I was totally blown away by Alaric’s kiss. Full of hunger, need, desire and sothing else he had never expressed before. Leaning my back on the car, I held him tightly when I felt his body drawing closer to mine, making my body yearn for more of his touches. I was already aroused and when I felt his rock-hard manhood pressing on my stomach, it only intensified my situation. I held him closer and he did the sa leaving no space between us.
It was only after more than five minutes did I tap on his shoulder as I had already fallen breathless. I gasped for air slowly leaning my head on his chest, as I listened to his slow exhalations above my head. They magically cald my heart and evened my breath and I almost felt like napping there.

My face flushed and I could guess it was already turning red due to his rare openness. I never guessed or even thought Alaric to be the shaless and naughty type considering his cold nature, but nowadays, I knew I was totally wrong. He was just a wolf in sheep clothing about to pounce on a poor soul, . Inwardly, I knew I was eagerly waiting for it so I could feast on him too. My eyes were sparkling with invisible stars thinking of his hot abs under my hands as I preyed on him the way I wished. Holy ! I beca vulnerable when it ca to him and for sure, being with him in a closed area, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to control myself at all.
Shaking off those dirty and arousing thoughts, I looked at Alaric with a pleading gaze, before saying unhurriedly, "Let’s get out of here before we strip each other naked."
I saw Alaric smile before leaning on the side of my ear. "I wouldn’t mind doing so but soone might end up dead if they happen to see you." With that, he left and went around the car and got in, leaving confused. I could not understand the aning behind his words even after brainstorming my genius mind for so seconds.
I was about to head into the car but paused feeling as if soone was watching , or rather us, Alaric and I. I had actually started feeling so when we got to the front hall of the club but I brushed it off thinking it was because of the way Alaric was carrying which caught people’s attention. Turning around, I could not see any sign of soone, but I was dead sure I was not imagining things. Sighing, I got into the car and was t with the look ’what took you so long’ but I just ignored him, but then rembered his statent.
"What did you an by soone might end up dead?" I faced him but he turned away just like I had done with him. I felt like laughing watching him ignore sa way I did with him. He looked cute yet sohow lonely. I bet he was learning all this from . Drawing myself closer, I leaned my head in front of him smiling widely. "I love this version of yours, Alaric being Ravenna. Cute, right? How about we exchange roles for today, you play Ravenna and I play Alaric. Like in the movi..."
"Quiet." He groaned closing his eyes and laid his head on the car seat.
"Then answer my question and I will keep quiet. If not, then I’ll continue speaking the whole day and no matter how many tis you kiss to shut up I won’t stop. Do you hear , you old man? Wake..." My silence was brought down by another sudden kiss. Actually, it was not a kiss but a bite that made flinch in pain. Thankfully I did not bleed and only felt a little bit of pain.
"Only I have the right to see your naked self. Only !" His voice was deep, low and filled with so possessiveness as he held my chin making look straight into his eyes. "If anyone else dares to lay their eyes on you, I’ll gouge them out before giving them the most grueso death. That’s what I ant."
His words made my mind stop with one thing on it. He did have feelings for for him to beco this possessive, right? I raised both my hands and held his cheeks smiling, then asked him the question that I had so much wanted to but had no courage. "Alaric, do you love ?" It ca out as a low whisper but from the change in his expression, I knew he heard . For the first ti, I saw emotions waver in his eyes, that were always cold and blank or full of anger.
I could see him struggling to say sothing but couldn’t and before I could even say a word, there was a crash and the car we were in was sent fly to hell knows where. We had not put on the seat belts so we thrown from forward and backward, up and down, as we held hands not letting go. It seed soone had crashed into our car with what seed like a lorry from the little view I could outline from outside.
I was scared, hell sacred, not for my life but Alaric’s. There was this imnse pain of having to watch the person I had grown to love so deeply suffering or worse dying in front of . So, I made a timing and placed my body on top of his preventing him from being hit injured severely. I had no ti to think of another solution because everything happened so fast.
"Damn it! Let go, Ravenna. Bloody fucking let go of ." I heard him shouting as he tried to push off him, but I wouldn’t let go. This pain in my body was nothing compared to what I felt when I thought of him getting injured.
I held him tighter shaking my head as the car continued falling and crashing. "I can’t let you die." I whispered near his ear and for a mont, I heard him stop struggling. The car reached down with a thud and I let go of Alaric, and looked at him as he held my blood-soaked body in his arms.
"Why?" He was pleading and I saw him worried. Worried for and that made feel satisfied, at least my sacrifice earned this after trying for so long.
"Because it will kill a thousand ti to watch you die."
"Why?" He asked again pulling closer to him and I saw sothing, his eyes were welling up. I let out a chuckle but ended up coughing blood. "Crazy woman. Who asked you to save ?"
With the last breath in , I murmured, "I love... you too much, that’s why." And everything went blank.
