other until you, the one who's close to Elestria beco their only hope and will be able to satisfy both parties," he added.

lissa raised her eyebrows and was terrified that Mykel could see through him. He didn't read her mind, but if he had to be in her shoes, he would do that instead.

"Yes. In the anti, I want Her Majesty to keep helping us, and I have prepared the dia to pressure both parties that this nation won't be able to survive without Faelethria Kingdom," lissa answered as she nodded her head. "I don't want innocent lives to die," she added.

"I don't want that either," Mykel smiled as he nodded in agreent. "This is the best and safest plan. Elestria would be pleased with the plan as well," he added and grabbed the docunts. "It's ti for to go back. Thank you for everything, My Lady," he bowed his head for fun and then walked away.

"Sir Alester..." lissa stood up. "I know I'm crossing the boundary here, but can you please tell what your goal is?" she asked.

"My goal..." Mykel paused to think of an answer. "You can say a free world where everyone can stand equally. Anyone can be anything as long as they have the will to reach it," he answered with a smile.

"It's not world domination?" lissa asked.

"World domination," Mykel scoffed. "I have done it twice, and I think I'm going to pass this one," he answered and left.

lissa was so confused and she thought she heard it wrong, but she didn't. She then felt a chill down her spine when she imagined how dangerous Mykel could be.
