Her face had swollen worse than before, looking terrifying.

Beiming Han held her tightly, refusing her to scratch herself. Suddenly, he rembered there should be so frozen ice cubes in the fridge.
He dragged her towards the fridge, with one hand restraining her from scratching her face, while the other grabbed ice. His plan was to cool her face first, hoping it would relieve her discomfort.

“Do I look ugly now?” Gu Qingxin looked up at the man above her. She was certain she looked terribly unsightly now.
“No, you’re beautiful.”
Beiming Han looked into her eyes as he answered sincerely. The sight stirred her deeply. Although she knew he was lying, his eyes weren’t betraying him, as if she truly was beautiful.
The ice could only bring temporary relief before she lost control again. Beiming Han had no other choice but to keep holding on to her. When Gu Qingxin couldn’t bear the itchiness anymore, she would bite him, scratch him. He would simply comfort her in a soft voice, “Hold on, just a bit more…”
As soon as the helicopter left the island and there was a signal, Ye Qi contacted Bai Jingqing and explained Gu Qingxin’s condition. Bai Jingqing understood imdiately, it was a severe allergic reaction.
A severe allergic reaction could be life-threatening!
