Huangfu Ye noticed sothing was wrong. Cursing under his breath, he jumped into the water. The icy chill made him shudder. He quickly dived down and pulled a limp Xiaonuan back to the surface.
Dragging her ashore, he slapped her face lightly. “An Xiaonuan, wake up! An Xiaonuan!”
He checked her nostrils and found that she wasn’t breathing!
A sudden panic washed over Huangfu Ye, and he imdiately started giving her CPR.
After so ti, she coughed out a bit of water but remained unconscious. Huangfu Ye quickly wrapped her in a towel, carried her in his arms, and swiftly left the pool.
After giving her a warm bath, he tried to feed her so hot ginger water like last ti, but she wouldn’t swallow any of it.
And her breathing was growing weaker.

“She’s a thief, and definitely not a good person. Did I ever tell you about soone stealing my wallet? She did it! She also kicked

with two hundred and fifty bucks? That was her too!” Huangfu Ye recounted these incidents with evident resentnt.
