Alaric silently went along with Ravenna, until she stopped before the sofa. She gestured at him to sit down and he did as so, obediently, but his eyes never left hers. Ravenna sighed and sat beside him. They didn’t say a word for a long ti, and it was only when they were interrupted by footsteps did they snap out.

Ravenna turned towards the door, led by Finn and Zander and behind them was Luke, Zeke, Seth and finally Nyx. Sudden emotions rushed inside her looking at each one of them: who had played big roles in her previous life. Subconsciously, she stood but was imdiately pulled back by the Alaric.

Ravenna let out a low gasp, looking at him questioningly.

"You said you won’t leave," Alaric spoke in a low, and sohow desperate voice.

"And I won’t," Ravenna said, putting her free hand on top of his.

Alaric went silent for a mont before he nodded his head. "Then, I’ll let you rest first." He was about to stand up but she stopped too.

"I can’t. Not now."

"Why?" He was getting anxious.

"We’ve a lot of things to clear out. Moreover, I have been resting for over a month. Do you want to sleep for another mon..." She could not complete the word month because was already kissing her, roughly and sohow, she could feel his fear through that shared mont intimacy.

After a while, he let go. "You can’t do that ever again. If you must, then... you’ve to take with you."

Ravenna swallowed feeling a lump form on her throat. How much fear had she inflicted on him this ti? "I’m sorry..." She murmured and looked down to hide her teary eyes from.

Alaric was a bit confused by her sudden apology. He was the one supposed to be apologising to her. He was the one who had lied to her despite having promised not to keep any secrets from her. Had he overreacted too much and now she was feeling guilty about it? Alaric blad himself for not being able to treat his woman right. He didn’t deserve because all he did was bring her pain.

"I should be the one apologising, not you. I... shouldn’t have kept your identity hidden from you. I thought doing so would... not cause any trouble but I guess I was wrong. I... was wrong," he admitted his fault, and after taking a deep breath, he decided to co clean. "Actually, the reason why you never got your wolf during your eighteenth birthday is because... you are..."

"The Primal Alpha." Ravenna completed his statent before he did.

Alaric froze, and the hand that was holding her wrist fell. His mind was in chaos when he saw that hurtful and knowing look plastered on here face. She knew. How? And how much did she know?

"You... Who told you?" He asked in a whisper that was almost inaudible to human ear, but no one was human there so they heard him loud and clear. "I an... Do you rember... Damn! I... Astrid... Do you..." His speech was distorted as mixed emotions he had never experienced before overflowed. Was it confusion? Excitent? Fear? Or maybe anger? He didn’t know. He ruffled his hair before raising his eyes to et hers.

Ravenna felt her hurt clench in pain, but she still went ahead and told him. "I know everything." She said looking down into his eyes, unblinking. "That... I am the reincarnation of Astrid."

Silence fell in the room as everyone’s attention was now solely on Ravenna, while she just stared at the man sitting beside her. She was scared. Scared of how he would react. After all, she had caused him unimaginable pain. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he loathed her.

"You really do rember," Finn stated breaking the torturing silence.

Ravenna nodded but her eyes never moved from Alaric, who was also gazing at her. His eyes had slowly dimd and she couldn’t guess what he was thinking. All she could was wait.

"How?" Zander asked as they all stood, unmoving, not far away from them.

Ravenna didn’t reply instantly, until she saw the questioning look on Alaric. Briefly, she explained how she had regained mories of her previous life. Only that she did not tell the news about her pregnancy. Maybe they already knew.

By the ti she was done, silence reigned again, but this ti it didn’t last for long.

"So, it was Liam who was behind grandfather and also the one who has been causing trouble all this ti?" Luke asked with a deep calm voice, but his eyes were anything but calm.

"Yes, but Liam is not at fault. He’s also a victim just like any one else." Ravenna added, knowing Luke had never liked Liam from the beginning.

"The Lycan King is still alive till date?" Zeke, standing between Luke and Seth, asked with gritted teeth. Even if it had been hundreds of years, none of the three siblings had forgotten that man, the Lycan King, who also their grandfather, was the genesis of every misery in their lives. The reason why they lost their parents and their sister. After years of thinking he was, Zeke anger resurfaced when he heard he was still breathing. Many years ago, he and his brothers had tried to found any news concerning his whereabouts, but got nothing. Thus, they assud he was dead. Until now.

"Yes."

"Where’s he?" Zeke wanted to get his hands on the old man. It didn’t matter if they were blood related. All he knew was he had to die.

Ravenna shook her head indicating she didn’t know either. Everything was just kicking into everyone, but most especially Alaric, who was not involved in the conspiracies of the past. She had chosen to hide it from him with the intent of keeping him safe. Even if she did manage to do so, the pain she left for him to bear was a lot. Looking at him now, she didn’t know what to say. Her eyes only remained on his, that never wavered from her since from earlier.

"Alaric," Ravenna called out his na when she saw he had no intention of saying anything. He seed to be in a trance. "I... Are you alright?"

Alaric didn’t say anything which got her more worried. She pulled herself closer to him and was about to hold his hand when he beat her to it. Alaric grabbed her and made her sit on his lap, then buried his face on her neck. "Don’t leave again."
