"Is everything ready?" The first Elder turned his head towards Makim and asked.

"Of course, it is. The preparation is complete. But I just want to ask this one more ti."

"If we do this, his inheritance will never co up again. Normally, his inheritance should be enough to produce one or two Saint Realm cultivators."

"So, should we truly do this?" Makim looked at his father and asked.

The first elder folded his hands in front of his chest and said.

"We have to do this. Do you think I don't know this? Unless we can find the Blood Essence of a Dragon, we can't transform into a dragon."

"Without that, how are we supposed to go there? It's an impossible task. So, just do your job."

Hearing that, Makim nodded his head and put both of his hands together.

His index and middle fingers were up while the other fingers were closed. As he closed his eyes, a golden energy flowed out of him.

This energy went straight to the cube sitting on the circle. When this energy filled the cube, a bright yellow light erged from the cube.

Soon, that light started moving in two directions, following a straight line to other points where similar cube was situated.

Until they managed to form a thin yellow barrier around the entire Golden Dragon Sect.

At this mont, Ken was confused.

He was in a state of half panic and half confusion.

He didn't even understand why he was supposed to absorb the Blood Essence of the Flood Dragon into his heart.

This was a suicide.

He didn't want to die.

Because of his action, everyone was looking at him.

Zephyr asked in confusion as Ken's body started shaking violently.

His knees were weak, and the blood essence was fully absorbed into his heart.

Suddenly, he felt a strong pain in his heart.

He raised his head and scread. The voice shook the very surroundings. His Qi kept flaring like a wave in the ocean.

Elaine clutched her hand on his shoulder while her friends did the sa with her.

Zephyr was on either side, so he didn't get hold of Ken. He was blasted away by Ken's Qi.

"What's going on?"

Elaine's body was getting weaker under the pressure of Ken's Qi. But she managed to sohow remain conscious.

Tears gathered in her eyes, but before she could react, Supre Elder and Great Elder shouted.

"Sect Leader, look up!"

The Sect Leader raised his head.

He was stunned. Surrounded by the yellow barrier, he felt like soone was invading his sect.

But when he released his spiritual sense, he couldn't find anyone.

"Are they trying to hold us inside this barrier?"

"Whoever is plotting against us is trying to keep us here? But why?"

At this mont, the Second Elder turned towards the Fifth Elder and asked.

"Elder, have you ever seen a formation like this?"

The Fifth Elder observed the formation for a while before his eyes shrank heavily.

"No, no, this is not a Barrier. Sect Leader, this is a barrier. This is Spirit Activation Formation. It is used to activate the hidden formation of our sect."

At this mont, before the Sect Leader could even react, his body suddenly disappeared.

Not just him, even other people started disappearing.

One by one, every single person living inside the sect or within the boundaries of the barrier disappeared.

When they reappeared, it was a place full of nothing but fire, magma, and large landscapes.

But the problem was that even when they landed on those landscapes, the heat was too strong.

At this mont, Elaine was holding Ken's shoulder while Alice and Julia were trying to console her.

The Sect Leader instantly understood the situation. The heat was catching up to them.

His voice startled the other elders as they released their Qi to such a level that they managed to cover every single disciple around them with their Qi.

"No, no, no!"

Elaine's face turned pale. At this mont, Ken's heartbeat was getting slower and slower.

If this continued, he would die at any mont.

Even if she was protected by the Qi from the elders, she didn't feel safe. She held Ken's body and cried.

"Ken, please, don't give up! Wake up, Ken! Wake up!"

At this mont, she intensely released her Qi inside Ken's body, hoping to get any sort of connection with him.

She didn't realize that it was this move that saved Ken's life.

When this was activated, three golden lines appeared on his forehead, followed by one golden line flowing into his heart.

The other two lines slowly disappeared, leaving only this line constantly feeding a strange energy into his heart.

At this mont, two different powers roared inside his heart. Two types of blood essence were fighting against each other.

"Gahhhh!"

Ken opened his eyes and coughed out so blood and Qi.

"Ken!"

Elaine couldn't help but joyfully hug Ken by his neck.

"Alice, Julia! Ken woke up!"

She turned around to talk to her friends, only then did she see the situation at hand.

At this mont, the Qi around their bodies started burning until nothing remained. Followed by their bodies turning into ash.

At last mont, Sect Leaders and other Elders instinctively pulled back their Qi, and the mont that happened, almost every single disciple started turning into ash.

Ken roared.

When he saw this, he didn't even need to get the information to understand what was going on.

He knew if he didn't do sothing fast, Elaine was gonna die.

In his desperation, Ken stopped pumping his Qi into his heart, instead releasing all of his Qi outside his body and towards Elaine.

He instinctively protected Alice and Julia as well.

When that happened, Elaine bitterly shook her head and said, while pointing at the Sect Leaders and others.

"Save your Qi, Ken! This won't protect us."

Although she didn't know why Ken Qi was a bit better than the Sect Leader and others, she knew it wouldn't last long.

Because in front of her, the bodies of the sect leader, supre elder, great elder, and numbered elders started turning into ashes.

When Ken saw this, his eyes went blank for a mont. Only then did he realize, everyone else had already left this world.
