“What is this?” Bai Qianqian asked, mildly scared as she tried to pull her arm back.
“Don’t move around. I won’t harm you. You don’t need to be scared,” Bai Jingqing said in a chilly tone.

“I didn’t an it that way.” Bai Qianqian averted her eyes awkwardly.
Only after the injection did Bai Jingqing let out a sigh of relief. He threw the syringe away and, washing her up, carried her back to the bedroom.
He told her to stay in bed and not move about.
“Am I pregnant?” Bai Qianqian suddenly asked him.
Bai Jingqing, leaving the room, froze. His eyes were dark as he replied, “If I say you are…what are you going to do?”
Bai Qianqian’s tears fell imdiately. She bit her lip, holding back her cries. No wonder she had been feeling nauseous lately, feeling so sleepy, no wonder her nstruation that used to be regular was delayed for a long ti. No wonder she wasn’t allowed to take any dications, no wonder she had gained a bit of weight, no wonder she was craving sour foods…
