Bai Qianqian watched as Gu Qingxin, ignoring her weakened state, got out of bed to put on her clothes and apply makeup, so that she would not appear so pale and cause Beiming Han to worry.
“Qianqian, can you tell , with this blush and lipstick, do I look healthier?” Gu Qingxin turned to Bai Qianqian.
Tears streaming down her face, Bai Qianqian nodded.
“Co on, stop crying. I’m still young. I can still have another baby,” Gu Qingxin said, comforting her.
“Do you still feel pain then?” Bai Qianqian sniffed and asked.
“No, it doesn’t hurt anymore.”
Gu Qingxin smiled. How could she not feel the pain? That was her baby, a part of her. Her lower abdon felt heavy and painful, a result of the surgery to clean her uterus, which would require ti to recover.
She knew that the recovery, like the ‘small confinent’ period after childbirth, would require careful rest, otherwise her health could worsen.
However, she couldn’t afford to care too much about that right now.
She did not want Beiming Han to find out about her miscarriage, and she definitely didn’t want him to know that the miscarriage was caused by her blood donation for him.
After Bai Jingqing finished examining Beiming Han, the door to the hospital room opened, and Gu Qingxin ca in.
Seeing her, Bai Jingqing and Huangfu Ye both frowned. Gu Qingxin tried to act normal as she walked to the bed, Beiming Han’s gaze locked onto her until she sat down.

Left alone in the room, Beiming Han pulled Gu Qingxin into his arms and stared deeply at her.
“Ah Han, don’t move too much. Be careful with your wound,” Gu Qingxin warned anxiously.
“Where have you been?” Beiming Han suddenly asked.
Gu Qingxin stiffened. The tears she had been desperately trying to hold back unexpectedly fell from her eyes, “I was just resting in the room next door.”
Beiming Han suddenly pushed her away and fixed his gaze on her face. Worried, Gu Qingxin said, “Don’t move around, your wound could easily reopen.”
