Destiny Weaving System- Teacher Becomes Dual Cultivating Overlord Chapter 53 53: Qi Condensation Realm
A Few Minutes Ago;
While others were busy protecting him, Ken was busy cultivating.
The problem was that he felt the presence of the rock creatures near him. This almost startled him to the point of waking up.
But surprisingly enough, he didn't sense any sort of ill intent from these rock creatures. He was unable to understand this.
It's not like he had the ability to read others' emotions. He just didn't feel them attacking him.
So, he let them do their job while he continued his cultivation progress.
Reaching the Qi Condensation Realm required him to open the first main ridian in his body.
Unlike the secondary ridians, there were nine main ridians, and these ridians were important to channel a large amount of Qi into his body.
But it was called Qi Condensation Realm for a reason.
That was to turn the gas into a liquid.
Normally, Qi would remain in the form of a gas. That's how cultivators were able to absorb it from the surroundings.
But the gaseous form of Qi had many restrictions, such as the size of Dantian, the purity of Qi, and even the density of Qi.
So, Qi must be transford into liquid form.
To do so, Qi was constantly required to lose most of its energy. This energy loss was significant for the cultivator.
Because Qi was that incredible energy that could enhance his lifespan.
So, this energy loss was the loss of vitality.
And, this vitality was purged out of the Dantian and into his body. Because of the loss of vitality, the particles of Qi would constantly co closer.
Until they reached a point where their particles started rging to form a new molecule.
This new molecule of Qi would be in the form of a liquid.
So, would this Qi be any weaker than previous Qi?
No! It wouldn't. Despite losing its vitality, the Qi still retained most of its properties.
Or rather the lack of one.
Cultivation wasn't just about increasing the Qi amount or transforming the body.
It was mostly about comprehending the laws of the universe, understanding the rules of nature, and walking on the path of the Dao.
The center of knowledge of everything that had occurred in the universe.
So, when Qi lost its vitality, it gained purity. The purity rged with the understanding of a cultivator could beco more deadly.
Such as turning Qi into fire could be much easier. Turning Qi into a sword would just be a thought.
These were all the results of Qi losing its vitality. But this vitality wouldn't disappear.
It would rge with the cultivator and increase their lifespan.
But of course, there were levels about this. There were many things about cultivation that even Ken hadn't understood in his two hundred years of life.
He was just a Foundation Established Cultivator, nothing more.
His lifespan was nothing more than three hundred years.
At this mont, he had finished the process of turning his Qi into liquid. Because of that, he had managed to absorb twenty tis more Qi than before.
And, all of that Qi was stored within his Dantian.
But now, he had to completely reach the first stage of the Qi Condensation Realm. And so, he had to unlock the first ridian.
The Heart ridian was connected directly from his Dantian to his heart.
This ridian could pump his Qi into his heart to constantly strengthen his body during the battle.
The more Qi it could rge with his blood, the more strength he would gain during the battle.
And, thanks to the ridian, he would be able to send a lot of Qi into his heart.
That's why this whole process of opening the ridian was so important.
Ken compared this process to drinking soda from a cup rather than a straw.
Because the straw had a smaller hole, the soda reaching the mouth would be much less.
On the other hand, the cup could have as much surface area as the mouth. So, drinking soda from the cup was much faster.
However, so people can finish the entire bottle of soda within just a few seconds, while others, with a cup, may take more ti.
That was because of the experience and training.
So, if a cultivator could constantly learn to send Qi faster through the smaller ridians, he could still get similar results.
It's just that it wasn't easy.
More importantly, if soone wanted to do it, that person needed to learn this while they were in the Body Tempering Realm.
Otherwise, they would instinctively use the main ridians.
Ken planned to learn this thod in this lifeti as well. After all, he had been in the Body Tempering Realm for decades in his previous life.
Learning that wouldn't be difficult, either. He just needed so ti.
Unfortunately, not everything could go as planned.
The mont he participated in this annual competition, Ken understood this more than anything else.
So, he had no choice but to reach the Qi Condensation Realm. And, with the massive amount of Qi in his Dantian, he was ready to open the first ridian.
As for learning that kind of skill, he could do it. After all, he had previous life experience. It would take much longer to make that habit.
But it was possible.
So, he didn't think much about it and released a massive amount of Qi into the first ridian connecting out of the Dantian to his heart.
The ridians were an extrely important part of the human body. He had to be extrely careful while releasing so much Qi into the ridians.
But the actual ridians were only these nine. Other smaller ridians were just blood vessels.
For a cultivator, blood vessels could be turned into ridians to carry Qi because they were so spread out throughout the body.
But if they weren't molded into ridians on ti, it would be impossible to do it in the future.
This molding wasn't just related to using blood vessels to carry Qi. It also referred to tempering every part connected to these ridians.
Since these ridians were blood vessels, they were pretty weak in the beginning and could easily be torn apart.
And they were so much different from the main ridians that a normal human wouldn't survive without secondary ridians.
While cultivators did require main ridians, it was only for the progress of their cultivation.
That's why the main ridians were part of the cultivation system and why the Qi Condensation Realm was considered the starting point of a cultivator.
Because tempering the body could be done before the age of thirteen, but condensing the first ridian couldn't be done till the age of sixteen.
Unless that person had used heavenly resources to temper their bodies.
Because the main ridians were considered magnets for Qi.
Qi could not only flow inside of them, but they would also absorb Qi/spiritual energy on their own.
So, after awakening the ridians, a cultivator wouldn't need to focus on absorbing the spiritual energy; they just needed to focus on refining the Qi.
But since they were magnets and secondary ridians also possessed Qi, there was a chance that they could be absorbed by the main ridians.
The problem was that there were nine ridians in the human body. So, this attraction force would co from different sides.
Making the Qi flow irregularly and burst out of the blood vessels.
That's why the Body Tempering Realm was so important.
Only by strengthening every part of the body, a cultivator would be able to strengthen the small ridians.
That's why the better a cultivation technique, the stronger a cultivator would be.
In ancient tis, so people tried to abandon the Body Tempering Realm, only for them to die due to internal injuries.
Since the ridians weren't that useful to the body but still had so level of attraction force, small bits of energy would often be absorbed into them.
This was why having faster cultivation was considered the sign of a genius.
Because the longer they wait to clean these main ridians, the harder it becos.
There would always be a limit to how much Qi a ridian could contain. And if clearing the ridian required too much Qi, it would take a long ti.
Even for a normal cultivator, this was a step that could take days.
But for fire elent cultivators, this step could be sped up. Because they would often carry hot Qi, it would clear the ridian faster.
Burning the impurities and sending them out to the small ridians connected to the main ridians.
Opening the ridian wasn't just about clearing the ridian. It was also about opening the connection of the main ridian with secondary ridians.
This process was supposed to be extrely long.
But for Ken, it was extrely short. During those two years of his cultivation, he had cleared almost every single main ridian.
After all, his body was no different than a pressure cooker for the majority of those two years.
Constantly burning the impurities and scattering them in the main ridians.
So, with one powerful sweep, Ken cleared the main ridian and opened its connection to the smaller ridians.
Finally, stepping into the First Stage of Qi Condensation Realm!
